I have upgraded from Win XP to 8.1 by buying a new machine. I have a valid copy of elements 11 on DVD. This was upgraded from elements 8 which was downloaded and those files have been lost. Windows 8.1 will not read the DVD.

Can I upgrade my PSE 5.0 Catalog directly to version 12.0 without loss of data (i.e. using backup-move-restore method)? the transition to 6.0 and also to 9.0 resulted in a different data format in the catalog file.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5.聽 I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.
On start up it gives the following message ( see below ) as a 30 day trial.
I updated CS4 (student version) to CS5.5 commercial version. The brushes, patterns, shapes and styles I had installed in the CS4 Photoshop version were not loaded into the new version. I no longer have the original files of these assets (or customizations).

I just got a shrinkwrap version of PS CS3 upgrade. I have a full version of PS 7 installed on my machine.燙an I upgrade to this version. Adobe supports upgrades from 3 versions back, but I read somewhere that after Oct 2008, I won't be able to upgrade to CS3 - It doesn't make sense.

When I was at Purdue University I used the free educational version of Autodesk Inventor. I recently uninstalled Inventor, deleted the autodesk folders in program files, program data, and my documents folders.
Then I installed this professional version. Everything works great until i use something from the content center. Once a bolt is placed in the assembly the entire assembly becomes educational when I open it again.
I was wondering if you can upgrade to lightroom 5 from a previously upgraded version of Lightroom as I'd like to do this.

Everything worked just fine before the update. Problems started right after upgrading.
I'm so excited to recieve my new CD in the post but... I am halfway through a design project, and if I install the new latest version Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 7
1. Will my old Xara X1 (cd version) files work in latest version if I upgrade/install XP/GP7?
2. and will they be 2 stand alone programs and can switch between the two? or overwrite each other>?
At this time I am unable to locate my original cd, which has been in mass storage, so I fear installing just to find out, otherwise I wouldnt have asked this forum, backed up my design project and tried this already.
4.1 download was successful but when i open up the application the develop interface is still lightroom 3. What do i need to do to get the new interface?

I want to get PS7, and was wondering if buying Photoshop 4.0 plus the upgrade to version 7 (USD 469), equates to getting the the full version of PS 7 (which I could get for USD 569).
Are there any undesired effects due to any unseemless upgrade procedures from an older version?
Also, do you know of any store where I can get it quite cheaper than 569 USD?
I have Elements 5, Premier 3, LR 2, and Photoshop CS3.
I am considering upgrading either to Elements 7 or CS4. In looking at the
features of Elements 7, it appears to have just about anything a amateur
photographer would need and be a little less complicated than CS4. Am I
overlooking something that would suggest that CS4 would be a "better"
choice than Elements 7?
