Photoshop Elements :: Unable To Save Edited Images
Mar 14, 2013
I am unable to save any edited images in the photoshop file format and also unable to save photobook or collage projects in ANY format. I am using Elements 9.0.2 on Mac OS X 10.6.8. Any solutions to these problems? (I have used the Catalog optimize & repair tools with no change).
I currently run Windows 7 and have Photoshop Elements 5. When I edit a photo it will not let me save it and comes up with a message "Cannot save due to program error". O have tried restarting the computer, reinstalling PE5, saving in a different location, Save As and NOTHING has worked.
I have Photoshop CS5 installed on my windows7 system. It was working all fine until last week. From last week, I am unable to save the photos that I edit in photoshop. Its like, I save them, but I do not find them anywhere, not in the folder I saved them nor anywhere else in the computer. I also tried saving the pics as a copy still no luck. This is a work environment.
If I use the Develop module in LR to edit CR2(Raw) images and want to complete the editing it in CS5 there is no option to 'edit a copy with lightroom adjustments'. I get the option with Jpeg images but not Raw. If I choose Edit in CS5 I just get the original file and not the one I have been working on. How do I ask LR to edit my developed image in CS5? I am usung CS5 and LR4.
Using Photoshop Elements 12, the photos I edit using any of the editing layers are not saved. Only the original appears in the organizer even though I have selected "version sets" in the saving process.
Having edited photographs in editor and saving the edited photograph, it says processing but does not save the edited version and i am left with the original.
Just upgraded from PSE 9 to PSE 12. Running Windows 7. After editing pic in Editor, I cannot save it to the Organizer in a version set or any other way. The edited pic does save to the computer folder where the pics are stored. Checked boxes include- Save as to original folder, Include in Element Organizer, Save in version set.
- does this program have an organizational feature to see pictures in a calendar format ..like older photo aalbum 3.2 had .. page for month showing dates like a typical calendar on wall would look like?
-- currently in media i have both original and edited versions of some pictures. Is there a way to delete the originals for the pones with edited images ?
We downloAded pics from walmart picture CDs edited them. Burnt the images to new DVDs tried to use them in the machines at walmart. To print machines don't read CDs.
I have successfully edited a number of RAW images in Expert Mode cannot find where to click to show that I have finished editing. The result is that I have a lot of images displaying a red band with a lock symbol showing that editing is still in progress and don't know how to let the system know that editing is complete.
I'm having trouble saving my image as a jpeg.i get an image in photshop to where i really like it and then i go to save it and it ruins it. The jpeg doesnt even look like what the image did before i edited it in photoshop.
i'm in color mode sRGB and i try to save it as a value of 10 and progressive.
I have a brand new MacBook Pro Retina Display 13" computer." I am unable to save my edits in Photoshop Elements 11. I get an error message stating that I do not have "write access." What does this mean? What can do or should do?
I previously organized and tagged a batch of raw photos using viewNX on my PC. The PC crashed and I am now trying to edit that same batch of photos with Elements 11 on my iMac. I am able to access the photos, but when I try to save my edits I receive the message, "Unable to save because write access was not granted." I am not on a networked computer, no one else has access to the photos, and the photos are not open in any other program. iMac and Elements 11 are new to me.
I am unable to import raw files to E11 from my Panasonic Lumix 200. I get a response that says "nothing imported - no supportive file types" also "can't complete request as file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by installed version of Camera raw". I think I understand that I need at least a 7.2 version and don't know what I have. The camera is a fairly recent model.
photoshop elements 12 - just purchased - i have followed all the corrective items

I recently upgraded to the Nikon D600. With that, I’m unable to open RAW images in the programs that I currently have (PS Elements 9). Does Photoshop Elements 11 have the correct software (Camera Raw 7 and higher)? Or will I need to get the full version Photoshop CS6?
I have edited some Raw photos in Adobe Photoshop CS5. The photo size is less than 5 MB, but while uploading them to the sites such as Picasso or Facebook, I get an error. Not a single photo is getting uploaded.
