2. i saw a video on youtube where a person's eyes were turned red (demon type of stuff). what tool would i need for that?
3. what can a person do to a liquify tool (the expanding one) to make it seem more realistic instead of "thick"?
4. if i'm editing a person's face, how would i make it "smooth" and "light"?
1 - how do I put this texture on the wing, without copying and pasting?
2 - how to make the gradient smooth face?
What parameters use?
I've been seeing a few flowerish type tiled backgrounds.
How or where can I make or find brushes like this?
I've just begun using Xara. I've used Corel before but can't see how to make pattern or arrays of objects in Xara. I'm needing to make mask templates for Watch faces, graphics mask for tire graphics etc.

I'm using the Make Live feature on a low poly object to create new objects. For example, using the live object as a shell to create new polygon with the "create poly" tool. It seems to only want to snap to the center point of each face on the object.

The expression he has and every other thing is just perfect but I want to replace the plaid with a color and /or another pattern(such as a dark blue denim). Is it possible to do so without losing the lines/folds of the shirt? I know I can play with the hue/saturation but that still leaves me with the horrible plaid pattern.

I added a drawing file which has a coloured face solid,I put a circle on blue face and making a hole on this face, and I want to delete red face without exploding solid, after all this I want to mesh this solid with maximum 25 units.
There is any option to merge bottom face of pad eye and pipe curved face... Something like
1. Extrude face to a surface or
2. like notch option available in frame generator ?
N:B - pad eye is made by extrusion and pipe made by frame generator.
All I need to do is merge a circular face to a flat face, so both faces become one continuous face. Is this possible at all?
I have a attached a screenshot to show what I mean. Face 1 needs to be merged with face 2. This is so if I constrain anything to that face it will constrain to the entire face and not either the circular face OR the flat face.
when I anchor the layer face over the background face the floating selection disappears which means I cannot work on the layer face and therfore am unable to erase the layer face into the background face, this is on gimp 2.6
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've run into this problem with different sketch types when curves cross each other and are trimmed, or when patterned sketches are coincident. The problem I'm having is that I'm creating a ratchet wheel and I'm patterning a sketch in two parts so that the spacing for the teeth line up. What I do first is draw the angled line of the tooth, do a circular pattern of 20 teeth around the origin, an then create an arc from the bottom point of each line to the tip of the next line to create the back of the tooth. When I try to extrude it, it says the loop is not closed, but when I do the repair, it says it overconstrains the sketch and is not possible. I've tried creating this profile using a center circle that intersects the bottom of the teeth and it does not work either. I was able to make the profile I needed by making one tooth, extruding it, patterning the feature, and then creating a circular sketch in the middle and extruding it. The problem with this (aside from requiring additional steps not needed in other programs) is that when I needed to go back and change tooth dimensions, it can't rebuild the sketch.
I attached two different sketches of the non-closed profile as well as the solid ratchet piece that I made using the pattern feature command that has the teeth that can't be easily edited.
I'd like to crop a circle out of an patterned image.

I'm driving this sub-assembly with a quantity parameter and when addition instances are created, the hidden part turns visible. I have created my own Patterned Curtain wall Family and applied it to a conceptual mass, I have not added any parameters as I'm not too familiar with this aspect of Revit. The corners of the building do not align allowing viewing straight into the interior.
I have attached the model in my dropbox so you can fully understand my problem..

I am also interested in applying glass to some of the hexagon patterns instead of steel to act as windows. At the moment I'm just turning the transparency up on individual patterns .
I'm trying to conform a couple of thin films on top of each other to a complex shape. I am trying to conform the one in this picture: [URL].......
My final result should look exactly like "untitled.3.jpg", but with the gold and silver patterns seen at the link to the website on top of the silver film.
I've tried the "cloth" modifier, but it seems it only works to conform planes and not solids. I've also looked at "flex" and "skin", but still no luck.
What modifier would be best to accomplish this? I would like to be able to tune how much the film conforms to the surface.
Here's the CAD model for the assembled thin films: [URL].......
And the model for the red object: [URL]......
Different filetypes, the first is a ProE file, the second is a Solidworks file.

Having some trouble with some annotative hatches. Notably ones with patterns in them? I am testing them out in multiple viewports of various scales and for the most part they work great. But every so often in a particular viewport they either disappear altogether or shrink to a smaller size and bring my AutoCAD to a dead crawl?
