Photoshop :: CS5 - What Is Content In Document's Preset
Jan 2, 2013
I'm using CS5. In PS, when you go File > New and then try to save a new document preset, in the "Include In Saved Settings" group, there's a checkbox named "Content".
The tooltip for this checkbox says "Include initial document content in preset". What does this actually means? The document is empty, since it hasn't been created yet. So what is the "initial document content" it is referring to?
I created many document presets whilst opening a new document, but I can't figure out how to delete them, nor can I find the folder in the preset folder.
I know it's something simple but just can't get it done. I'm on a windows 7 64 bit if it makes a diff.
The loading of the preset "Rich Content PDF" failed.I Choose Edit > Adobe PDF Presets. I Click Import, and I select the "Rich Content PDF.joboptions" file.
But I have an error message (Impossible to copy the PDF preset).
Why is there a 'lightroom video preset' under the preset tabs. yet when i open a video file in lightroom and go to the develop modue it says video is not supported in the develop module?
I'm doing an evacuation plan of an office building. The drawing itself is in the model space, obviously. The fire extinguishers and escape routes are added in layout.
The problem is that everything that I add in the layout ends up beneath the drawing in model space. I.e. the walls of the building are shown in front of the fire extinguishers which makes my evac.plan look like poop.AutoCad Architecture 2013.
Since installing Buildinfg Design Suite Standard 13 my content explorer is showing a yelow error sign saying indexing error over content drawing icons. How do i fix this?
I inadvertently saved a document as a jpg and wondered if there is any way I can convert it to a document file that is handled more easily with a file that is other than a photo file?
as of yesterday i have been receiving an alert when i try to move a jpeg into a new photoshop doc stating that my target document has a different depth than my source document and will (which it definiately does) result in lower than expected quality.
Photoshop specs: CS6; RGB; 16 bit; Res 300 pixels/inches; size: letter; (advanced setting - don't know what these are) color profile: sRGB IEC61966-2.1; Pixel aspect ratio: square pixels
The code below crashes with an "attempt to write to protected memory" in debug mode (it crashes when it hits acDocMgr.add)but in the Release version it works fine. I am using Command Flags.Session
Dim acDocMgr As DocumentCollection = Application.DocumentManager Dim pStyle As Integer = Autodesk.AutoCAD.ApplicationServices.Application.GetSystemVariable("PSTYLEMODE") Dim acDoc As Document = Nothing If pStyle = 1 Then acDoc = acDocMgr.Add("acad.dwt") Else acDoc = acDocMgr.Add("acad -Named Plot Styles.dwt") End If
I had CS5 and downloaded CS6 and now I need to get my presets into CS6 and I followed directions to export and import and migrate as well even drag and drop and only one pattern comes up from the 22mb folder file I had in CS5 that we exported?
Any reasons why this would happen to to fix the issue as well?
It used to be that in creating Photoshop work for video, you would start with 720 x 540 and then re-size down to 720 x 480 to correct for the square vs. rectangular conversion.
Now I see that Photoshop CS seems to have various presets for new files but I'm not sure if the regular DV (720 x 480) and others will work straight away without the conversion process.
Is there any way to load more than one brush, patter, custom shape etc. at a time in the preset manager? I have about 300 brushes and I just dont want to do load them 1 at a time.
i don't have the preset tolls for brush anymore. the reason i need this is for the airbrush. i tried 'load brush" 'load tool" and stuff like that. anyone know how to get it back? or better yet, anyone know what options the "airbrush" is so i can custom add it?
I was watching an Illustrator 6 tutorial and the instructor was able to change his workspace to resemble photoshop with a 'Like in photoshop' preset. There was also an InDesign and FreeHand preset as well. Is this a feature that needs to be enabled or downloaded.
Can you save custom brush presets in CS6 for people in lower versions to install and use?? So far hasn't worked... error compatibility message. I've designed all of these things, and now only those with CS6 seem to be able to utilize!
I am trying to figure out how I would use a pattern that is a preset, which I downloaded off the internet (I'm free to use), as a repeated background in my CSS. I know all I have to do is get the image of the original square of the pattern - I just don't know how to locate that image.

I created a pattern (.pat) but I now seem unable to delete it. However, this pattern is not in my Presets > Patterns folder. When I search for it in my Finder, it doesn't show up. I am using Photoshop CS 6 and OS X Mavericks.
Ever since upgrading to CS6, when I click Levels>Load preset, I can no longer search in the window for the file. Previously, I could type in the file name and it would come up and I would select it. Now, when I search for the file name, there are no results at all. The file can be found by doing a regular search in a Finder window, but not through the window that comes up from the Levels window. I've reindexed Spotlight, and that has had no effect. The workaround is to open a Finder window, search, find the file, drag the file into the Levels' load window and select it there.
I have a set of RAW Presets that I am trying to get to work in my RAW window... They are all in there and I have followed all the instructions that came with the download, but when I go to apply them to an image I keep getting these pop-up blocks!
First, it says to change to '2012' so I do that, and then when I click them again under the 2012 setting it says to go back to using '2010'!!
I had lots of brushes put into my preset manager and now they have gone? this has happened before to my patterns textures preset. one day open and find them gone? Also is there a way that I can back up what is in my preset brushes and textures that are loaded? many. ps cs5
I wish to add my own textures to the Texture/Texturizer drop down window so that they appear together with Sandstone, Bulap, Canvas, etc. I do not want to use the Load texture, Browse for folder, system as its too fiddly to fit into my actions method of working.
Can I add to the preset textures mentioned above?
If Yes, what is the folder name/ address, and is there a particular method of installing my textures or do I just drag and drop?
I did this a while back and now I am putting together a content pack for some 3D content and need to add some home made patterns to the preset manager for some over lay effects.
I see the files are .pat files and tried to save a neat texture I made using an image my friend took of some fungus (trust me it looks cool ) using the GIMP 2.2 and then browsed to the new file in PS-CS and tried to load it up and got an error message that it was corrupt.
I have made several presets in ACR (CS3 on XP pro) and I'd like to save them out to share with friends or use on other computers, is there any way of doing this?. I know it can be done with Lightroom, so I'm guessing theres a way with CS3 ?
