View 6 RepliesI am migrating to a new pc desktop, from PSCS 3 to 6. My script is returning Error 48, File or Folder does not exist. Here is the statement: @include " C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)PresetsScriptsogArt ScriptsFunctions.js"
I can use same path in a command window and the DIR command finds the file. I can see it using Explorer.
I believe a dwg I am trying to access is affected by the acad.vlx virus as an alert comes up to check autodesk for solution (ID: TS13717811) however the published solution doesn't seem to work for the latest version of AutoCAD LT 2012 as it asks me to access a file in the support folder which doesn't exist on my system.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a scene which on one machine will cause error (and crash max) when trying to open it (last time I did that -2 days ago - it was OK) but on a different PC with less mwmory - it will open nicely.
Also - I tried opening backup file from the same folder - error and crash.Files from other projects open nicely as well.
I even thought about memory issues (PC is 4 months old and does not cause any problem)I tried merging it - crash..I tried merging some objects - in some cases it was OK but mostly - crash.
Again - When I opened it on a different PC - it causes no issues.
When I tried to install the photosohop CS5, the below errors keep prompting out.

When I try to create a new font style using the standard Autodesk Swiss fonts, I get the message "font file doesn't exist". I can see that the fonts are in the AutoCAD fonts folder and that I have a file path set to that folder.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to run a parcel area report generator, and I get the above error message, along with the path xslParcel_Area.xsl and an advisory to reinstall the program.
I think it is pointing to the full path location of C:ProgramDataAutodeskC3D 2012enuDataReportsxsl.
The file (Parcel_Areas.xsl) exists in this location.
NONE of the parcel reports that I tried to execute work - they all return the same grammtically painful error message.

I've never seen this before and am trying not to panic, but I'm on a deadline! LOL And am running behind as usual!
I am using an older mac, and I'm pretty dang maxed out on Gb...gotta clean up some files, but having a hard time finding a free dup file finder for macs...so I'm procrastinating, basically. Could the fact that I've got very little Gb available left have something to do with this?
In Library module/Folders right click and show parent folder I get the following error
An Internal error has occured: Database .. columns rootFolder, pathFromRoot are not unique
Statement: UPDATE AgLibraryFolder SET rootFolder = ? WHERE id_local = ?;
This error occurs on all folders that I have checked.
I have tried to open lightroom and perform an integrity check which did not report any errors.
Yes, I do backup the catalogue but when this problem developed...
I have been re-saving many of my PSD files using CS3 image prosesssor with compatibility mode turned off. They have simply been saved again as PSD files into a different folder - no changes to the original PSD files. This has worked well and reduced file sizes by up to 50% (I had compatibility mode turned on previously).
of the 60 files I have processed, 3 will no longer open , I get a message that says "file will not open due to a program error."
these files have only ever been used in CS3. , they are quite large
from just under 1GB to 1.5GB, however other similar large files have processed successfully. I have re-tried without success.
I still have the original files so no data loss is involved.
I am reorganizing my file structure in LR4. I can move jpegs from one folder to another but I get an error message when I try to move the NEF files. I saw another discussion that mentioned that Lightroom has a problem moving NEF files. I don't have a large collection yet (less than 10,000 images) but I have made extensive edits on many of the shots so I don't want to import them from scratch again.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just purchased Corel PaintShop Pro x4 today. At the beginning of installation, a box pops up and says: "The feature you are trying to use is on a netwok resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "vcredist.msi" in the box below."
Nothing works when I change the destination folder, and when I finally click "cancel" another box pops up saying: "Error 1714. The older version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Reditributable cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group."
This warning pops up from time to time as I migrate my LR 3 picture folders from an internal hard drive on an iMac to an external hard drive. The folders and all the images show up on the external hard drive O.K. and are accepted by the LR 3 database.A greyed folder with zero files remains behind on the internal hard drive in the LR 3 application Folder.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with the Temp File folder. I know that photoshop cs4 uses a lot of scratch disk space and I have about 250 gbs of free space on the hard drive. I am working with very large files that exceed 4GBs at times and the free space on the hard drive is alway diminishing. Should i delete the temp files or is there a way to set how much data gets stored in the folder? Another question is, should i assign other drives for scratch disk space? i have 3 other hard drives but they are not as fast as the system hd. and if you have tips on tuning the computer for better performance would be greatly appreciated. The set up is among the following lines:ASUS motherboardIntel quad core 2.33 ghzand 32gb of RAMNvidia 9800gt
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen no file name is specified, Photoshop saves file to the root directory of the drive instead of the current folder. It auto names the image with the name of the folder that was active. Can this be fixed?
I was using "save for web"--not sure if it that matters.
I'm currently getting the "1324 Error. The folder path 'My Documents' contains an invalid character."
when trying to run AutoCad 2010. It had been working fine previously, but now it gives this error and won't allow me to use it. I am also unable to uninstall or reinstall the program without getting the same error.
I have confirmed that the profile is not set to roaming. I have also tried deleting the registry entries as recomended here:

Sometimes CS3 is too much for the task. Can the 2 peacefully co-exist on the

Once I used Photoshop 7, my Windows XP can review the thumbnail of the .PSD files. I can see the images from the folder and don't need to open them from Photoshop. But after I installed Photoshop CS3, the PSD files can't review in XP folder anymore. The thumbnails are the logo of PSD and I can't see the images without opening the CS3. How can I make PSD file review as the thumbnails in the XP folder?

View 2 Replies View RelatedToday as a precautionary measure I downloaded the Adobe font test to do a scan on my fonts to see if any is corrupt. The test showed that all my fonts passed. 3 questions though:
1. Does the script work with photoshop CC?
2. Could I just delete the font test jsx file from the folder when I am done with the test? Or should I keep it there?
3. During the initial process, I was unable to proceed and got an error message "failed to get path for font cache files". As such I unticked the clear font caches to proceed. Would this have affected the results?
80% of the time I want to save my workfiles to a specific folder (i am quite organized when it comes to Creative Suite files) and I wondered:
Is there anyway to tell PS to go to that specified folder when I want to save, and not try to save into the folder where I found the last source picture?
When I want to print a contact sheet, I need the files pictures in the file name order. Elements 9 had this feature.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I scan old film to create digital files, I put them in a folder with the file name ending in a sequential number ( 1, 2, 3, etc). Sometimes, when I open the folder to work on the image files in Photoshop Elements 11, I find the files list in the proper sequential order, but other times, especially when I have recently had some files open, the files will be listed in the order that I last opened them. How can I force PSE 11 to always list them in numerical order upon opening the folder?
