Photoshop :: Gradient Reflection Masking Angle

Jun 23, 2012

Im trying to figure out the right way to add a gradient mask but on an angle on my image. i have cut out batman and trying to give him a reflection.i have made 2 reflections using gradient mask . The 1st one is just vertical flipped and i have added a gradient mask,the 2nd  image i flipped the image and added a gradient mask,but i also used the skew and distort,but the foot looks a bit odd,due to the skewing and distortion.is there a better technique to achieve a better and more realistic reflection?

Illustrator Scripting :: Changing Angle Of Linear Gradient Fill

Feb 4, 2013

Suppose I have an object filled with a linear gradient. This object is the only selected. I just would like to change the angle of the gradient to 25 degrees. So I think I could do:

var doc = app.activeDocument
alert(doc.selection[0].fillColor.angle) // the result is the exact angle of the gradient fill of the selected object. Suppose 12 degrees.

//now the try to change:
doc.selection[0].fillColor.angle = 25.0

No errors are found by the Extended Script Toolkit..BUT...it does not change anything. As Illustrator reference manual does not say this property is read only, I think I could write.

Illustrator Scripting :: Add Linear Gradient To Object - Change Angle From 0 To90 Degrees?

Mar 2, 2012

Almost every time I add a linear gradient to an object I want to change the angle from 0 to 90 degrees.

Is there a script that I could use for this, so that I could assign a keyboard shortcut and press that instead of clicking the box & typing 90 all the time? (i.e. select an object, run a script & it would apply the standard black to white linear gradient at 90 degrees instead of 0.)

AutoCad 2D :: Rotate An Object To Match An Angle Without Knowing The Angle?

Oct 5, 2011

Is there a quick way to rotate an object to match an angle without knowing what the angle is? I am using AutoCAD 2011 now. I was using 2007 and I had an add on command the would rotate an object using a base point and picking the two lines that make up the angle, and it would match the angle you wanted. I can not get that command to load in 2011.

AutoCad :: Rotation Angle Doesn't Match Angle Inquiry

Jul 25, 2012

I have a property line that is N 36d19'52" E but needs to be N 12d52'18" E. The obvious and calculated rotation angle would be 23d27'34" but when I rotate the line by the calculated angle it doesn't rotate to the right angle. It's off by 0d11'10"!? When I draw a line by bearing at N12d52'18" E and inquiry the angle between the property line and the drawn line the angle difference is in fact 23d27'34".

how to convert "real world" angles of elliptical arcs into those shown in a dxf file?

Say that I have drawn an elliptical arc with its start angle on 210 degrees and an end angle of 324 degrees. The values in a DXF file, for an elliptical arc, have something to do with the contant "PI" (3.14159). I know that a full circle is 2*Pi but how to do this with elliptical arcs!!

Photoshop :: Gradient Editor Doesn't Load Gradient In CS6

Jul 9, 2012

I've been experiencing problems with the Gradient editor since I got PS and the problem is that whenever I create a gradient through the gradient editor and then load it, it does load it and instead just duplicates the ones that already exist.

I save all gradients at:

C:UsersRHAppDataRoamingAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS6PresetsGradients

However it does (mostly) work when I import pre-made (from web) Gradients.

I don't know why this happens but it also did the same thing when I had CS5.5!

Photoshop :: How Do You Do A Reflection On A 747?

Oct 7, 2006

I'm trying to remake a picture of the new 747 Advanced, and I cant figure out how to make a nice looking reflection.

Here is the picture I'm talking about, and the picture I'm working on. I'm not actually going to deal with the reflection untill the end, but I figured I would ask now in hopes that someone would reply before I actually get to that point lmfao.

The main things I want to reflect is the wing onto the body of the plane, and the windows onto the wing.

I really want this to look professional when it's done. I'm trying to build up my portfolio, and I want to turn this into a united airlines poster.

Photoshop :: Image Reflection

Jul 5, 2006

I'm having a nightmare in creating a realistic reflection of the cut-out white car I have attached to this post - as if it was shot in a studio with a shiney floor. I have scoured the forums and tried distorting the picture but can't seem to get it right. I have attached another file showing an example of a disasterous attempt.

The third file I've attached is an example of what I am trying to achieve. I understand that the underside would have to be recreated to make it realistic, but that can just be black.

Photoshop :: Background Reflection

Aug 21, 2006

I was taking photos for my club's badges and I thought using a green screen would be useful in editing the images later. It turns out that the green reflected off the wall and highlight some or all of the outter edge of the people photographed. This is a pretty mild example, but you can see the green bleed over into the hair especially. Listed below is an example of what I mean.

Is there any adjustments that I could do to recover the image? I'm half-skilled at photoshop, knowing enough to be dangerous, but I do pretty decent work and make it look like I know what I'm doing most of the time.
