I cannot type in any numerical values whatsoever in any field, be it text size, brush size or even the size of a new document. I don't remember playing with any settings and I've already closed & opened PS several times and restarted my computer. Code:

I'm using photoshop elements 2.0 and window vista. when i want to crop i cannot enter any values in the width and height boxes. the cursor won't enter. same thing with resolution.Â
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using AutoCAD LT 2014. Whenever I open a drawing, I receive the error message, ** Undefined shape XX with XX representing different numbers (50, 120, and 53). According to the KB, This error message is typically displayed when a required font style is not available for use. The solution is to copy the fonts from another computer but my issue is, I don't have another computer with the working fonts.
Additionally, I am unable to enter any text into the drawing using the Single line or Multiline tool. From MTEXT, whenever I enter any letters, I receive the same error message ** Undefined shape XXX.

In the regional settings of my computer I show negative numbers in brackets instead of the minus sign in front of the number.
With these settings, I am unable to enter negative coordinates in my Corel draw. Corel changes them automatically into positive one.
I have to go to control panel - regional settings and set the negative format back to minus, before I am able to enter negative coordinates in Corel.

When I enter a value, such as 2.2, as the height in the Transform box, AI automatically changes the value (to 2.1944, in this case). Is there any way to fix this?
(I have deslected "Align New Objects to Pixel Grid" and have deleted the AIPrefs file. I am working with AI CC and Windows 7.)
I am scanning a large number of negatives using VueScan. Vuescan automatically creates the digital files in numerical order (if you use the proper settings) as they are scanned and places them in the proper folder. The process of scanning the negatives takes several days. Upon opening PSE 11, all the files should be in numerical order as created, but at times, PSE 11 will put today's files (say numbers 400 - 500) near the top of the list (like 001, 400, 401 etc, then 002, 003 etc) What is wrong? At other times everything is correct. Is there a way to correct this?

In the Info panel, the eyedropper tool displays percentages for every type of color information (K, CMYK), while the "8-bit" field remains blank.

Something like in AutoCAD that I can type in any number I want and Revit won't rescale i or change the distance between them.

I know that I could simply use AutoCAD instead of Revit but I find it easier in general  and I really want to learn it since I'm a student.Â
Often we have to re-type the same number (value) in the command line. Not the point coordinate triplet, but a single number as input, for example in Move Copy command.
I always wonder if there is a trick in AutoCAD to recall the previously typed-in number quickly and easily (apart from Ctrl+C Ctrl+V method).
Microstation does it very conveniently by pressing up and down arrows in Accu-draw dialog, and even places a graphical mark on the screen when cusor moves over the previously entered value.
in 2000 I was able to discover a command that allowed you to renumber a large selection of blocks in order. I have been searching for that command again every time I need to renumber a floor plan due to the addition of new spaces. What this command was and if it is still available in 2010? Â It would save a ton of time!

I have an attribute blocks and this att block has two tag values , is there a simple code for to change 1st tag values automaticly according to 2nd values ?
for example :
1st tag (50x50) - 2nd tag ( 100 )Â Â Â ==> 50x50-100
if i enter 201 valuse to 2nd tag then 1 st tag has to change as 100x100
if i enter 501 valuse to 2nd tag then 1 st tag has to change as 150x510

In autoCAD 2013 i have a sequence of multiple text fields e.g. (MP01, MP02, MP03, MP04..etc) i need to alter the numbers to other numbers. I used a command a few months ago but i cant remember what is was called! It selected the x/y direction and incremented the existing sequence to my chosen sequence (just incrementing the last numerical bits and leaving the text the same). Ive tried TCOUNT command and i couldn't get that to work with the text fields.

Currently I have a command in drawing express that increases the door number each time I paste it to allow easy door/window numbering with a prefix. We tend not to create window or door schedule from these we just need to be able to number them quickly without editing the text manually each time.

There used to be an old R14 LISP known as ADDTXT that I used that worked great for this.

I have CS5.1 (with the last patches to CS5.1).
I created a new blank file with 16 bit per channel mode.
I expect that RGB values would be three 16-bit numbers (0 to 65535) but when I try to manually enter a RGB value, each color is still 0 to 255.
From within, is it possible to enter ACR with the image in PS CS6? I need to bypass most of ACRs options when I input a Raw image and would like to go back to ACR after limited processing. I know that I can output the file and re-load it but that is not efficient. I'd like to include the second ACR pass in an action if possible.

When I use the type tool in photoshop, and press either the enter key on the alpha pad or the enter key on the number pad, it does not do a line break. It behaves as if I meant to finish using the type tool. I have flashed my bios and even completely reinstalled Vista (because it was having some other errors as well with Windows) and I still get the problem. Any suggestions?

If I open a new document, the text tool does nothing.If open a previously saved document, the text tool works just fine. So, I've taken to starting each new document by opening an older one, then modifying it.

Interestingly, in new doc, the text-entry point is exeedingly tiny and sits *inside* the upper left-hand resize box. In an previously opened file, it sits nicely in the upper left-hand corner of the box itself, patiently waiting at the preset font size.
I had to have the logic board on my Macbook Pro Retina replaced and now when I try to start Photoshop CS4 I get an error 150:30 "Licensing for this product has stopped working" but there is no option to re-enter my license key.  How can I re-register my copy of CS4 to my "new" computer?
