there is a way to allow photoshop to save files with names longer than 31 characters. I am creating a Photo Gallery and want the name of the files to contain the names of the persons in the picture.
I read the help docs but can't find where to modify the Save Options.
Where does one go to change this option?
Is there a way to adjust the length of the tick marks used in dimension strings? Â I'd like something other than the supplied Diagonal 1/8" or Diagonal 3/64" options.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSeveral times, we generate a drawing, and the text widths in the columns vary greatly. Some have text that is ten characters long, and others have thirty-plus characters.
Is there a way to be able to select the table (or perform the command to all tables in the current layout) and have each of the columns expand to the appropriate width, that depends on the longest string of text in that column, for each column. The problem I see, is that some tables have two columns, some have six, and of course other with any number in between. The same is also true for the amount of rows.
I lost the ruler to adjust the width and length of mtext objects in the editor settings.Â
How can I get this ruler back?
how can i draw this plan without knowing the angles for each wall? when i draw , the last wall is incorrect can autocad adjust the angles of walls for me after typing the length of the walls ?

I need to include several pages of pdfs in a book. The pdfs are scanned text documents, image only, with no security applied. When I open the pdf on my mac pro with photoshop cs6, I can make adjustments in the curves dialog, but when I close the dialog the adjustments disappear. The history pallette shows the action, but nothing happened. Also can make visible changes in a curves adjustment layer, but when I flatten the image the changes disappear. I've tried opening the pdf as grayscale, rgb, and cmyk; same result. I've also saved it in several different formats, then reopened it; same result. The file initially opens as a background layer with a locked symbol in the layers pallette. If I duplicate the layer and delete the background, the locked symbol disappears, but photoshop still won't accept changes made in the curves dialog. I tried it with cs4, and had a friend try the same things with on a pc; same result. Levels adjustment won't work, either.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSomeone sent me a photo (group shot), said it's to be printed on cream colored stock and requested that I color correct it for that scenario. Well, I don't have a sample of the stock but I DO have a scan of it (but it looks more greenish than creamish). Assuming that I end up with a color that accurately represents the card stock, what's the best way to do the correction? I've put the image over the approximated color and set the blend to Multiply but I don't know if that's what I need to be doing or not. Funny I've never run into this before.

I have copied the file a few different ways so I know it is not corrupt.
I have problem with the file created by Corel. It shows that length of the file is 5min. However, actually it is about 15-20min. When I am running it with VLC media player it shows all the stream ignoring the length. For now, it is the only one player I found that can do it. When I put this file in Corel it shows only 5min and it looks like it skip most of it. Shows the beginning and the end of the file.
Is there any way to change the file that Corel could read it as is, ignoring the length.
Is it possible to change the length of a line based on the length of an attribute?
I'd like to make the line a MINIMUM length of X" (I haven't decided how long yet--but know I'll need a minimum). But then after the user fills in the attribute, I'd like the length of the line to change to the length of the attribute plus a small amount (again, I haven't decided yet how much extra).
I was wondering if there is a way with DB's to have a line "follow" or "grow" with the content/value length of an attribute. Maybe some method of linking the attribute width to length of the line? Essentially, it would work just like turning on the underline setting when typing in mtext editor (or any program with an underline option for that matter), expect that the line could be placed anywhere, and would not have to reside directly below the text.

I have a little problem with JPG files. When I’m trying to export .IPT file to JPG file I can’t adjust quality of JPG file. Even if I change pixel quantity up to 1000 quality of picture stays same. Also size of the file is does not change no matter how much pixels I use. How to improve quality?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am working as the civil engineer on a design team for a building that is primarily using REVIT. My site design is done in Civil 3D in real world coordinates and elevations.
Unfortantely, the architect and the rest of the design team are working at 0,0 with a finished floor of 100. When I bring in the ADSK file, I can move it horiztonally to match my site but I can't figure out how to move it vertically so it ties in with my model.
I have a problem with file path length BOM. I need to show in BOM only the last folder name, not the whole length of file location. At the moment i´m doing it manually and it takes lot of time to look  and find each file location.

I have been trying to create adjustment layers but my photoshop just doesnt respond normally. When I click on adjustments > curve, I should be getting a new layer linked to the curve icon in my layers box. But all I get is the curve icon, I can't modify this "layer" coz I get a message saying this layer can't be edited because it's empty (applies to any kind of adjustment). Here's a screen cap

However, I've noticed that when applying a style to text (Baltic Sea Ice, for example), even after I rasterize the text layer, I am still unable to alter the color by changing the hue / saturation in order to match a precise color scheme. Is there another way to do this?
i'm trying to edit the contrast and brightness of my greyscale image, after using the cutout filter. Is there any way that the cutout filter can be applied on the fly while i'm changing the contrast and brightness/shadow and highlight options so that the changes i make get applied through the cutout filter? As at the moment i am having to guess when setting my contrast, shadow and highlight settings before applying the cutout filter.

I've played with brightness/hues/levels and I just can't figure out how to make these turn out decent.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have attached a logo I am working on. I have used the Stroke feature to put the black line around the letter "T". However, no matter which I choose "Inner" "Outer" or "Center" option, the stroke still seems to leave a curved edge to it, as you can see in the photo attached.
I would like it to be completely squared off.
I was thinking this has to do with the type of brush that the stroke feature is using. Can this be adjusted.
I often use the Image>Adjust Variations option in Photoshop but do not see the option in Photoshop CS6. I know we are still only in the BETA stage but I hope it is not going to be dropped. I like to use it for quick fixes on small portions of the image every now and again:)
