May 29, 2009My whole computer freezes when i try saving a file in photoshop.So i reboot my computer. Now what the hell! I opened the file and it is only 1 black layer now!It took me days working on it.It is for a client. The file size still states 300mbs,when using Photoshop to open it, i still see a small thumbnail preview of it.but i just can't get all the layers back! Any solutions on this?

Its like, I save them, but I do not find them anywhere, not in the folder I saved them nor anywhere else in the computer. I also tried saving the pics as a copy still no luck. Jun 3, 2012Well, it looks like I edited an image in ProPhoto RGB and now when I save as JPEG I get a color change (always looks warmer, like a change in white balance.)
When I convert to another profile, the color change. Is there anyway to either convert and get my colors back or as to JPEG with the color's I'm getting in photoshop? What is odd is I'll see a nice white background in PS and even in the thumbnail. But if I open it in anything but PS I get color change.

Mar 19, 2013When opening my jpeg photos in Photoshop elements 9, once saved elements seems put the image in a format that my Apple Mac isn't compatible with. So when I then try and upload the images to Facebook or other software in a bulk upload the images are highlighted and I therefore can't select them and upload.

Jul 15, 2013I'm having problems opening photoshop CS3 after a clean install. I have deactivated my CS3 product on my old computer, that run on windows XP. With my DVD installed on my new computer that runs on windows 7. After the installation, I tried to open photoshop to activate. When the program stats to open and freezes almost instantly. I have to open the task manager to close the program that appears not responding.
My new computer is a Workstation, S5000XVN Intel motherboard, 24 Gb of Ram, NVidea Quadro 2000.
GIMP :: How To Delete Edited Photos From Computer
Sep 3, 2013I edited some photos today using GIMP 2.8.
I am now unable to delete the edited photos, rename the edited photos, or move the edited photos to another folder. Basically, they are stuck in their spot. I'm not even able to pull up the "Properties" selection from right-clicking the edited photo.
I tried to open them using IrfanView, but when I go to delete the photo using that program, it makes it not respond.
I can open the photo up in Paint, save it as a different format, and delete it - but the original edited photo is still there.
How can I move and delete edited photos? I've never ran into this problem in all the years I've been using GIMP.
