Nov 20, 2013I have made a click able image in CS6 but when I save it to my computer as a GIF, I'm not able to click on it. I'm saving the file as an "Image" and not using "HTML and Images" as I can't find a way to place HTML files on my website.

Anyway my question - Is there a way to just take the code from all the files and paste it into the website ?

Apr 30, 2013I have determined that an AutoCAD drawing has the unfortunate ability to have Annotation Scales "hard coded", meaning they CANNOT be removed from the drawing.
Let me explain....
In a detail drawing file (i.e. my master drawing file where I keep all of our standard details), I was getting duplicate Annotation Scales. I would try to use the SCALELISTEDIT command to try and delete the anno scales not being used, but it would appear they WERE being used. (and resetting the anno scales didn't work either)
I was using a combination of tricks to determine WHICH annotation objects were using the duplicate anno scales. I would set ANNOALLVISIBLE to 0 and set the CANNOSCALE to the duplicate anno style to see where they were being used with no luck
I would then use the QSELECT command to group select each type of annotation object that were annotative, and check to see if they were using the duplicate scales. Again, no luck
THEN, I decided to cut-n-paste each detail one-at-a-time from my master drawing file to a new BLANK drawing with only one annotation scale in it (i.e. 1:1). I would paste a detail, and then enter the SCALELISTEDIT command to see which anno scales "came along for the ride". I pasted a particular detail that carried over the duplicate anno scales, but when I checked all of the annotation objects for the duplicate anno scales - NOTHING! I then deleted that particular detail, purged it, and then I was able to delete the duplicate anno scales. But no matter what I did to try and fix that detail (i.e. wblock, cut-n-paste, save-down, etc) the duplicate anno scales simply will NOT be allowed to be deleted even though i cannot find any objects associated with them.

Jun 20, 2009Ok I'm new to both photoshop and making a website, but I'm diving into both I know most standard websites have 3 columns to them, the main center website and then the side bars of color/design. The side bars are what I'm trying to figure out. The main background color of my website is going to be black, so I would like to have a dark grey side bars but then also wanted to layer 3 different images over the grey, in diagnol rows, parallel with each other, but almost kind of ghosted themselves... Does that make sense? How do I take a picture, and turn it ghosted/transparent almost so that they will show just ever so slightly on the dark grey side bars? Thanks.

Mar 2, 2013If you could modify attached background image so it would be more suitable for a repeating background image for a website? I have been already trying to do that by myself for hours (duplicating layers, flipping them horizontally/vertically, offset...), but how to realize that well. The main problem is that gradients and textures on borders are way to rough and it is really noticeable when so small background gets repeated for many times. On top of that, corners have dark shadows which make everything even more noticeable. Please note that attached image should be resized for about 3 times, I'm just posting original image which I have to work with.

Oct 15, 2004I am trying to determine the best approach to use to convert several psd files into html. I know I can slice the image up, using PS or ImageReady, but here are my questions:
The PSD files make up my entire site. My home page is a PSD, as is every other page. But each page has common elements. For example, my logo is the same, and it is in the same place on each page. I also have links that are common to all pages. If I slice up the first page, how can I be sure that I have sliced the second and subsequent pages the same way so I only can use 1 logo image for my site?
Is there a way to save the slice layout of one page and then import it into another page? That way, I would have precisely the same layout of the slices.
Does this make any sense, or is there a far better way to take a PSD and convert it to html?
Illustrator :: Creating Master AI File Like HTML Include File
Sep 15, 2013I would like to create a master background layer that multiple pages will be built over, while retaining the ability to edit the master background layer after-the-fact which will automatically change all the subsequent pages.
Similar to how an include file would work on a webpage, ie: create the menu as an include file, then all pages that reference that include file would have their menus changed when that single include file gets modified.
Or another way of looking at it: like how headers/footers work in word, ie: change the header or footer and all pages in that document are automatically modified.

Apr 27, 2004I have two psd files. One with my logo and another with my web page template. I want to add my logo to the web page template without having to recreate it. I have been able to add the layers of my logo to the web page template following some advice I have found on this site (using duplicate layers and selecting the web page file.), but the logo is too big.
I have chained the layers of my logo together but now I need to scale it down, move it, then add some layer effects such as inside beveling etc. How do I scale just the logo layers down so they will fit correctly with the rest of the page?
