Photoshop :: Remove Sun Glare
May 13, 2004I have a photo that was taken outside. It has some glare from the sun. Is there any way to remove the lines. It is the only photo that we took standing like that outside, and my roommate and his newlywed wife probably would like this picture. I have it posted online, if you need to look at it or download it (I havnt had a chance to resize it or anything, so it is pretty big at the moment)

Oct 26, 2011I have an interior shot of a living room. There is a framed paiting on the wall which has a reflection from the window on the opposing wall. I'm not sure how to remove the reflection while keeping the integrity of the photo. Another possible fix could be doing a mirror image of the photo itself to "cover" the glare spot on the other half of the painting. I have much to learn when it comes to photoshop.

Jun 8, 2011I am trying to edit some pictures that a customer of mine has taken. They are of silver utensils wrapped with beads and the way she has taken them, there is a huge shine reflection on them. There are 25 current pictures all using the same dark background.
I have fiddled with the adjustment brightness and highlights, but they come out looking gray and fake, so I removed those adjustments.
I tried using burn the bright spots and then dodge the coloured stones to bring back some luster. No matter what i am doing, it no longer is a silver utensil, it is a picture that has been poorly edited, and that simply isn't okay.

I need to reduce the glare/reflection and the stones need to be vibrant.

May 29, 2012I am trying to remove a serious lens flare from a photo, with varied (and not very good) results.
What would you say would be the best technique to remove this lens flare? work with the photo and demonstrate the result by posting the image here. I should probably point out that this was not shot with RAW.
