I have pemiere elements 10,when i get done with a project i can go to the session log file,select all-delete all.----i just bought photoshop 11, and it will not allow me to do this and the log already has a lot of in it, within 2 days.how to over ride'access denied?

I have tried to load my copy of CS4 from the disc but get the message file access denied.I've tried another laptop - same message - and my Lightroom loads ok.
I am using Windows 7, Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS5. My workflow is to download in LR, some editing, and then to finish in PS-
The first problem I saw first in LR when certain files had the message "Access denied to this file". I could not open, edit, move, nor copy these files, although other photos taken on the same day and downloaded at the same time were unaffected. These files can not be opened in any other program.
The second problem has happened to me twice now. I use two external hard drives - "Freecom F" and "Elements G". There is very little on G-only backups.
On opening LR I see that "G" has all the folders from "F" although they are all "missing". "F" drive does not appear at all in library mode, but if I try to import, then "F" appears, but all the images have the message "Appears to have been already imported to LR".
I have several photos which carry the message "File access denied". On the same folder there are photos taken on the same day which I can access. I dont believe that I have done anything to the photos outside of LR (4). I use Windows 7

I'm using Sheet Set Manager in Autocad 2011. I'm using 'page setup override', and as plot area 'print extents'. So far, so good. Until someone forgets something outside the title block, and the extents feature is not good anymore (several people working in the same projects).
So, I decide to use as plot area 'Layout' instead, typing the X & Y to determine the area to be plotted.
Now, the setup "override" doesn't override. It’s using the drawing plot area from the drawing itself, which completely defeats the purpose. Am I missing something?
I'm working on a collaborative process that involves taking a .dxf from autocad and editing it graphically in illustrator. The .dxf file needs to be updated periodically and we have a system where we update the .dxf, open it in illustrator (CS6) and then copy/paste the updated elements into the graphic document in progress. When pasted, the new paths sometimes retain attributes (like stroke color) from the .dxf file, beneath the graphic style attributes of the layer the new work was pasted into.

Is there a way to force the graphic style of the layer being pasted into to override any original attributes from the copied file?
I'm not talking about the "deactivate" menu being greyed out or anything. I can select it and then tick the checkbox to erase my serial-number, but when clicking on "Deactivate" and answering with "Yes", it takes about 2-3 seconds before I get a "Deactivation denied" message. I tried to call Adobe Support, but the woman I got on the phone was completely useless. She didn't understand what I wanted to do, and wanted to provide me with new activation details. I explained to her three times why that wouldn't work and she simply skipped ahead to the next useless response in her database. Here is what I'm trying to do: 1) Deactivate the entire CS4 Master Suite.2) Make a backup of the my HD3) Clean-install Windows 7 RC (can't upgrade from Vista Business)4) Install and activate CS4 Master Suite on Windows 7. If that works (including my other important software) then I would continue using that machine until Windows 7 final is released in October and then I would need to repeat steps 1-4 again (you can't upgrade the RC to the full version). If that doesn't work (or one of my important programs doesn't work) then I would use the back-up and re-activate CS4. Why is there a limit for deactivations? My E10 organizer has all of the thumb nails.  However, All photos taken in a vertical format, have yellow question marks. All but a very small number of Photos taken in the horzontal format do not have a ? mark. I cannot reconnect to any of img files.

I don't know if this is right, but from the little bit of research I did it thinks I am trying to add Elements again because the Elements program exe file starts with "Photoshop" so when it reads the Photoshop.exe file it thinks it is a duplicate. I tried creating a copy and renaming the Photoshop.exe file which almost worked. Elements allowed me to select it as a supplementary editor and afterwards Photoshop was an edit option. I tried to edit a photo with it and while the program opened, it then got an error message and ended up closing before the photo came up for editing.

use Photoshop as my editor. I really liked how I could edit in PS and keep a neat catalog of edited versions with the Elements versioning capability. If I can't do it I probably won't end up purchasing the PSE9 program.
I know that I have a photomerge feature with my Elements 10 but do not know how to access it.

It's installed but when I look at DVD templates I only get several choices and it's trying to download the templates - I thought the content disk contained many more...how does one access that content?
