In Elements 12 is it possible to print a single item without having to go through add/remove items process? It seems to be set to print everything I have open as a default.
View 2 RepliesI am using Photoshop Elements 10 on Win 7 PC. I am trying to print multiple copies of one image on a single 8.5x11 sheet of paper? The images are artwork for buttons (to be used in button-making machine) so the dimensions must be exact on the duplicated images. When I select Picture Package, the images are resized to fit the dimensions in the picture package. When I select Contact Sheet, the images are resized to fit the number of columns I selected. Neither is acceptable. How can I repeat the same image on a single piece of paper without having the system re-size the image? I know that I can manually create a new PSE file and manually insert the images into this file. This is what I have been doing as a work-around.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to switch between items without closing out an item while in edit? ie: You have two (or more) items open in edit, and you want to cut from one item and paste on another but you don't want to close out the one you just cut on. I tried using the little arrows on top of the edit workspace, thinking these would be the way to switch items, but they don't do anything, at least for me anyway. I tried looking in the user guide but no luck.

Now I would like to make the curve path in visible, and I was able to search for instructions on how to do that except that I'm finding them mystifying. I read "you can select a single item inside a group with Ctrl click," but when I go to the group in the layers gallery, the text and curve are treated as one item, and I see no way to separate the two.

I seem to have lost the ability to add or remove an annotative scale for a single item (piece of text, block etc). I've always picked the annotative scale in the properties box and then hit the box at the right which brought up a small dialogue box where I could add or remove scales for the item that I'd highlighted. When I hit that box now, or the similar box in the right click menu nothing happens. AutoCAD acts like the box is present, but it isn't. The right click option of remove current scale doesn't work either as it seems to remove the scale from multiple items.
I have recently gone from two monitors to one (it's a real bummer). Is it possible that the dialogue box is open somewhere I can't find it? I have hit the show desktop button and it isn't there.
I took a picture with diffused morning sunlight coming through the trees, casting rays of sun and shadows on the other trees and ground however, behind the trees you can see a large house. I have tried things to remove / cover-up the house, however, it destroys the sun rays and shadows, is the someway to remove the house without destroying the suns effect?

Is it possible to take 3-4 effects, all mixed together, like brush stroke, solarise, warp sharp, neon... mix them all together, and process a number of pictures while changing the mix level of each effect, and also varying some of the effect settings, such as brush size, brightness, etc...
are there any scripts that can do that? any macro plugins that can control other plugins? is there a crafty programming trick that could be fashioned to vary and mix effects across a task of batch processing?
A quick way to add a single column to multiple items in the Content Center? The column would be the same across the board, and I really don't want to edit several hundred family tables one at a time if I don't have to.
View 2 Replies View RelatedBit of a Photoshop novice here, use it for DVD covers and labels. I have been using CS3 previously but upgraded to CS5.5 last year. The thing is on CS5.5 I can only print one page at a time even when I input say 20 copies to be printed, only one will print. That goes for the regular printer for printing covers and the disc printer.
I can open CS3 up and right away it will print however many I ask it to.
Is there something I am missing? Something so painfully obvious that it is staring me in the face but I am just not seeing it?
I have a drawing in which I need to keep a part in the assembly but I don't want to display it on the BoM. Is there any way I can remove it from the BoM without removing it from the assembly and drawing?

The code then prompts the user to add additional selections once these handle selections are made. No problem. The problem lies with attempting to deselect the objects that were selected via object handles. I should say highlighted because that is what the present code is doing. It is highlighting the objects on screen. The code I am using follows:

I have a few thousand files that I need to process into colour swatches for a web site. The process entails locating a suitable area of each image, cropping that area to 25 pixels square, and saving the result. Obviously, I need to be able to do this as quickly as possible; ideally with just a single click for each image, and so I'd like to set up a script in order to batch-process the images. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that a suitable position on one image is going to be at all suitable for another, so a limited amount of interactivity is required.
Is it possible to set up an interactive batch task, or would some other approach be required?
I have a tool bar for all the macros that I use regularly.
While we can add shortcut icon onto the tool bar by simply drag and drop, I couldn't figure out the way to remove icon from the tool bar.
I have a large image that has been scanned in as just pure black and white. Unfortunately there seems to be a lot of noise in the form of single black pixels all over the image.
Apart from manually erasing all of the pixels (the image is huge!), how else could I do this. Is there a way to automatically select any single pixels within an image so that I could just delete all of them at once, or perhaps if I blurred the image sufficiently so that they disappeared and then sharpen the image?

I work in a studio where we use a DNG workflow - delivering DNG files to prepress. We are currently upgrading to LR4 to support some new cameras. Long story short, our prepress provider is using PSCS5 (and ACR 6.7) which means we'll need to keep our work in process 2010 for the forseeable future.
Given that I'll be sticking with process 2010 for a while, is there a way to turn off/disable the little exclamation point version warning?
I'm trying to remove all hidden page items regardless of how many sublayers they are burried in. I wrote a snippet here that seems to only partly work. It removes all hidden page items unless two hidden items exist right after each other in the stacking order.

View 5 Replies View Relatedway to to automate a workflow as follows:
1. drop or select a folder of pics (sometimes up to 200 images)
2. create a contact sheet - just like the "File > Automate > Contact Sheet II" (I make contact sheets/proofs of 2-4 images per page)
3. print all the contact sheets on 8.5x11" sheets of paper
4. close contact sheets w/o saving.
I can't seem to combine the Contact Sheet II with other actions.
Alternatively I could continue to create my contact sheets with the existing Contact Sheet II tool, then save, then drag to print window/icon - but it would be much easier to handle it one step.
I also looked for Automator actions and can't seem to nail this thing. I even considered iPhoto - it does this "standard prints" thing which works great but I need the file names in the contact sheets (bummer).
I'm using a Macinotsh G5 2GHz DP, 2GB RAM, OSX.4.2, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Epson 4000 Pro.
when I print to a pdf file using Adobe PDF printer the hatching on my luminaire symbols and the images in the legend are missing.
All are on the same layer as the legend and symbols and appear in the viewport.
It's only when I create the odf that they disappear.
When 4-color process printing (CMYK), how might one remove the black plate from the process, but maintain the same "shade", or very close to, of all process colors?
Top swatch is the original. Bottom is the closes I could get while keeping Black at 0%.
When I create a pdf using the dwg to pdf driver native to acad2010 it creates a pdf but when I go to print that pdf the processing time that it takes to print is outrageously long since when adobe reader goes to process the pdf to print it it says it is "flattening" the pdf.
How to remedy this problem? At this point the dwg to pdf driver in acad is unusable unless I can figure out how to create a pdf file that does not need to be "flattened" by adobe reader before finally sending off to the printer.
Working in AutoCAD™ 2012... Is there a way to "erase" an entity, line, etc. by selecting it and having it immediately disappear? I work in 3D/DXB files a lot and it really useful when working with an audience either for on-screen seminars or over-the-shoulder.

I need to remove that background without any part of the objects them self.
I mange to get most of the background out using the magic wand , but i'm left with many random single/groups of noise pixels left in the picture since they were not captured with the magic wand.
most of the time i can remove those using the eraser or use the selection tools with different shapes around the pixels and press delete.
but those methods take lots of time, specially around a complex objects and as i'm getting near to them, i need to make my selections/eraser radius smaller and smaller.
I have tried to use a plugin called "Reduce Noise" that i found , but it does not work.
faster way how to remove this noise pixels without any part of the objects?
a plugin that "scans" the image/selected area and remove all pixels that are surrounded by transparency in it?
p.s I can't always select only the object/s itself/them self and just move it/them to a new picture.
p.s.2 maybe a plugin that the user can choose up to what size, a group of pixels, should be removed ?
