Aug 9, 2010It seems that trying to print a photo with Description and Labels being checked in the Output section will not happen. why this function will not work in my recent upgrade to CS5 (version 12.0 x64)?

Current Conditions: there 3D objects in the drawing, I have dimensioned in model space, and I have set the VP Shade Plot to "Legacy Hidden".
Ideas on making the dimension ticks, arrows and font solid again?

CorelDRAW X5 :: Matrix Of Labels - Only Single Label On Print Preview
Aug 20, 2012I would like to use the label print feature of Corel DRAW X5. When I do the following steps:
Choose File -> New...
Create a new file with A4 size and 300 dpi
Choose Layout -> Page Setup....
Goto "Document" -> "Label" in the options tree
Select "Labels" (instead of "Normal Paper")
Select a predefined label layout (problem exists also with a custom label layout)
Click on OK -> New page with one single label as the size has been created
Drawing my label
Choose File -> Print Preview
I expected to see the "matrix" of labels (e.g. 4x10 labels), but I only see one single label in the middle of the page.

Oct 10, 2013sometimes I need to print some labels with some text and barcode. I just select predefined from (zweckform) in labels menu and design the label. But, when I preview all labels, there is a problem-whole page is out of margins? I can't figure it out since labels are designed to match the page.

Jun 12, 2011When I went to make my business cards, I had the settings at 2in x 3.5in 300dpi in GIMP.
When I go to print them as business cards using GimpLabels, you can only see the very top portion of my image. After switching the ruler settings to pxl (in the corner) I noticed my image is actually 2500 pixels by 3500 pixels. Obviously a business card is not that big. So... Is there anyway to easily scale this to the correct size?
I actually have about 10 different versions of this card I have to print.... So it would really suck if I'd have to go in an manually scale every one of them. It would be nice if GimpLabels would scale it itself you know?

Sep 17, 2013When I have my alignment labels and plan view text align to the layout view in Paper Space they plot out very bold.Â
I am using Style: Swis721 BT-Italic. I use that style in the profile for labels and in plan view. When I plot out the sheet the profile view plots good but the text that was aligned in the plan view is very bold.Â

Oct 9, 2012AI CS6 Layers panel missing labels when you deselect print in the layer options. Is this a bug? I noticed this on a furnished file at work on a MacPro and had a hard time working the file because all of the labels were missing.
I stumbled on the cause when I turned on the Print Layer and all the labels came back. To be sure it was not computer related, I made a file on my AI CS6 version 16.1.0 with the same result. See screen shot.

AutoCAD Print / Plot :: Print To Plotter Or Make PDF
Mar 8, 2011I have a new machine with windows 7 64 bit and autocad 11. When I choose the 6204 as my plotter I get the following message : "This plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reasons: the driver cannot be found, the device cannot be found, or the driver has a problem. The None plot device has been substituted." it does not matter if I choose to try and print to the plotter or make a PDF this error comes. up..

Jan 7, 2013I am trying to make my contour labels visible, indepently of the Visible status of the contours in the surface style of the original surface that I am working on. I have to do this due the final topo looks strange in the borders so I am displaying another contours -that do not have elevation- and make look the drawing better. The problem is that if I turn off the Visible property of the contours, the labels turn off even that they were created in a different layer and attached to a label style with its own layer property.

Feb 26, 2013I have trial version of Elements 11; Also have full version, but have not installed yet, as I wanted to wait until I completed current project. I created/edited an album of wedding photos in the Organizer. I tried to upload album to Shutterfly to make an archival DVD and also make a photo book in Shutterfly. The photos uploaded individually to the Shutterfly print page to print individually, but the album will not upload to My Pictures, it shows the album name, but it is empty. How do I get the photos to upload?? Shutterfly was not sure how.

Dec 19, 2013How can I make sure the annotated surface labels spot elevations from my 3d design drawing which is being xrefed into a new Precise Grading Breakout Sheet plots screened?
The Label Style which I created for the annotated surface label spot elevations has all its properties set to be ByLayer for example its color and lineweight. The Layer I assigned the Label Style was assigned to a layer with a color and plot style that should plot any object screened. Color 8 and Plot Style Screened.
What other steps am I missing to assure myself that this Label Style will plot screened in my new Precise Grading Breakout Sheet?
I also made sure that the xref drawing in which this Surface spot elevation has the correct colors and lineweights and Plot Styles in my new Precise Grading Breakout Sheet.

Apr 18, 2013I have a client who would like to create a banner that is 6x5 feet. She supplied me with a very high quality photo that she'd like printed on the banner. Ideally, it would fill up most of the banner. The file size of the photo is 670 mb. In Photoshop's "Image Size" window, it says that it's 12960 x 8640 pixels, 36 x 24 inches, and 360 ppi.

Is there some way to make this photo display larger, short of taking a new photo with a higher resolution? What happens if I up the resolution in the "Image Size" window?

Also wondering why this file would be 670 mb but only 36x24 inches in size... It doesn't seem to add up to me.

Apr 2, 2013What I want to do is make a Ruler. In particular a Ruler that goes up to 360. This is going to be a Liner Setting Circle that I am going to use to wrap a Dobsonian Base with. So these are going to be in Degrees.
My plan was to try and break up each degree in to 20 increments. I was hoping to used the (Filter>Render>Pattern>Grid) feature to do this in layers. To have 3 Layers overlapping. One are 360 for the main degree marks. One at 3600 for the increments of 2 between each degree. One 7200 for the increments of 1 between each degree.

Aug 16, 2013I like to make and print custom cards for family and friends. I use a heavy matte finish paper to print on. But the printing is never as vibrant as my screen image, and this includes photos.
Today I tried this and it worked fine. I converted the image to be printed to a 300dpi bitmap, then using the Photo Tool > Enhance menu, I increased the Saturation to the point where the image looked psychedelic. When I printed on the dull finish card stock, the colors looked just right.

I don't know how to approach making zebra print swatch, because:
1. the zebra lines are not straight
2. some go all the way through the whole swatch and others stop half way or quarter of the way.

So it is really not like making a cheetah print swatch or a straight line type of pattern swatch.

Feb 5, 2011I'm a new user of GIMP 2.6.11 for OSX, and I can't figure out how to make photo colors print correctly. My printer is an Epson 2200, driver version 8.37. When I print one of my old photos from Mac Preview, colors come out the same as they did when I used this printer from Photoshop 6 on my old Windows PC. When I print the same image from GIMP on the Mac (using the Print command, not Gutenprint, and selecting photo quality and specifying the right paper, etc), the colors are too far off for a simple CY, MAG, Y level adjustment to get back to what I expect. Under image properties GIMP says the color profile of the image is sRGB IEC61966-2.1, and the image appears the same on my monitor in GIMP as it does in Preview. But it appears GIMP may be using a different color profile for printing than for display. is that possible, and if so, how can I change it?

the image itself is a high resolution because it needs to be, so not surprisingly it keeps making illustrator crash. the print needs to happen, and it needs to become a swatch so I can apply it to tee shirts, hats etc. so far this has been completely impossible.
