sometimes I need to print some labels with some text and barcode. I just select predefined from (zweckform) in labels menu and design the label. But, when I preview all labels, there is a problem-whole page is out of margins? I can't figure it out since labels are designed to match the page.

We need a patch Corel.
Again a new version and again the same issue like in all previous versions. One could think that issues solved in one version would not be present in the next one.
Again Corel made barcodes apear in all colours in separations, instead of the logical Black only.
I know I can export to pdf and then import again, change colour to black to solve it, but if you want to keep editability or have to do 100+ Barcodes, this is just annoying.
I am using MS Windows System 7 and printing onto two networked printers, a Lexmark Pro205 and a HPD7460, It seems that when I have finished setting up a page of texts and inserts for a publication the page looks good on the screen and on the PRINT PREVIEW window of either PRINTER software but some of it does not print. The left side of the two column page prints OK but the right side is blank after the first line. The text that flows from page to page to page seems to be alright and the inserts that are not part of the flow text that has been inserted as wrap around text (surround) prints.The is simple missing. The next page of the same article is doing the same thing.
I originally had this problem in another document on the HP but not the Lexmark. Now I have it on both printers in this document.
I was wondering if there are control characters that the printers are acting upon during the print function. Can one see all the control functions on a page before printing or at will?

View 2 Replies View RelatedHave created a customised label equivalent to Avery L6008 - very small labels 7 across and 27 labels down. Prints perfectly. However, I would like to be able to vary the design and print different labels across the 7 columns. Either at the creation stage - use the template and select which column is utilised or at the printing stage restrict the printing to 1 column only. Does this make sense?
These are for some Geocaching buddies who want their own name on the labels and a full sheet of 189 labels is too much.
I use the label setup a lot, as a large part of my business is digitally printing die cut (or more precisely, kiss-cut) labels. I have more than 70 user defined layouts. Printing digitally, of course, it is always more cost effective to print on larger sheets, so I want to start printing labels on larger sheets (11x17 or 12x18) as the click charge is the same regardless of the sheet size.
My problem is, it seems the labels can only be designed on 8.5 x 11 sheets. I cannot find a way to setup a larger sheet. Any way to change the sheet size on user-defined labels? Is there perhaps a macro that can work around this apparent limitation?
I realize I can achieve some of the same effect with imposition layouts, but I cannot fine tune positioning this way to ensure my print lines up with the pre-cut label sheets.
I have a question regarding printing labels. I just want to print labels, for example, in row 3 and 4. I managed to print 1, 2 rows (and then rotate the paper :), how can I print just rows 3 and 4 ? And then just row 5, for example? There is an option imposition in layout which should correct that, but I can't find it? How to set this things? Is even an option for that?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a client that I laser engrave parts with a variety of graphics, about 35 different designs that fit on 10 different parts and all the designs are different sizes on the parts. I use a fixture that holds 40 parts, two rows of 20, for each type of part. I have a master file for each part that contains a page with each graphic laid out as in the fixture so that I can simply go to the page and select the graphic in the right position for the fixture and paste it into a "lasering" file. The lasering file is just as many pages as I need to run the order and is much smaller than the master file.
That works fine now and is actually pretty quick and easy to setup, but I just found out that they will be adding about 35-40 designs a month. That will make the master file huge and very cumbersome to manage, not to mention the order sheet (spreadsheet) will get huge in no time at all. I can envision it becoming a nightmare to manage and mistakes will be frequent due to the sheer size of the files.
What I would like to do is have a spreadsheet with the graphic and a quantity and merge that into the lasering file instead of doing it manually. I am very familiar with merging data but I don't know if it's possible to merge a graphic from a database or somehow import the graphic into corel.
Why am I having trouble printing out an 8.5 X 11 full coverage page when my setting says there are no issues?
Also, why does it want to print inside the dotted border if I have it set to print full page?
I am unable to print over 6' in length even if the file size is small. I am using a Roland SP-300.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to print a flier on A6 paper on an HP CP1515n. I set the paper size in Corel 12 to A6, then set the paper size on the printer to A6. The paper feeds through very nicely - with nothing on it.
It works fine printing from MS Word so I am placing the paper correctly.
Using XP Home Edition SP 3.
I am currently printing on A4, then cutting into 4. I have found a cheap source of A6 paper but can't get my fliers to print.
I want to start a project on Corel which will be initially printed. So I will start with the basic Cmyk template given from the window that pops up and make sure that the Color Managements is set correctly for printing settings.
My question now lies: What should I do if the same project has to be uploaded on the web too? What I would do is:
1. Create a new project selecting the RBG template given from the window that pops up.
2. Paste the project
3. Convert the colors to RGB
4. Set the Color management to RGB settings.
5. Export.
I have to make print merge firelds in CDX6.
The problem is that I have not Excel on my PC. Only Open office. I create a csv file but Open Office asks me every time what the Field and Text delimiter have to be - for the Field "," ";" ":" "tab" or "space" and for the Text " or '. After that it asks me to check or not few check boxes. See the picture below.
I tryed few combinations but the same result - Failed to save print merge data!
I dont know what to chek but the biggest problem is that I tryed to save a txt tab delimited on other computer with excel and when I try to print merge after loading the txt file Corel says Failed to save print merge data.
I saw that we can Print merge directly from xls files but I cant find that option in ODCB Data Source. Weird! because I have to do 1100 badjes with different merge fields like country, name, code etc... and if I start to make them by hand it will be forever!
No matter what size doc I create when I go to print it only shows letter size. Tried re-saving, changed page layout, etc. with no luck. If I press print I get a page size missmatch error.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWe are having issues with Corel X6: when we try print preview, the print preview window opens, but after we click print, it just crashes and that's it.
Both corel and Windows are updated, and the machine is clean.
I'm currently working on an XP 32 bit system with AMD Athlon 64 3200+
CorelDraw is displaying a print preview but is otherwise completely idle. It has finished displaying the preview, so it is just waiting for user action but has nothing else to do.
Photopaint in another window was running extruciatingly slow so I checked task manager. CorelDraw.exe was showing to be using 98% of the CPU.
On further investigation, this happens only when the print preview is on the screen. I close the print preview, return to CorelDraw design screen and CPU is 0% when idle. I do another print preview -- 98% CPU again.
I'll try it later on a quad core system, but it seems that print preview should not be hogging the CPU when idle waiting for operator action.
I have a rather large job, a book with 370 pages. when we want to reprint w/o any changes i would like to turn off the print preview to eliminate the delay.
How to bypass the print preview?
After successfully using Corel Draw for some years, I am suddenly unable to print files. Instead of the file, my printers just print a black page. I have tried re-installing but it has not worked.

I just purchased and installed X5 on my Win 7 Pro system. I work with large files (8-10MB) using multiple OLE linked CDR files and bitmaps. When I export to PDF using the built-in exporter, most of the OLE files do not print and the ones that do are corrupted. I have made a work around using doPDF V7, but believe this should work out of the box.

We do a lot of print merges, more than 100 a day. Happens randomly, but mainly after several jobs have been printed (jobs, 5-10, still open in X5 in case som modifications are needed).

well that is kind of annoying to have a 12x36 panorama canvas with only the text and not the picture, since the canvas is ruined and costs about $12 a print.
