All seems very very familar...similar etc and not asking it to do anything out of the ordinary which 11+ couldnt cope with ( just nowadays using all this AVCHD malaky etc )
Question -Main menu of my dvd - Why am I getting on my main menu page the begininings of my movie!!! I have my main menu setup ( bringing in a pre-made 30second clip on which I will put 'Press Play to watch movie' and/or 'chapter select'. ) When i preview my main menu page...I see the 30second clip i wanted but as it runs so too does my actual movie - at the same time.
I cant seem to find a button to ..basically..tell it not to play the movie as soon as you load the dvd but instead to wait until the 30 second main menu runs and automatically reruns etc until YOU decide to press the 'Play movie' button.
Photoshop Elements :: Selecting Sub Menu From Within Main Drop Down Menu
Jun 15, 2013When selecting a sub menu from within a main drop down menu the arrow points to the right but the actual sub menu pops up on the left in most cases. I have only noticed this recently and wonder if I have inadvertently messed up a setting as in the past I cant recall this being so but I don't use the editor a lot so may be mistaken.

Jun 26, 2010I recently loaded AutoCAD Architecture 2008 and the menu tabs for File, Edit, Window etc were all missing. They are replaced with a tab that says M-Color 9.5. When i load the program with older files (from this morning) the menu tabs are there but then they disappear. How do i get them back?
Also in addition to that my toolbars are gone, but i can recover those when i have my tool bars.

Apr 2, 2012Working in ACA 2012 on a Windows 7 machine. Noticed that pinning documents in the "Recent Documents" under the main menu is acting goofy. If I pin a document (so that it presumably stays there no matter what) and then open other drawings, the pinned drawing gets pushed down the list just like any other. Eventually, it gets pushed off the list just like all the others.
Is there a system variable I'm not aware of that controls this feature? Or is this just a bug, but since this feature is rarely used no one has noticed it?

I'm experiencing a problem on BOTH systems where the main menu is missing a row of pixels (see image below). Both systems are running Windows XP Pro SP3. I have Open GL disabled on both systems. The weird thing is the missing row of pixels comes and goes while I'm using the application. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?

Sep 25, 2012Everything is calibrated. That is not an issue.
When I work the photo (JPG, TIFF or PSD) to where it is what I want, the preview is darker in the print preview. Probably one f/stop in photo terms. And, THIS is how it actually prints.
What is causing that? And, is there a fix?
None of the "show paper color," etc. are checked, so that is not causing the difference.
AutoCAD 2010 :: Express Tools Menu Won't Stay In Menu Bar After Restart
May 1, 2012I recently upgraded to 2012 but forgot to install the express tools, Doh!. I installed them through control panel repair and everything works. Except when I close and restart ACAD the menu bar express menu disappears. I can bring it back by using cuiload but this is not ideal. Any way to get it to stick?

AutoCad :: DWT Edit From Contextual Explorer Menu
Jul 30, 2012I would like to edit the dwt file extension in explorer to add an option in the contextual menu' to open it in acad for editing it. At the moment I can only open it, but it actually opens a copy.So I would like two options:
OPEN a copy (default behaviour)
EDIT the template (optional)
I hate the need to open a copy and then go through all the process of "save a copy as dwt".I have win7 - LibreOffice has similar options for their templates (new/open).
AutoCad :: 2013 Edit Pulldown Menu Gone?
Apr 29, 2013The 'Edit' pulldown menu is missing from my version AutoCAD 2013. Additionally, the commands found in that pulldown are disabled, so 'undo' 'copy' 'paste' and etc are all non functional. The 'View' 'Format' 'Insert' 'Tools' pulldowns are also missing. Everything in the ribbon, also gone.
The problem occurred when CAD froze and I had to restart the computer. CAD was really laggy beforehand. Besides that everything was normal.
I tried repairing and reinstalling with the original disk with the same issues. Do I need to do an uninstall/reinstall? It's not the MENUBAR command, and the CUI command comes up with an error saying it cannot be located.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Edit Drop Down Menu Hotkeys?
Jan 9, 2014Is there any way to edit these underlined letters "hotkeys" in the inventor drop down menus? Having to add lots of leader lines and such to multiple weld symbols get old. Or is there a way to make a key alias to do this? I have not been able to find where this is done in inventor. Ive done it many times in CADD.

Sep 25, 2012Now that I know how to get my screen menu to appear, I would like to edit the standard screen menu to one I replaced it with in previous versions. In the past, I would edit Acad.mns or Acad.mnu and replace the screen menu section with my new screen menu.
Now Acad.mns and mnu don't exist and I presume I have to customize Acad.cuix, except I can't find any reference to screen menus in the cui editor to be able to customize the screen menu.

Jul 19, 2013A co-worker scanned a photo and emailed it to me to edit it and try to improve it, but everything I want to do is grayed out so I can't select it and I can't figure out why. Maybe it has to do with how she scanned it?
It's CMYK, 300 dpi, and 8 bit.
I'd like to sharpen it and adjust the hue/saturation, but they're grayed out.
why this is happening and how I can work around this so I can make the changes I need to make?

I very much dislike that AutoDesk made it so easy to edit the project wide description lines and left almost no way to customize the per-drawing section in the same way. One would think if you making a product to fill the need of many industries you would add a way to customize it from vanilla?
Photoshop :: Edit Menu Is Greyed Out
Apr 8, 2013I have Photoshop CS5 extended and a Mac with OSX 10.6.8. I was altering the 1st and only layer in my .psd file by filling areas with the "content aware" setting. (The background is blank.) It was working great, too! Then suddenly the "fill" selection under "edit" was greyed out, as well as most of the other things on the edit menu. It doesn't matter what I try to select in that layer.
I shut down Photoshop and restarted my computer, but it didn't work. Duplicating the layer didn't work, either. I CAN fill and stroke in the background layer.

Aug 13, 2011I just purchased the Video Studio X4. I have a good feel for the program but how to edit the sub menu titles. I have a 2 1/2 hour video and I use multi-trim to edit it. I tried to edit the title of each segment but cannot figure it out. When I go into Blu-ray authoring and choose any template, I can edit the main menu fine. When I go to edit and then customize I cannot change the submenu titles. When I double click on "untitled" or "chapter 1" or "chapter 2" I can only change the font size.
Do I have to save each clip from multi-trim and name it and then re-import it?

Mar 25, 2013I was busy designing an advert for work, happily adding layer styles to text as per usual and when I was busy selecting a colour for the gradient overlay my colour picker menu froze.I can still select colours and photoshop is still active (if i move my cursor about the screen the menu buttons still work but all the options are greyed out so I can't even save and restart) but I can't escape the menu. Neither the "Cancel" button or the "Ok" button are working, the "x" button isn't working and hitting escape doesn't work either. When I try and click anything in the menu I get an error "ping" and photoshop opens the adobe Photoshop web page but if I click on the canvas my cursor becomes the ink dropper and selects the color.
Is there some other way I can get out of the layer menu without restarting and losing all my progress?
