whether Photoshop's tools panel can be customized? What I mean is can we change the Grey color tools panel icons on the left side of the Photoshop CS6 software, to appear in color, just like how Adobe Photoshop Element's tools panel look like.

I use several brushes, the mixer brush and the smudge tool back and forth when painting. Is there a way I can pull the various brushes, and tools into a panel like the color swatches so it's all right there and all I have to do it click and go?
My PS don't want to understand me! Every time i close brush panel, save document and every time after starting PS i see this panel. In preference i try picking "Remember Panel Location", but it's not working. And this software don,t save last color mode, i start PS with grayscale mode.

My preferred medium for photography is underwater, so it is crucial the white balance is set to the area and depth of the shot. When I use Photoshop CS3 to develop the shot in RAW, as soon as I click on to the shot in bridge it instantly reverts back to the default white balance, In UK fresh waters this usually means a strong green cast.

My problem is: I often have to click through a lot of folders to get to the one I need and there's no chance to put individual folders at the save-dialog on the left side (as i.e. "computer", "desktop", "last viewed" etc.). I have an interactive board with tools (such as pen or eraser) which I want to integrate with the AI. The typical scenario woulld be as follows: the user lifts the pen from the tray, the pen event will me mapped into selecting Pencil Tool from AI toolbar after which the user can add freehand annotations to the AI document.
Is there an API which would allow me to map abailable hardware tools with relevant AI tools? Is there an example which would demonstrate such integration?
Need some customized linetypes for RW, PL, and so on that I can use?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm using AI to make graphics for a medical imaging system. Everything's dandy except the .svg files it exports always have this as the XML declaration, the first line:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
What I want is an explicit standalone pseudo-attribute, like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="no"?>
The XML spec says standalone defaults to "no" and isn't mandatory, but the parser I'm using (an Object Pascal adaptation of the Anti-Grain Graphics library, which is kinda deep and which I don't yet understand well enough to modify) crashes unless it's explicitly stated. What the value is doesn't seem to matter but it's got to be there.
For the time being I preface the parsing with a step that checks the first line, adds the standalone if it's not there, and saves the altered file. It works but it's a seriously ugly kludge. For the production version I can process the files once and leave the kludge out. Still, at least during development it would be nice to be able to tell AI to include it in the first place.

I made a drop down menu for offset commands back on a 2010 version. I wish to bring it over but I'm having a bit of trouble. I have read through and watched a few videos and they all tell me the same thing. Go into the CUI, click on Load Partial Customized File. I do this, select my cui file and I get an error that says:
Partial customization file cannot have the same Customization Group Name as the main customization file.
The name of my file is OFFSET MENU. I'm running 2012 version and I have finally gotten almost everything setup except for this.
I want to make a customized channel with all the dimesnions fixed - except A and G (variables). See attached screen shot.
