Feb 3, 2012How can I print in black and white while using true colors? I've tried the monochrome ctb, monochrome stb, looking for solutions in these forums, etc. The std 255 colors are not a problem. It is only when I use a true color. When I tried the monochrome stb setting, the fill color on my multileaders did not change.
Also, in paperspace, with viewports that had solid objects in them, I used to be able to print and have hidden lines removed without them showing up that way in the viewport. (used 2008 at the time and have jumped from that to 2012)
I seem to remember that the was a variable command that controlled this but I can't remember it.

I would *like*, however, to plot a few things to PDF, but retain the view I have on my display - I.E., lines/labels of various colors and a BLACK background. I've been poking around for a bit, and if there's a way to make that setting, I'm no finding it. Everything I try has gotten me colored lines/labels on a white background.
Photoshop :: Color Picture To Color + Black And White
Dec 22, 2005I have a color picture which I took, of a red berry bush. I want to remove all the color except for the red from the berries. I know how to lasso the berries, but I can't remove the color from the bush/background and leave the red berries.
Note: I did this once a couple years ago, and can't remember how I did it..I have some memories, but probably remember just enough to make me dangerous. I have done some searches but obviously the results are numeorus and I haven't found what I am looking for yet.
I know the solution involves selecting the berries and then inversing it and then setting all 3 colors to 0 for the background.
What I can do is
1) lasso the berries
2) inverse
what I can't figure out
1) it seems like there was 1 step about layering which enabled me to get started, but I don't remember this, it does seem like I am missing something very basic when I try to do this
3) Where is the color scale, the only thing I can find is the grayscale option which switches the entire project to black and white.

Aug 14, 2011When I import an eps, or create a new object with a shape tool. The default style is a clear fill and a hairline CYMK black (0,0,0,100) outline. I think I know how to change it to true black (0,0,0,0), but when i import an eps or an illustrator file, it is coming in as CMYK black (0,0,0,100)

*click layer
*chose transparency
*added alpha channel*
*cut/lasso item out
*selected invert
*pressed delete on keyboard
*pressed select and none
I then get this picture which looks perfect right???
But when I copy and paste it or open file in paint or anywhere else it ends up like this? I want just the cut out and not the background too but no matter what I do the stupid thing comes with..

This has to do with the color that comes up on the screen regardless of the picture. It was black and I hit something and it is now blue. I want this to go back to black.

I have checked the inks and have checked the printer. When copying somthing staight from the printer the colours are perfect. I have only had this problem since I installed the above.
