View 1 Replies View RelatedFrom the Brush Presets Panel, I choose Basic Brushes from the drop down menu. Then Replace. The new choice of brushes appear in the Brush Panel and in the Brush Presets Panel.
But in the Brush Panel, additional brushes appear.
There are always more brushes in the Brush Panel than the Brush Presets Panel whenever I Replace. The Brushes Preset Manager is populated with identical brushes as the Brush Presets Panel. What determines the additional brushes that appear in the Brush Panel?
I have CS5. The bugs and broken features in AICS6, make it unusable in my workflow.
I am specifically concerned about the inability to drag global color swatches from the color panel to Gradient stops in the Gradient Panel. I use this method to update a gradient color because I find it MUCH faster than option-dragging to duplicate a stop color, then deleting the unused stop. Since I do this constantly, I find using CS6 very tedious.
In cs5 the masks panel was introduced to encourage the use of non-destructive lyre masks. It was a handy place to view all masks andcrevisitvforvrevision of refine mask command. It appears to be totally gone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am a Creative Cloud member. After installing the last update, my extension panel is not showing the icons associated for some of my extensions. For example: I have Russell Brown's extensions: - Adobe Edit in ACR and Flypaper Pro, which is supposed to show a colored icon with the letters ACR and the other a colored icon with a picture of a fly. Now for these extensions, it shows a pictures of LEGOs - I guess that's Adobe's icon for a plug-in. All of these extensions are showing in: Window>Extensions. What's going on? This is what I see in my extension panel:

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I open a properties panel / adjustment layer and I expand the panel by dragging from a corner, when I close the program I have to resize the panel the next time I use CS6
So here you can see exactly what the panels are doing:
When I open the adjustment layer from "B" above the panel opens to my preferred size:
When I open the panel from "A" above, it opens in a minimized size like this. Interestingly, any subsequent adjustment layers, whether opened from "A" or "B" are also minimized. NOT what I want.
All of this is even more annoying because I use the "Auto-collapse" option in the panel settings and whenever I try to grab the edges of a minimized panel to expand it, the panel collapses before I can expand it. So I have to go back, turn off "auto-collapse", expand the panel, turn "Auto-collapse" back on, etc.
how create some panels similar to the lightier green coloured one with rounded corners.
It looks as if the panels have a raised edge and in particular I like the light hitting the top and left hand edges.
I just updated to Photoshop CS6 from CS5.1 and trying to iron out a few issues. In Bridge CS 6 my Metadata Panel items are truncated for some reason. There is plenty of room in the panel width, so...? I have even pulled the width out further than shown below. There are no problems with the other panels.
Below are pics of the same panel in my install of CS 6 and then the same panel in my installation of CS 5.1.

View 1 Replies View Relateddraw a line or a shape or do almost anything it seems in PSCC, the Properties Panel jumps out. Quite rudely, it blocks the upper right of whatever I am working on. Yes, I can simply close it, but it interrupts my workflow, and it pops out constantly. This definitely did not happen in CS6 or any previous version of PS or even in the first version of PS in Creative Cloud.
