I recently have had a pop-up window stating that I have a "font error." This error popped up about a month after installation. It pops up right before the program opens before I begin working. However, my fonts work fine within the program. if I may be missing fonts or if there is some other kind of technique that I have yet learned due to this error. I would hate to miss out on something that the program offers.
View 2 RepliesI need to know the name of the UI font for Photoshop CS2. Upon startup I keep receiving the "UI font not found" error. I have over 1000 ttf and ps fonts and occasionally disable some of them; to keep that piece of Windows XP stuff working corectly. Must have disabled the font. Don't really want to enable all the fonts. The system would crash.

I go into preferences and into general but there is no setting to turn off text smoothing for a specific font. I'm in osx mavericks and all it says is "use lsd font smoothing when available" and when I uncheck it, the error message in photoshop still pops up.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having problems when trying to paste text from Microsoft word. the pasted text becomes unreadable / corrupted. Well here is my situation, I have a large number of text that I'm trying to insert into Corel Draw X4.
and if I convert the word document to PDF, I receive the same thing. I tried importing the text as image, worked but can't edit the text nor the text is in good quality (quality is very poor, cannot be used for plot)
I am using Microsoft Vista x64 / Arabic enabled (can type just about everything in MS Word/Excel etc...)
By the way, I can type the text in corel, and it works great, but I have some 200 pages, so you get the idea! it's hard work for me to type all the 200 pages :
When i use the DWGtoPDF feature the letters(that are written in Greek) do not appear correctly at in the pdf. instead i get black dots where each greek word should have written. by the way i use windows 7 with civil 2010 3d

And it can't be changed. When clicking on the down arrow (to change the font), the User Interface "jumps" up and down. But, the font won't change. When applying a watermark, whether I set the font to 8 or 72, it appears microscopic on the photo (must zoom to see if its there). I've tried watermarking via adding text and via the "Process Multiple Files" applications with the same result. (The opacity is fine.) I don't know if there's a hidden setting someplace I need to change or if this is ann Adobe defect. Since I've recently uploaded the program, am resistent to having to pay for Adobe tech support!

I still can't find a way to increase the font size in PE 11, though. Am I missing something? It seems the menu fonts have increased in size in proportion to what Windows font size I'm using, but all the other fonts in PE 11 are still too tiny to read meaning (unless I am missing something) the software is still unusable (unless I sacrifice resolution).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like Abobe to create a patch for this problem affecting so many of us. The menu's font size cannot be adjusted in PSE. It is a HUGE problem for me. I cannot return the product, I lose money, but I am unable to continue with using it. I do not understand why Adobe keeps ignoring this problem. PSE would be a great product - only if Adobe listened to customer input. I am forced to think that Adobe simply does not care enough about its customers, especially not about the older population with presbiopia.

I have 20/20 vision but the workspace is so small on this computer. I've tried changing the resolution on my screens and it's not changing photoshops screen at all. I'm not sure why it is a great size on my past computers and this updated computer it's not showing properly ? I can not use the program any longer with the changed sizing.
