Photoshop :: Paste In Place In CS6 Is Not Working
Feb 5, 2013I've been using the Creative Suite since CS4,I'm building a psd file with vectors from an ai file. I recall that in CS5 and CS5.5 I had no issue copying a vector from Illustrator and then using "paste in place" to land it in the same relative spot on the Photoshop canvas. Today, my world has crumbled! Try as I might, I cannot get my vector shapes to "paste in place".
I am using Windows 7, service pack 1, and CS6 64 bit edition. Both Illustrator and Photoshop were entirely up to date as of today, I have already tried dumping the preference file, to no avail.
it seems that Illustrator's clipboard has been handling data differently somehow, and I'm pondering whether this might be the culprit of my issue. However, copying and pasting in place within Illustrator seems to work fine, problems only arise when I copy from Illustrator into Photoshop.
Photoshop :: Place CMD And Batch Not Working Correctly
Aug 12, 2013I am using the "Place" command to embed my transparent logo into all my images that I post.I hand place the logo in the right bottom corner (not "aligned" as it just pushes the logo too close to the edge). My problem is when I create an action incorporating the "place" command and use it in batching, my "hand" placed logo defaults to the center of the screen which I don't want. Is this a bug. Shouldn't the placement go where I actually place it? I am using percentages to resize so that should not be a problem.
When I use the align tool the batch actually works and places it in the absolute alignment position, but that looks terrible.
Photoshop :: CS 'in Place' Font Preview Not Working
Dec 9, 2008when you create some text, highlight it, then go to the font chooser dropdown menu and use the arrows to scroll through the installed fonts, the highlighted text will change in place to the fonts you are selecting.
Is there some setting you can use to turn this on/off, because I have never seen this work once, and i'm REALLY aching for this type of functionality. So far this is the one thing about Photoshop CS that kills me is choosing from my many fonts... I always end up having to open flash, in which that feature does work for me- but it's not the same when you don't have all the rest of the design right there to be able to see the difference.
InDesign :: Link And Place No Longer Working?
Mar 26, 2014So, I'm linking table of contents text block to about 20 separate articles. Until about four days ago when I made edits to the the source TOC the articles would signal that an update was available. They no longer do this. And Yes the link to the text shows up in the links panel. The source file name has not changed and the location is the same.

Nov 1, 2012I just upgrade to Windows8 x64 and I'm using Illustrator 64 CS6. I am trying to drag and drop a TIF file off my desktop in to a document like I have so many times before in Illustrator but my cursor is showing the 'No' symbol (circle with line thru it).

Feb 23, 2013I spent the morning with students working on Elements 11. Many of them are having trouble "docking" panels in the bin.
It used to be easy to drag a panel to a group and dock it there, when the blue line appeared.
I could not get a blue line to dock the histogram panel to her bin.

Under the "Places" tab, it's listed as 5754 State Road 23 in Spring Green Wisconsin. Sep 26, 2013I am using PSE 12. When I delete photos the program is moving automatically to the bottom or top of my catalog rather than staying in place. So if I am deleting photos 1000 - 1005 it will reload at the bottom or top of my catalog. This is a huge annoyance given I have 12K photos. Other times it simply freezes and crashes.
