I tried installing an extension ("Dr Browns Services") from inside Photoshop CC. The install hangs. I cancelled and entered Adobe Extension Manager CC and it simply hangs on launch. I can get out of it with a forced quit. Meanwhile Photoshop itself is quite stable.How can I un freeze Adobe Xtension Manager CC?

I am trying to install the Pixel Bender filter for CS5 but I can't open the Extension Manager. I have tried to open it as the Administrator. I also reinstalled the Extension Manager from the Adobe Exchange site. I keep getting the following message:

This afternoon, from Photoshop CS6, I purchased and extension through Adobe extension drop down menu called EDGE FX. It will not install. As I attempt to do so, it does not list the Photoshop product (only Illustrator, Flash, Premiere, etc).
Here are some screen shots of the dialog boxes I copied. How do I manage to get this downloaded into Photoshop? Note in the last of the three screenshots, Photoshop doesn't appear as an option. I went into manager and a drop down menu doesn't give that option either. However, the description of the extension describes it as a tool to add interesting boarders to photos. Therefore, it must be a Photoshop extension.
I am trying to install a script (.mxp) (Windows). When I double click the .mxp file the Adobe Extensions Manager CS4 opens but I get a permissions error. "You do not have appropriate permissions.." I am the administrator and I have made sure the file has full permissions. I have tried to move the file to different locations also.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a full and functioning version of Photoshop 6 extended on my MacBook Pro with mountain lion 10.8.3. I installed a new hybrid hard drive a few days ago. I had backed up my computer to an external hard drive via Super Duper. I recopied to the new hard drive and everything seemed to be working properly. My problem is I have a new configurator panel from a third party that I am trying to install and the extension manager that comes with the downloaded file won't install it on a copy of Photoshop 6 that's on my operating hard drive. I can make changes to Photoshop 6 on the backup drive. Somehow it seems that signals a been crossed. There are some folders in the application support folder that I transferred from the backup drive to the laptop drive but that didn't work either. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop 6?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to install a plug-in from PSKiss to Photoshop CS5 (version 12.0.4). I'm using Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5, and I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop.
Although I'm following up with PSKiss to see if there's a problem at this end, I also see an issue with Adobe Extension Manager. When I open it, the Install button is grayed-out. I can see neither of the plug-ins I've already installed in Photoshop, nor can I install anything new. I am running Adobe Extension Manager as Administrator.
Also, yes, I'm using my laptop with an Administrator account.

I've just installed Extension Manager Update 6.0.5.9 yesterday and today I've get a wired problem with my bambo tablet.I've used this tablet for 3-4 years without problem. The problem I've now is when I drag lasso tool on an image to make selection it doesn't make a selection even it is showed in the history state that I've used lasso,or magnetic lasso.
My machine is a Mac Pro 2010,Quad-Core Intel Xeon running on Lion 10.7.5 and my bamboo driver is the latest version 5.3.2-2. Even now I've change to use freeform path I've still cannot change form path to selection.
My snap to extension feature is not working, and I'm looking to see why. In my object snap menu the extension is selected, and aside from that I'm not sure what else it could be other than bugging out.
The extention line (green dashed) will usually (but not always) show up in the vertical direction but almost never in the horizontal axis.
I have just upgraded from Map 2009 to 2012 4-bit and many of my lisp programs using map functions do not work. Is there an explanation for this and is there a new "catalog" of data extension function and such available somewhere?

For example, when drawing a simple rectangle after drawing (2) sides, If I go to snap to my initial starting point to show a vertical extension line to intersect with my third line I am drawing, the vertical extension will not show up, even though the horizontal extension line is visible, and even though it snaps to the my starting point to where I wish have the polar tracking show the vertical extension.

I haven't had any problem in the previous two months. I also was just build two weeks ago, and had to update my billing information. I tried online chat, after 30 minutes of typing, I've been disconnected twice. The funny thing is, Photoshop CC does open, and it works fine. I'm on a Mac running the latest operating system and hardware.

I am using Layer States Manager in CAD2010 and have run into this problem.
I inserted an XREF into my drawing which is using LMAN. I put the XREF on a layer that is visible for the current layer state I am in. Saved the drawing then another coworker opened it and the xref was no longer visible. Even though the layer settings show as not frozen or locked the XREF won't show. If I move it onto a layer that is showing in the layer state manager it still doesn't show. I'm not sure if this is just a glitch or if I have some some setting set incorrectly.
Also are others have problems with LMAN not working after drawings are opened by someone else in the office? Are the LMAN settings not universal?
I am having an issue with the Properties Manager in AutoCAD 2013 LT.
When a single object is selected, the dropdown appears blank and the properties displayed are just the default drawing properties that are displayed when nothing is selected.I am unable to view/modify any object's (line, hatch, etc) properties.
My PICKFIRST variable is set to 1. This happens on any file I open with 2013 LT but does not when the same file is opened with 2007 LT. I have also reinstalled/repaired the program through the control panel. I am at a complete loss.
When I click on Layer Properties Manager, I do not get the layers palette. The same goes for typing layerpalette in command.

The samples provided in the SDK detailed how to load /unload extension from a menu item from Illustrator, and how to add / remove EventListeners to make the magic happen.
to sum up, this is something like that:
1- click on the menu item
2- load extension
3- add listeners
4- do your stuff......
5- remove listeners
6- unload extension
Basically my plugin is a module/service which is in charge of dealing with / modifying artwork tree. It has no User Interface.
My extension will have a user of this service.
What I would like to do is to load my extension as soon as my plugin is loaded, and unload the extension when the plugin will be unloaded.
Or notify when extension is loaded or unloaded.
Is that possible and hw could I achieve that?
My detail component manager in AutoCAD Architecture 2011 was working fine until I installed Revit 2013 on it (as part of Building Design Suite 2013). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling MS .Net framework, but it has not worked.

For example: I have Russell Brown's extensions: - Adobe Edit in ACR and Flypaper Pro, which is supposed to show a colored icon with the letters ACR and the other a colored icon with a picture of a fly. Now for these extensions, it shows a pictures of LEGOs - I guess that's Adobe's icon for a plug-in. All of these extensions are showing in: Window>Extensions. What's going on? View 8 Replies View Related I have a pc with Windows 7 Home Premium Edition, 64 bit and a Raedeon (<sp?) processor.
Recently I downloaded a trial period for Adobe Photoshop CS6.
I made a New Folder when I downloaded the software ~ if that means anything.
My problem is that I need to save files as .eps but when I go to Save As it is not listed. I checked the list of extensions and Ps does have it available. So, I am beside myself wondering why it is not in my drop down list of extensions.
I have searched the FAQ's to no avail. However, I am not certain I have been asking my question in a manner in which I would be able to narrow down a relative result.
I upgraded to CS6 and when I choose File -->Open, the .psd extension is not available as a filter in the drop-down list to allow me to view only .psd files when making my selection of which file to open.
I am on Windows Vista 64-bit.Have I overlooked a preference setting? This was an available choice in CS5.
if cs3 photoshop will open an .trd file extension. i have found that cs2 did....but i cant get the new one to do it.
