From within, is it possible to enter ACR with the image in PS CS6? I need to bypass most of ACRs options when I input a Raw image and would like to go back to ACR after limited processing. I know that I can output the file and re-load it but that is not efficient. I'd like to include the second ACR pass in an action if possible.
PSPRo X.I double click on a jpg image in my pics (XP home) and it shows in the workspace.I click on the "A" text tool and then the background title of the image changes to vector 1.A horizontal blue bar at the top shows with "text entry and a x in it.Right clicking on the image does not do anything, the tools on the left are greyed out.I am unable to enter any text on the image.
I seem to recall reading something that indicated you could get back to ACR after you have made some changes in Photoshop? Â If so, under what circumstances does it work, and which menu items get you there? Can you bring files into a plugin, and then get back to ACR after returning to PS? Â I have CS5.1 (with the last patches to CS5.1).
I have a Toshiba laptop. When I use the type tool in photoshop, and press either the enter key on the alpha pad or the enter key on the number pad, it does not do a line break. It behaves as if I meant to finish using the type tool. I have flashed my bios and even completely reinstalled Vista (because it was having some other errors as well with Windows) and I still get the problem. Any suggestions?
i try 2 enter text on a image.. any image.. i get an error message Could not complete request because somethign prevented the text engine from initilized.
let's assume that i am writing my text for two buttons: a:hover and a:active statuses. i am entering the text "links" in the two different buttons (=images.) How do i make sure that the text is exactly in the same places and not entered randomly instead in each button? so that when i clic on the button the text is not "shifted" in some way, but remains in the same position (only the image changes. example button 1: /links button 2: /links
how do i make sure that the word "links" is exactly in the SAME position in both buttons?? thanks.
I've been using PS for a long time. I'm far from even beginner level, I'd say, but I know my way around well enough. I'm using PS CS6 on a Win 7 ENT machine.  If I open a new document, the text tool does nothing. If open a previously saved document, the text tool works just fine. So, I've taken to starting each new document by opening an older one, then modifying it.  Interestingly, in new doc, the text-entry point is exeedingly tiny and sits *inside* the upper left-hand resize box. In an previously opened file, it sits nicely in the upper left-hand corner of the box itself, patiently waiting at the preset font size.
I had to have the logic board on my Macbook Pro Retina replaced and now when I try to start Photoshop CS4 I get an error 150:30 "Licensing for this product has stopped working" but there is no option to re-enter my license key.  How can I re-register my copy of CS4 to my "new" computer?
On installation i clicked on trial because i couldnt find my serial number and then when i found my serial number i opened photoshop. cant figure out where i go to enter in my serial number so that its no longer doing a trial.
We cannot enter a caption on photos. This worked for us for thousands of photos in the past but now it ignores the text once we've entered the caption. It allows us to enter an appropriate caption but when we click outside the "caption" box it returns to "Click here to add caption."
Just upgraded to PS CS6, and am having a problem manually entering a value for the magnification level in the status bar (same goes for Navigator panel). Is it supposed to automatically zoom to the amount entered without hitting enter/return? For example, if I want 25%, the box will read 2%5 and tells me my value is invalid by the time I hit return (the document will go to 2% automatically before I hit the 5). I can find nothing on this anywhere online, and the documentation mentions typing a number then having to press enter/return. Is this a feature? A glitch? Can it be disabled/fixed?
I am running a Mac and small Cintiq with an on-screen keyboard (so typing speed is slow and screen area at a premium), and the button on the pen (set to be an 'option' key) sticks on occasion.
I downloaded a resume & cover letter template and I am not able to figure out how to delete information and modify existing information to customize these documents.Â
I cannot type in any numerical values whatsoever in any field, be it text size, brush size or even the size of a new document. I don't remember playing with any settings and I've already closed & opened PS several times and restarted my computer. Code:
im making an enter pager for my site and I already made the background so how would I add the two pictures I want and completely take the background out only leaving the characters and den pasting them on my background adding the name of my site and den da WORD ENTER umm so my frend told me to crop it so wat does this mean the cropping technique wat is it and how will I get this altogether!
I'm supposed to be designing copy using a specific color guide: C = 79.5, M = 50.4 etc etc. When I go to enter these values, Photoshop tells me I can only use whole numbers.
Whenever I am editing text and press Return or Enter, Photoshop highlights the 'Set the font family' in the top options bar.I cannot find a way in the keyboard shortcuts to change it.
This error message appears when I have the Direct Selection tool selected, but have not selected an object. Every time I press Enter I get the alert: "Could not complete your request because of a program error." It doesn't matter what file I have open. Â I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.5, 2.2 GHz, 16 GB memory. This is just one of several weird bugs I've encountered in CC.
I'm using Photoshop CS. I want to make a text, and then I press the enter button. But, instead of a second paragraph, the text overlays. How can I solve this problem?
One minute it was fine so I know I must have hit something, but I can't fix it. When I hit enter while adding text it will not skip a space, it goes back to the original start point and types over the existing text.
Is there any way to enter exact position coordinates ( x, y) and dimensions for objects in P'shop? For example, putting a photo in an exact position and sizing it by other than dragging handles with the mouse?
I'm using photoshop elements 2.0 and window vista. when i want to crop i cannot enter any values in the width and height boxes. the cursor won't enter. same thing with resolution.Â
