View 3 RepliesI'm in a trial Photoshop Elements 12 til my copy arrives from amazon.com. I want to get into photo to pencil drawing. There is no problem importing the photo subject. After watching repeated you-tube how to I can't seem to get a layer.
I must of bought the wrong version for photos to pencil drawings.
I haven't found a way to turn a color photo into a Black & White outline drawing in Corel PhotoPaint X5.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI seem to cannot find NOTHING on Google, I need the color notation for the pencil lead color... a standard pencil lead color... what is the notation for that color!!!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am starting with a scanned pencil drawing, which often has very broken, rough lines, no matter how dark or clean I try to draw. I am looking to turn these lines into clean, solid lines, of one uniform color, for use in another program which relies on completed loops and no breaks in lines.
I've tried tools such as Trace Contour, but this isn't doing quite what I'm looking for. I'm very new to Photoshop, so I'm hoping there is something I am missing. Something like the magnetic lasso would work wonders, if only I could brush that line instead of making a selection.
drawing a solid lines with the pencil tool?
It seems like I have to zoom way in on elements and go real slow to shift-draw lines with the pencil tool.
Pencil remains black no matter what forground color I have... There must be a simple setting I am missing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI like to brush over penciled drawings, now the problem i have is that the pencils tend to not show up as clearly after being overpainted. Can i copy the pencil drawing off the background, and after brushing the other layers fix it onto them, so the pencil lines show up clearly? if yes, how would i have to do this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to select the pencil lines only from a scanned drawing and lose the white back ground so I can set the drawing only onto other layers. How would I go about doing this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn any case, I have a drawing I did with a pencil, and then I scanned it. Now, I want to scan it, and then paint over it. I have figured out how to paint over the scan, but I am not producing the result I want.
I have attached my scanned image, and the painting. My issue is, I want to have a digital feel to my painting; that is, I want to get rid of the penciling. I am wondering how to accomplish this. I am hoping that I won't have to manually ink the picture.
Here is the "feel" I am going for [URL] ....
I have a bunch of images that look like and I want to 'restore' them like
Unfortunately that took an inordinate amount of pixel-fiddling to do and I have over 80 more of them.
Even more unfortunately, that was an 'easy' image compared to some of the others:
Another easier one
I know basically nothing about image processing and my current workflow looks like:
irfanview: convert to grayscale
ms photo editor: adjust contrast
ms pain: clean-up what's left Obviously this is inadequate for the task.

I'm often creating pixelart pics with transparent background using Pencil.. if as a secondary color would be an eraser (left click = drawing, right click = erasing). Is there such thing possible?
I can set some color and using Magic Wand (0 % tolerance) remove it or switching between pencil and eraser by keyboard, but - you know :) it's not so fast 'n' convenient. I tried to search for it here, but I guess I don't have correct keywords..
I need to find out how to change a jpg file into a clean vector file that can be used in my laser cutter.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have created a 30 page 8.5 x11 booklet, using Architecture 2012, for a campus mater plan. Now our priciples want to see it in a hand sketch format. I can do the lines with the visual style sketchy but how do I get the solid hatch colors to look like color pencil? I am assuming I will need to use Photoshop but just wondering if there is something I can do in Autocad Architecture.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two photos, shooted probably the same day, by the same photograph in the same place !But the pose is a bit different. first one is in high resolution and in black & white nuance. second one is a small resolution and in full colors.
I wish re-color the black&white photo using exactly the same nuance from the colored one.
can i "copy" all the colors from the color-one to the b&w one ?
i hope there is a quick way to do that with adobe photoshop or with a commercial plugin. Something like : i load the first one (color), i load the second one (b&n), and i press Ok and magic appears !

Is there an easy way to do color tints on a photo in PhotoPAINT? And by that I don't mean just correcting the tint, I mean converting a regular photo into one that has a single color tint (e.g., yellow, red, etc.). I've tried graying it out and then adding a transparent color layer over it, but I'm not getting the result I'm looking for.
Also, while I'm at it, are there any (current) books out that cover PhotoPAINT in depth? I know that the official DRAW book has a section on it, but it's pretty basic.
I'm not sure if i can explain this properly, but I'll give it a go;
How can I change the color of a picture (jpg) so that the picture is build up in one color only.
I want the effect as shown the pictures below (assuming that the original sky was blue/white-ish)
I am very new to photography and Lightroom 3.4 64 bit. I have a photo of an apple on the table. I want to get the photo black and white (did that already). Now I want the apple it self to remain its own red color. How do I do that?
Also, I have this apple and its reflection is on the knife that is cutting the apple. How can I get that in color too?
So Ive learned how to turn a color photo to B&W with spot color ...how to turn a color photo sepia, but also spot color. I have a wedding photos that I think would be a fun shot to play mixing those colors together . I have searched for the info earlier today and wasnt successful .

Can't seem to get it to accept much color, either by using Match Color or Color Match, using overlay/color in layers. Want to add a bright green. I can paint right on the photo, of course, but lose all texture of the animal(s).
