View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently have had a pop-up window stating that I have a "font error." This error popped up about a month after installation. It pops up right before the program opens before I begin working. However, my fonts work fine within the program. if I may be missing fonts or if there is some other kind of technique that I have yet learned due to this error. I would hate to miss out on something that the program offers.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I type in small font sizes in Elements, such as 8-9pt font and lower, it comes up as GIGANTIC when it shouldn't be. I've tried restarting the program and checked the scale of my image, but neither proved to be successful.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter opening a .jpeg file, I'd like to add text. No problem adding text. The problem is editing the text. Apparently, PhotoShop Elements 10 gets stuck on one font. And it can't be changed. When clicking on the down arrow (to change the font), the User Interface "jumps" up and down. But, the font won't change. I am able to change the color of the text, but not the font. I checked my System and there's no problems. I even did a Virus scan...none found. Is there a setting from within
PhotoShop Elements 10 that I'd be able to import the fonts on my System ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've recently changed from another program to Elements 11. When applying a watermark, whether I set the font to 8 or 72, it appears microscopic on the photo (must zoom to see if its there). I've tried watermarking via adding text and via the "Process Multiple Files" applications with the same result. (The opacity is fine.) I don't know if there's a hidden setting someplace I need to change or if this is ann Adobe defect. Since I've recently uploaded the program, am resistent to having to pay for Adobe tech support!

Is there the option to change the UI font in PSE 11 - i can not find an option, despite this UI problem being around for at least PSE 10 and PSE 9......
If no UI option in PSE11 - WHY?
I am using Photoshop Elements 6.0. I need to make my text 600 pt, but whenever I go that large my text disappears. I can only go up to about 450 pt before it disappears.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd have thought (since this has been a problem since 9 and that HD displays are fairly common now) it would have been addressed. I still can't find a way to increase the font size in PE 11, though. Am I missing something? It seems the menu fonts have increased in size in proportion to what Windows font size I'm using, but all the other fonts in PE 11 are still too tiny to read meaning (unless I am missing something) the software is still unusable (unless I sacrifice resolution).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like Abobe to create a patch for this problem affecting so many of us. The menu's font size cannot be adjusted in PSE. It is a HUGE problem for me. I cannot return the product, I lose money, but I am unable to continue with using it. I do not understand why Adobe keeps ignoring this problem. PSE would be a great product - only if Adobe listened to customer input. I am forced to think that Adobe simply does not care enough about its customers, especially not about the older population with presbiopia.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've used photoshop elements 10 ad it's worked fine on my other computers. I just purchased a new computer, same size monitor and I can barely read the font or text on it. I have 20/20 vision but the workspace is so small on this computer. I've tried changing the resolution on my screens and it's not changing photoshops screen at all. I'm not sure why it is a great size on my past computers and this updated computer it's not showing properly ? I can not use the program any longer with the changed sizing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using PSE12 with Mac OS X Mavericks. If I use the type tool, type some text then want to change maybe the font or size, the text disappears! If I set the parameters before typing everything is OK, but it is really inconvenient.
Also when I do a return in text the first letter of the next line is always a capital whether or not I start a new sentence!
I need assistance. How doI change the font size or sizes of menu options on photoshop elements 9 so I can see to use the program, everything is so tiny, even the X's to close out the program.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI found a forum entry about changing the font size of captions in a slide show in PSE9. The fixer said there was no global fix to change the default font size for captions in PSE9. Is there a way to do that in PSE12? When my captions show up on the screen in PSE12, they are so small I can barely read them. I would like them all to be larger.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a Dell XPS15 laptop with a QHD+ (3200x1800) display. The PC is running Windows 8.1. I have also purchased Photoshop Elements 12 to run on it.
With the display at the native resolution, it is necessary to have the "Change the size of all items" option in the display settings of Windows 8.1 set to "Larger", in order for the native Windows fonts and UI elements to be at a reasonable size. The laptop came with this option enabled by default.
However, disappointingly the UI font size in Photoshop Elements is way too small when the display is at the native resolution. The application is basically unusable.
I have tried setting the "Use system font" option in the General preferences, but this doesn't seem to work.
The only way I can get the Photoshop Elements UI font to a reasonable size, is by dropping the screen resolution (to say 1920x1080).
This seems like a terrible waste of a beautiful screen, particularly when my main reason for using the PC is for editing photos, and my photo management and editing software is preventing me exploiting the full resolution of the display.
Iam missing tool bar for font, style and size and color. where is it?
