I made some pictures of PVC strips for my website and have light glare from the windows in the rolls. Is it possible to take the light glare out to make the products look better?
View 4 RepliesI have an interior shot of a living room. There is a framed paiting on the wall which has a reflection from the window on the opposing wall. I'm not sure how to remove the reflection while keeping the integrity of the photo. Another possible fix could be doing a mirror image of the photo itself to "cover" the glare spot on the other half of the painting. I have much to learn when it comes to photoshop.

Second question. How to make a text looks "real".
I have thought : let's take a picture of a someone holding a blank paper and add a message.

It's not bad but it doesn't look as if I had stamped the message. So I was wondering is there any tool to do so ? Or to make the text fit the picture. As you can see, the quality is not perfect, the first thing coming in my mind is "pixels". It seems we have two different kind of "pixelisation" (I don't know if it's the correct term for what I want to say) : an "old" picture with a new text...I tried the pixel filter it's not working fine.
is there any way to put Remove from disk as default action when hitting del and deleting a picture ("remove" from LR catalog is normally set as default). Lightroom 4 on Windows 7 OS.

In the photo below I would like to remove the sun glare 'spots' you can see on the rear wheel arch (plus a few smaller ones also), but when I try to colour that area it never blends nicely with the rest of the paintwork.

This is a particularly bad photo which I need to improve and I'm honestly not sure if it's just a lost cause.
Back in the early 80's I had an exhibition of my paintings and took photos from an Olympus OM-10. Each painting had a spotlight mounted above it and as you can see from the attached picture, the light glare is strong at the top of the painting (washing out the color and details) and the glare extends about halfway down the photo.
