When I try to use the brush tool when in Actions, an outlined version of my watermark shows up on my image instead of the brush applying the Action. I do not know what I did but it is super frustrating... how do I remove?
View 1 RepliesSuddenly my CS2 has started to act up. First, after opening a file and start to do a background erasing, the brush shows up as crosshairs.
after a brief time of working with those limitations, when I click on the downdown menus, they get highlighted, but nothing drops down. If I try to close the file or the program, all I get is a warning "ding".

However after following all of the instructions up to the point where I am supposed to select the area to define I can go no further. It says to select the image/text and then go to edit -> define brush. When I do this the define brush option is faint and I cannot select it. The videos all appear to be done using Elements 11 or earlier. It this a glitch with 12?

So everything is fine until I use the select tool, and then free transform a part of the image. Then my brush and eraser stop working until I save and restart the program.

Finally, a pop-up error windows says clc.exe stopped working (you can see that on the photo). I'm running on Windows 7, 64 bit.

Everything worked just fine before the update. Problems started right after upgrading.
The brush tool shape changes when zooming into an image. Instead of the normal circle to indicate the area that will be affected by the brush, it turns into a large curved X, or a large half moon. Sometimes there are two, three or four horizontal ovals (instead of one circle) going across my image. When I continue to zoom in further, it returns to a circle. Caps Lock and is off. I discovered that when this happens, if I press the CTRL key, it returns to a circle

View 3 Replies View RelatedAs pointed out in the thread subject line, both the clone stamp tool and healing brush are not working for me in Photo Elements 7.When I am attempting to use it, I get the message: "Could not use clone stamp tool because the area to clone has not been defined". Well, this is not the case since I did define it with command Alt + left mouse click.
Background:Photo Elements 7 is installed in Windows XP Professional SP3. The latter runs as a virtual O/S with Sun VirtualBox on host SuSE Linux 11.1 (Gnome).
I have loaded the office copy of Photoshop elements on my computer. It is only being used on one computer. I have tried to log in with my password but when they send the email and I follow the link it can't log me in. I also find the Spot healing Brush tool doesn't work. I have a Windows 7 64 bit.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was working in Photoshop CS6 and I must of accidentally clicked on something. My layers palette went from showing me a picture of what was in each layer to only showing a brush in every layer. Now I can't see which layer is what.
I've tried Googling a fix but I can't find anything. Here is what it now looks like. I want each layer to show me what is actually on that layer.
In PSE11 the clone tool with the aligned option creates a duplicate of the whole image instead of just the brush area.

I tried the testversion of Videostudio X4 and downloaded the recommended file from the website which is the german version. I installed it on a XP 32 Bit machine and also on a Vista Ultimate 32 Bit machine.
In both cases the first dialogs (welcome and registration) after running the program are in Chinese language. Now, the problems are:
- Although I can translate the contents by google translator I do not register the program in this case. I don't know what is comming up after that.
- The Corel support does not do anything when you don't specify a registered product.
