View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a task I have been attempting to complete for some time now. I am trying to turn my scanned pencil drawing into a digital painting with Photoshop.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm in a trial Photoshop Elements 12 til my copy arrives from amazon.com. I want to get into photo to pencil drawing. There is no problem importing the photo subject. After watching repeated you-tube how to I can't seem to get a layer.
Â
I must of bought the wrong version for photos to pencil drawings.Â
Would you like to draw a pencil sketch? You are not good at drawing? Well, it doesn’t matter,
Step 1: Open your image in Photoshop, Choose Image->Adjustment->Desaturate (or Ctrl+Shift+U by default) to make the photo to black-and-white.
Step 2: Click Layer-> Duplicate Layer, duplicate the background as background copy.
Step 3: Use Image->Adjustment->Invert (or Ctrl+I by default), then the image will look like a negative.
Step 4: From the layer palette, set the blending options as Color Dodge.
Step 5: Choose Filter->Blur->Guassian Blur, set the radius 4 pixels.
Step 6: Don’t forget to merge the layer at last. So, everything is done!
My buddy(tattoo artist) has a pencil drawing that he wants cleaned up, and printed for a tattoo.
Other than all the manual goodies are there any quicker methods? He has a big ol stack of drawings and I dont want to work on them all if I have to do everything touch up here and touch up there.
How do I turn off anti-aliasing for the pencil tool in Photoshop CS6. I want to draw a single pixel. I do not want to draw a shape or a line. I do not want additional low-opacity pixels on either side.
Â
I set the pixel size to 1 and hardness to 100%. The pencil tool produces an anti-aliased line. I do not want this.
In any case, I have a drawing I did with a pencil, and then I scanned it. Now, I want to scan it, and then paint over it. I have figured out how to paint over the scan, but I am not producing the result I want.
I have attached my scanned image, and the painting. My issue is, I want to have a digital feel to my painting; that is, I want to get rid of the penciling. I am wondering how to accomplish this. I am hoping that I won't have to manually ink the picture.
Here is the "feel" I am going for [URL] ....
I am creating pages where I add elements and they are all resizing to clip to the page size. Very annoying. Can this be turned off?

View 12 Replies View RelatedI made an assembly, placed a part and a sketch and constrained it, the first assembly file.
I want to turn it over, like in the second assembly.
The matemate and mateflush options in the constrain dialog box yield the same result, unlike in the tutorial:

When I edit a part directly in an assembly, clicking on 'edit sketch' (frequently) changes the view from the one I had set while looking at the assembly. Is ther any way to turn this OFF?

Can we write a macro (button Click) to turn one perticular Sketch on and off???
For example If I had a Sketch named as GROUNDFLOOR, Â can I use a macro to turn them off and on when needed?
I have three sketches. Two are 2D sketches and the third is a 3D sketch created by the intersection of two surfaces created from the previous two 2D sketches. The order of the browser is as follows:
Sketch1
Sketch2
Revolution (surface)
Extrusion (surface)
3D Sketch 1
When I go back to edit Sketch 2, Sketch 1 is always showing...regardless of whether or not I turn on/off visibility. The visibility toggle has no effect. Sketch 2 has no projected geometry from Sketch 1.
ACA2011My dimensions seem to be fickle with regard to snaping. I've got my OSNAPs on, and I can't snap to a structural beam above, nor can I snap to a window sill. I can dim to the mid point of the window sill by using .x & .y filters, and can only snap to the axis line on a beam. Is there a toggle somewhere?
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust started up Elements 11 and the same issue as one month ago happened. All tools show up as a pencil, wether I want to select, clone, resize, doesn't matter, I only can draw a line. Last time I spend a whole night online with support and I had to de-install Elements and re-install.
But I really do not feel like this is how a system should work that every month I have to reinstall the program.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've managed to cobble this code together to turn some sketch visibilities on and off. However, what I'd really like to do is have a single sketch containing some blocks, and turn the visibility of the blocks on and off... How to call the blocks -

For Each oSketch In oDoc.ComponentDefinition.Sketches Select Case
oSketch.NameCase "Front Edged"If E01 = True Then
oSketch.Visible = TrueElse oSketch.Visible = FalseEnd IfCase "Top Edged"If E02 = True Then

I have seen the photos to sketch tutorials before, but on the front of espn.com right now, I'm not sure if those are up the same alley or if they are drawings of those players on the front page.

When I clicked on it and touched on the canvas all I got was a 'No Entry' sign and a messeage that read "Could not use History Brush because current canvas size does not match that of history state."
