I have just upgraded from PSE 5 to PSE 9 and cannot find a file count on the Browser as in PSE 5. How can I remove audio icon from photos, I don't know how they got there to begin with.
View 5 RepliesPSE 11 on Win 8 Pro. Scanned old slides onto an SD card and imported photos from SD card. Every photo imported in this manner has an "audio icon" but there is no audio attachment. I can remove the icon from each photo thumbnail individually, but I'm looking for a way to remove these empty audio captions en mass.

It is possible to place photos etc between clips by dragging to icon.
This is is Sceneview & I take it that Quick in Elements 7 is similar.
There are no such icons in Elements 11 and all atempts to get photos places these at end and then these have to be moved.
Exporting my photo’s from iPhoto to the desk top and then importing to Photoshop Organizer 11, ALL photo’s show “Missing File” icon (?) in the top left corner when I eliminate photo’s from iPhoto. Why do I have to keep photo’s in iPhoto? Is there a workaround?
If I import iPhoto photo’s directly within Organizer I loose photo information.
I just bought elements 12. Need to remove photos from an album. Nothing comes up in search & don't see menu option either. I tried right clicking ... nothing happens!

I watermarked alot of photos I took recently of a newborn and family, edited them and moved them to my Smugmug account only to realize that the watermark made in PS elements11 stays on during print. I need to remove those watermarks from my photos so that the family can order their prints ASAP. What do I need to do here? I still have all of the originals but they have the watermark stamped on them. Can I get it off?

View 9 Replies View RelatedRemoving the watermark from these photos?? if this is NOT something i should be posting, i will quickly exeunt. if it is something worth looking at, i would love to see the finished product/hang the images in my room. i just LOVE these pictures and i can't justify spending $60-$70 for a small print when its freely available online, just with a simple and annoying watermark.

I'm trying to work with a brag ad that will run in a high school football program. She's got 3 great photos of her son. I think that they would look better if 1-3 of them had the background taken out...
I don't need the photo(s) back until tomorrow. I'm thinking that I'm going to use them on either a Blue, Black or White background and the 'message' is going to be VERY simple!! Until I can spring for Photoshop - and commit to learning it - I'm just using Apple's Pages application to design these ads.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am using v X4.I have a video clip that contains audio that I split off into its own audio track, right click split audio. I then edited out a couple parks of the video replacing the cut video with a still image. right click replace video with still image. So far so great, everything plays back perfectly. When I put transitions in where the video meets the photo or when the photo then meets up with the video again the audio gets out of sync. Is there a way to get the transition in there and still have the audio track be in sync with the rest of the video?

I'm hoping to get some tips on new techniques I can use to blur or remove distracting backgrounds from photos.
The usual kinda photo I'm working with is a portrait of someone in a challenging situation where I have no control over the background, usually there are people and bright colored objects behind my subject.
First I applied lens-blur and masked the subject but it takes time and my subject is usually white and it creates a blurry edge that looks ugly but by masking back and forth and a little cloning I can usually make it nice but it takes to much time..
After doing that for some time I created a background with a pixelated mosaic filter, it looks nice and people are pleased with the result but the problem is that the squares sometimes bleed color on the edges what makes it time consuming again.
So long story short: How to take the focus of distracting backgrounds in a way that is fast to produce but looks classy at the same time?
