View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm doing an evacuation plan of an office building. The drawing itself is in the model space, obviously. The fire extinguishers and escape routes are added in layout.
The problem is that everything that I add in the layout ends up beneath the drawing in model space. I.e. the walls of the building are shown in front of the fire extinguishers which makes my evac.plan look like poop.AutoCad Architecture 2013.
Somehow the Content Center Filter clears all content while in ISO or DIN. Both libraries are turned on in project.
I can see only one custom library when either filter engaged. I also see both ISO and DIN parts when filter is off.

Since installing Buildinfg Design Suite Standard 13 my content explorer is showing a yelow error sign saying indexing error over content drawing icons. How do i fix this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedA co-worker scanned a photo and emailed it to me to edit it and try to improve it, but everything I want to do is grayed out so I can't select it and I can't figure out why. Maybe it has to do with how she scanned it?

When selecting a sub menu from within a main drop down menu the arrow points to the right but the actual sub menu pops up on the left in most cases. I have only noticed this recently and wonder if I have inadvertently messed up a setting as in the past I cant recall this being so but I don't use the editor a lot so may be mistaken.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to 2012 but forgot to install the express tools, Doh!. I installed them through control panel repair and everything works. Except when I close and restart ACAD the menu bar express menu disappears. I can bring it back by using cuiload but this is not ideal. Any way to get it to stick?Â

How do I add custom menu items to the main menu in Illustrator?
I would like to build my own menu with scripts that I use alot. This is a powerful feature that I use alot in other programs, but I have not seen any examples of this in illustrator.
all the twirly triangle dropdown menu things (what's the official term?) underneath the contents menu of layers. Especially now that I'm working with Convert to Shape Layer functionality I'm wondering what an efficient/shortcut based way to work with these inner menus is. For instance when converting Text to Shape layers - it seems like I'm spending most of my time dealing with twirly triangle management

Using VS X5 - Just making up a menu for my dvd im burning. Haven made a menu since using ..VS11+ I think it was.
All seems very very familar...similar etc and not asking it to do anything out of the ordinary which 11+ couldnt cope with ( just nowadays using all this AVCHD malaky etc )
Question -Main menu of my dvd - Why am I getting on my main menu page the begininings of my movie!!! I have my main menu setup ( bringing in a pre-made 30second clip on which I will put 'Press Play to watch movie' and/or 'chapter select'. ) When i preview my main menu page...I see the 30second clip i wanted but as it runs so too does my actual movie - at the same time.
I cant seem to find a button to ..basically..tell it not to play the movie as soon as you load the dvd but instead to wait until the 30 second main menu runs and automatically reruns etc until YOU decide to press the 'Play movie' button.
I intended to add more option at right click shortcut menu. Is it possible to be done?

I have a problem - I want to select whats inside of a png file that only has some objects in the middle of the image and it is surrounded by transparency.. so when I select with the shortcut "Ctrl + A" and copy it , when I paste from the clipboard it only gives me the objects , without the transparency and the proportions(dimensions) of the image are not being constrained.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have used content aware with some success but today I was using it to remove power lines in front of a building with a deep blue cloudless sky in the background. When I used content aware it lightened the sky to a pale blue, no where near the original color. I sampled the existing sky with the eye dropper but no change. I have used content aware probably 25 times and have never encountered this problem.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently downloaded Adobe Design and Web Premium CS6. I am not able to see the content of any of the file I open (.psd or .jpg). I do see the file has been opened as the file name appears on the open file tabs, I also see the preview of the file in the Navigator Window and list of layers in the layers window.Â
I am relatively new to this so might be missing on some option that needs to be turned on or something. I am using Window 7 Professional, Service Pack 1, with 8GB RAM.
I just purchased and loaded Photoshop CS6. Pictures (actually this is for all content in any layers) will not display at all or only partially display (see picture below). I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but there is no change. The other Adobe products from the Master Suite Collection run fine (Flash, Encoder, etc). I am thinking that my installation disc may be corrupted.Â

It states it was on beta version of Photoshop CS6 but no one have a video of it. Or maybe it was for future release like CS6.1 or CS7. I hope Adobe can add this useful feature on final version of CS6.

The tooltip for this checkbox says "Include initial document content in preset". What does this actually means? The document is empty, since it hasn't been created yet. So what is the "initial document content" it is referring to?
I've drawn some lines on a new unlocked layer. They are unconnected and of various colors. Now I need all of them to become orange (or any other color). I can do that by locking the layer's transparency and painting orange over them. However I was wondering if there is a more precise way to fill all the brushstrokes of a layer with a specific color?
