Mar 8, 2014I found my photoshop elements having no Panorama function.
As per tutorial that fuction should be listed under File/New but there is not anything.

She can purchase elements 10 quite cheaply but the most handy tool for her will be the perspective function in crop but I am not sure whether it is a feature of elements 10.

Dec 31, 2013I can transfer files from the Organizer to the Editor, and complete editing, but when I Save it and try to close it, it fails and gives a message that it is only 95% complete. Nothing else happens. I cannot even delete the file which is only indicated by an hour gloass figure in the Organizer. Basically, I can't edit.

Nov 20, 2013Since I recently purchased a camera that the manufactor released after I aquired Elements11, I downloaded the update for thr RAW converter.
A problem has occurred. Eventhough I clicked the box in the Photo Downloader that says "After copying, do not delete originals" , the Import program deletes the RAW originals. It does not delete the JPEG originals that were downloaded at the same time as their twin RAW images.

Nov 20, 2012I have used Tech Support twice in past 4 months trying to get the Edit function to work. Have reinstalled program twice from an On-line download license. When attempting to open EDIT, the system either cycle for 30 seconds and then simply disappears, or a pop-up appears "PSE 10 has stopped working" and cycles for 30 seconds and then closes the program.

How can I turn it off and have a simple directory tree straight out of Windows to locate my images for processing. Paintshop Pro does this very well. I DO NOT need all the fancy bells and whistles found in Organizer.

Dec 8, 2013I've now finally got PSE12 installed. However the 'Add People' functionality is not working.
In the 'People' tab, when I click the 'Add People' button I get the 'preparing files' dialogue box. I then get a message saying "You have labelled everyone in your selection" (whether I've made a selection or not in 'Media'). I can 'add people' in an individual photo but not by clicking 'add people' either in Media or People view. This worked fine for me in PSE11.
I'm using Windows 7 and don't have any other PSE versions installed.

Sep 7, 2012when I right mouse click a picture in organizer to "set as desktop wallpaper" it sets the picture on the desktop as 4x3 only nopt 16x9 or widescreen.

Photoshop Elements :: Cannot Use Copy And Paste Function In PSE10?
Jan 6, 2013Today i went to copy and then paste an image onto another one,i could not use the copy or paste function(in pse 10). Only the paste function was usable and when i hit it it pasted the picture of an eagle onto the image. This eagle i had copied from a particular website(unrelated to photoshop) amd pasted it to a folder in windows live photo gallery. I tried deleting this eagle from the windows gallery,but still i could paste the eagle onto the other picture. And it created another layer with the picture of the eagle. Also as usual my lassoo tool is malfunctioning in pse 10? Maybe uninstalling and re-installing pse 10 would solve the problem.

My dad organized the hard drive in very vague categories (things like I:/photos/spring 2004/spring 2004 - 1. We are looking to change the folder structure to one that is easier to navigate (I:/photos/vacations/new york city 2003)We are trying to avoid loosing tags in the organizer.
I tried File -> Move with some of the photos. In one instance, it took the originals and moved them. In another it renamed the photos and copied them to their new destination.Should we go back and delete the originals once they are moved to their new location?
Photoshop Elements :: Image Resize Function Stopped Working
Oct 22, 2012I have been using Elements for quite a few years and have had no problem in resizing images until last week. I often use the option of resizing using the cm measurements I want. When I tried this on my laptop last week the programme would not allow me to change any of the figures in the resizing dialog box. I tried cm, pixels and percentage and none of them would work.
I tried a number of different images from one file but could not resize any of them however I opened an image from another file which I know i have resi9zed in the past and this time the function worked fine.
I copied the image I couldn't resize to my main computer which also has Photoshop Elements and the resize function worked fine on this computer.
I uninstalled Elements and then re-installed it on my laptop but still have the same problem. I also have Photosphop Cs4 on my laptop and the resize function has stopped working in this programme as well.

Sep 5, 2012Have just upgraded from Elements 9 to Elements 10 and used the File -> Rename function to rename 3000 files with a new Base name beginning 'Base' the process reported it had completed and did not provide any additional messages - but checking the result not all files were renamed and a large number were left behind with the original Base name.

Nov 13, 2012I'm trying to be able to have a function run another function with the secondary function being passed as an argument to the first. I'm trying to create a recursive function and the recursive part works great. I just need to be able to have the recursive function run other functions to actually do stuff.
Here is something I found that should do what I need, mainly run a function from a function name in a variable.

However I get the error "object required" on the "result = Application.Run(ftnName, argument)" line. So I'm guessing the Inventor VBA doesn't like this method of doing this. I'm just hoping there is a way to do this or this function will be useless or reduced to hardcoding functions which still defeats the purpose.
