Unfortunately I could't find a solution for this problem all over the internet, so I have to ask it from the community.
I'm creating the channel design for my YouTube channel, and I want to make a small part coming out of the channel frame (that noisy gray frame on the channels where the view and subscriber count are shown), but I don't know how to create a similar effect. Additionally, is there a correct name for that section?
Just made sure updates for the video card and all the hardware were current and still getting this problem where when I go to adjust a channel of video a random frame from the below channel will insert itself into the clip that I just moved as if it was married into the source footage.

I tried every single way to try to extend the with of the hole body but it's not working in any way The problem is its a solid body which looks like a rectangle shape frame,and i made it as a hole union which i cant simply extend the top and the bottom widths.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am a screen printer and I print my separations from Photoshop. I routinely work with multi channel files or RGB files with additional spot color channels. I have created actions to place my registration marks, re-size images, etc to get ready to print but I manually have to create the text labels for each screen if they are missing from the original artwork.
The files I work with have channels named as "Base White, Red, Green, 284 Blue" etc indicating the ink color. What i would like to be able to do is click an action that would copy the text from the channel name and insert it into a separate or each/all channels near the top of the file so that when I print each positive it has a corresponding label for ink color.
I am not sure if this is even possible, and I am limited on my knowledge when it comes to actions and have pretty much got lucky in the past getting them to do what I want without unnecessary steps.
On my registration target action it creates a new channel with each individual reg mark then combines them into one separate channel in which I just copy the contents and select all the ink channels and fill with black to make them appear, i'm happy with the steps it takes as it isn't too much trouble and if this could do the same with labels I would be happy with that.
How can I get the channel subassembly to attach to the assembly insertion point at the channel flowline marker? I need the flowline to follow my profile elevations.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn CS6, I cannot find the option to extend the duration of my photoshop document. I am using Photoshop to make a short hand-drawn animated film. Currently, the document is 300 frames long, but I would like to extend that to 400 frames. (I'm working in timeline mode, not frame mode.)
I could easily change the duration of a document in CS5 by clicking on the little drop-down menu in the top right corner of the animation panel, then going to "Document Settings" where I could change the duration and the frame rate. When I click the drop-down in CS6, I find the frame rate option, but no duration.
I need to somehow extend the texture in the background of this picture to cover the white space. I've exhausted my photoshop knowledge (which isn't that much to start of with) and cant get anything that looks realistic enough, it just looked really fake and out of place.

The part I added looks different. Is it possible to extend to background to cover that area. I have tried using Clone, but it looks awful, I just don't know how to use it right.

when you are zoomed out and you see the grey area around your canvas so that you can start gradients out in that area. Well, when you are zoomed in you can't extend into that area.

I create animated gifs frequently using the Frame Animation pallet. The default frame rate starts out as 10 seconds, so I always have to change it to 4 seconds. Is there anyway to reset the default frame rate that I start out with to 4 seconds, so that I don't have to change it every time?
Preferences did not yield any promising menus
I know the standard default reset with many Adobe products is to change it without a document open, but in PS CS5.5 if you do not have a document open the frame rate option is greyed out

View 2 Replies View RelatedI record video tutorials about Photoshop (so, screen captures) and edit/combine the clips inside Photoshop CS6 in Win 7/64; Photoshop's new video talent is nice. I record 852x480px at 15 fps with FastStone Capture and save in WMV. I want to show the finished video tutorial on Youtube. There are several things baffling me when editing video in Photoshop CS6.
My original records (according to MediaInfo):

The result looks very nice when i play it locally in VLC. It looks like the original WMV. But: When i upload the Photoshop-version to YouTube, the video looks very badly "upsampled" and blurred. It looks much worse than the uploaded WMV original. If you like, you can compare the two videos from the same source online:

Rendered in Photoshop CS6, looking bad (set player to 480 p): URL.....I do like the resolution of 852x480 and would like to keep it. If not possible, i have to record tutorials in 1280x720, even though icons and menus look too small. So far i have not tested it.
I searched my folder C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAdobedynamiclinkmediaserver1.0. There is a lot in it which i don't understand, but some file names include "MPEG", "AVI", "Adobe QT Server" etc. I think there is no Quicktime installed on my machine; i try to avoid it as it does many different things to the system and is obnoxious.
My questions:
- When aiming for a YouTube cast, could i stay with 852x480 (at 15 fps), or doesn't it make sense? (I like that size.) If 852x480 is not ok, what is the lowest resolution for getting good looking presentations on Youtube?
- Why does the Adobe Media Encoder in my Photoshop CS6 only offer the formats H.264 and DPX? Can i get more? (Free, pay.)
- Do i need to install Quicktime? How could i do this with less intrusive QT behaviour?
- Should i record more fps in FastStone Capture? (I don't find more fps necessary when looking at the original and when looking at the uploaded *original*.)

The video is only 3:45, so it doesn't exceed 10 minutes, I uploaded videos successfully when I had the trial version and whenever I try to upload it to youtube on the purchased version, it gives me the error above, and does not put the video on youtube, what is the problem?
I am editing a short avi clip converted from a 1959 8mm film in the timeline. The telecine conversion results in as sharp an image as I have manged to get using PPro 5.5 unsharp mask. I tried mocha planar tracking to automatically remove a fixed spider web on the top edge of each frame in the clip.
Because the web is not distinct and the background does not progress at a steady fixed pace, the mocha procedure was not successful. Previous feedback recommended methods to mask the edge. Using various masking attempts to automate the procedure was also unsuccessful for the same reasons as mocha.
I have the time and decided to replace the spider web on each frame edge using photoshop tools e.g. clone stamp etc. - although other tools such as healing brush do not appear to work in the timeline as I expect.
My saves so far have resulted in a whole clip being saved with all following frames being modified similar to the first edited frame. Perhaps I am not using the editing procedures in photoshop from the timeline correctly.
How do I save frame by frame in the timeline?
My band has just recorded our first music video. We are very happy with the result except that the glasses on me (the lead singer) during the close-ups look very funny, they are very skew, and the "frame" does not go behind the ear.
What I would like to do is to import the video and edit these clips frame by frame, where this is showing. There is about 15 seconds totally of me in close-up - 15 x 24= 360 images. The clips are about 1-3 seconds long. And I want to edit all of these short clips of me and then make it a full-length video again.
I made a quick edit on one of the images from the video. The shades still look a little funny but it gets better when the frame goes behind the ear. If it's possible to correct the "glass" part of the shades as well.
I'm now running X5, I must say it is much faster. However, when I try to upload to youtube there is a 15 minute limit and the only option I have is to let it clip the video to 15 minutes or cancel (i.e. I can't render the video and then cancel the upload and do it manually because it CLIPPED the output to 15 minutes)
So, I try to create a template to use for Create Video File so it will match my other uploads. I can't set the frame width and height. Without a template the Create Video File, mp4 etc... the default is 1920x... In the Make Movie Template the highest I can set it is 720x... the custom size is greyed out. I don't understand (and maybe I don't know) why I can't set the video parameters to anything I want them to be. Why is 720x the highest available...
In X5... Is there a way to turn off the 15 minute limit? Is there a way to HACK and turn off the limit? Is there a way to create the videos and set the settings where I want them so they match my previous uploads?
Note, the "cancel the upload after file created" trick no longer works. If you think I can create a template, why I can't set the parameters.
My YouTube-account is upgradet for files ut to 20gb, and naturally longer than 15min. But my Corel VideoStudio PRO x4 does not want me to automaticly upload longer files than 15 minutes.
