View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Autosave set to 10min and the file location D:/Autodesk/Autosave, file extension .ac$. I see the progress bar appearing at bottom left, so I know the function is active. I had a situation yesterday where I inadvertently closed a drawing without saving the changes and thought I would be able to at least recover up to the previous 10min by renaming the last ac$ as a dwg; but when I looked in the directory there are no ac$ files, only .bak. I have just checked now and there is one ac$ file - for the currently open drawing. Why aren't the ac$ files being retained?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWe're using Premiere Pro Cc to edit a TV series, we went to save the project file and the application crashed, when we went to look for the project file, it's not there and the latest autosave file is three days old even though we've watched PP doing autosaves every 15 minutes. This happened a few months back and we lost the work. The only thing that may be relevant is that we're using a solid state drive, but it's always been very stable.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe "title bar" (with the red yellow green circle icons) is missing on my Photoshop Elements 11 window. It used to be there and I used it to move the picture window up to my secondary display; that way I can keep the command windows on my Macbook screen and they don't cover the picture. How to get the title bar back? I've looked under the view and window menu items and can't find anything. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it looks like some information was maintained after the de-install. The window came back to the same size it was before the uninstall.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI know Adobe hasn't seen fit to include an autosave function in any version of Photoshop. I consider that the height of arrogance and stupidity. Some will argue the time it takes to auto-save files doesn't justify it's inclusion. The time and effort in creating the work is equal justification for such a feature. Why should I have to remember to save every 10 minutes or so when I have no idea when the silly program will suddenly crash on me for no good or explained reason? Why should I be put through that kind of stress that will affect my creative workflow? As an alternative it would be helpful to find some third party software, plugin that would do the same thing. It would be good if it could be set to a timed response. An action might do it but it still require manual activation.
View 17 Replies View RelatedMy computer crashed last week and I had Photoshop Elements 9 installed on it. It has been quite a few years since I bought the program and I have since lost the disc during the multiple moves I've went through. Is there any way I could redownload it somehow without paying for it again? My computer is basically trash now so there's no real way for me to get the program off or deactivate it.

View 22 Replies View RelatedI'm an amateur artist who sometimes used, in Photoshop Elements 9, a filter in the "render" category that could change the lighting. It was terrific for creating things like candlelight, campfire glows, or (in this admittedly amateurish backdrop for my website) sunrises through objects. Now I have Photoshop Elements 12, and the feature has vanished! Is there a legal way to transfer it from 9 to 12, since it's all from the same company? Or would that violate the tampering ban even though it's from one Adobe product to another? If it's legal, where is the filter stored, and where do I move it to? URL...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI will try that with the lasso tool. But, my main concern is how to get the color back when using the brush tool, picking from the color box. All, I get now is the grey-rose color, for my brush, no matter which color I chose from the box. When I go to apply the color I have chosen, only the grey-rose color appears no matter what. How do I get back to picking the color and then it (the color chosen) appears on my image?
