Photoshop :: Animated GIF - Save For Web Not Showing Full Frame Range
Apr 29, 2013I'm trying to export an animated gif with 52 frames - I'm using the timeline in CS6, it's exported correctly in the past but when I try and save for web only a seemingly arbitrary number of rames appear in the animation. With no clear route to rectify this, I've tried to affect the outcome by simply moving things around on the timeline.
I've had a variety of frame ranges (and frames) numbering between 2 and 6 frames, far off my 52 target. It's a simple image and equally simple transition to keep filesize down

Jan 13, 2014I am working in a custom project. 30fps (progressive). My quicktimes begin at frame 0. When I look at the files in quicktime, the frames are there. When I import the files into premiere CC. the first 2 frames are not viewable and my imported clip begins at frame 2. Is this a settings thing?

Somehow I've gotten this v2.6 on a Linux box into a mode where the visible opacity doesn't follow the slider full range. Instead it is all or nothing. At 50% or less opacity the layer is entirely transparent and at 50.1% or more it is entirely opaque.

Mar 18, 2011I am doing a rendering of a timeline with approx 1900 frames. I am using mental ray as my render engine. After the rendering runs its course, approx 20 hours, it completes with no problems. I open the saved avi file and the clip only captures the first say half of the rendered frames. I have done this 3 times now and for what should be approx a 60 sec clip i only get 36 sec.

Oct 28, 2011I have a rule in the .idw drawing template, that displays a dialog box asking for the size (A, B, C, D...). Once the size is selected, it displays the appropriate border and title block. There is a small & large title block, so an A or B size gets the small, and a C or larger gets the large. This works great.
My question is, how can I have the appropriately sized Revision Table (small or large), automatically ready for use, based on the drawing size? The (2) Revision Tables are defined in the Styles library.

VideoStudio :: Access To Controls In Full Screen
Jul 1, 2012I've been using ulead vs 10 and now corel vs x4 pro to interface and record video from a microscope. I produced a DVD for microbe identification which has been purchased by 100s of amateur scientists and organic farmers. I record direct to hard drive via firewire with a Sony HD camcorder with a remote control 10X analog zoom; 37 mm lense. It is a lovely old camera.
1/ The recording controls are not accessible when in full screen mode which means I need to start recording, open the full screen then focus and start tracking my organisms with the microscope stage controls. To stop recording I need to go to small screen again first. Has this function been changed in the x5 version?
2/ When using the HD settings on camera and software, there is a delayed reaction to the computer so this makes tracking the microbes impossible. I doubt this is caused by lack of RAM I have 24 GB on a windows 7 64 bit.
3/ Occaisionally when I am observing and/or recording, the transmission freezes. I think this is likely something trying to run in the computer....Perhaps with creating a dedicated profile where I could stop any of this interference.
4/ I've been using an external USB 2.0 hard drive for storage but it is too slow. I've been thinking of a SATA external drive or USB 3. Does any huge advantages for the extra money to get a SATA external drive over USB 3.0?

Jan 5, 2014I'm now trying Elements 12 (free trial) to see if the interface for subsetting the set of images by date is any easier than PSE 10, and I find it even harder to use - in fact, it does not seem to work at all. I select Find -> By Details (Metadata) and select by Catalog Date after 12/29/13 AND before 12/31/13 (see screenshot)
which results in no matches, even though I have a few dozen pictures with catalog date of 12/30/2013, such as this one, with the date highlighted:
I also turned on the Timeline, but it does not have the resolution to select specific dates

Feb 22, 2014I'm using Elements 11. In order to add watermarks to many JPG pics at once, I use the function "Process Multiple Files".
I select a source folder and a destination folder, and adds a three digit serial number to each file. I do NOT tick the checkbox marked "Change picture size". After that I define the watermark I want printed on my pics and hits OK. All the files in the source folder are processed and saved, with a new name in the destination folder. Fair and square.
But. The file size of the new file is heavily reduced, compared to the original. It goes from 10 MB down to 500 KB (in general). Why is that? Is there any way I can prevent it?
