Aug 19, 2009I use Photoshop 8.1I have to make 100 pictures of some car antenna cables. When I have those pictures, I need to cut them out.I think in english it is called crop. (I have dutch versionATM I am doing every picture manually as the are all different. IS there a macro or plugin that cuts out the pictures itself or even help out with it alot ?Getting a bit fedup with setting all the achor points and straighten the lines.

Dec 10, 2005I see in alot of graphics are precisely cut out. For instance i saw a graphic with a city in the background and in the lower foreground was a bunch of hands sticking up in the air (like a crowd with the hands held out into the air). Each hand was perfectly cut out though...each individual finger etc. How is that done? How do you precisely cut out things...do people jsut sit there, zoom in and spend there time accurately cutting out whats necassary? What tool is used?

All I can find is how to wrap text around object (i.e. word on a coffee cup image itself) or putting the actual picture as fill for the font.?
how to do this? I have included a PDF of a sample of what I'm trying to do.

KN (big letters in black)
kyushu and network (small letters that have to be in opposite color )

Aug 1, 2011I have downloaded an eps file, which I need to cut. I use a graphtec ce5000-60 cutter, and a plugin called cutting master 2 in order to use coreldraw.
when i select application launcher and choose cut / plot, it opens cutting master. when i do this, it only shows the 2 outer lines of the logo i need to cut. I have attached a screenshot so you can see exactly what I mean. I have tried lots of things to recitfy this, but as a complete beginner with this software, I really dont have a clue.Â

Aug 2, 2012Is there a way to cut a solid into two pieces using a non-planar cutting plane? I have been tasked with calculating the volume of concrete damage in a chute block. I have a sketch of the damage on the chute block. I created the chute block as a solid and then drew the damaged area extents using plines. This created non-planar plines. Is there a way to get this to work that will allow me to see the volume of the concrete damage? I need an easy way to do this, there are 50 chute blocks all the same size but with varying degrees of damage

Oct 8, 2012One of the features I was really looking forward to in CS6 was creating fillable forms with ONE application. I created a form following the step by step instructions in classroom in a book for CS6. When I opened the exported form in Reader X, I get a "This operation is not permitted" error. I opened the completed "end" document in the lesson to make sure I didn't commit an error, and I got the same message when exporting. I have looked for places in menus to modify security restrictions and I can't find any. I installed the updates and that didn't solve the issue.

I saw one solution posted which is to open the document in Acrobat, then do a "save as" option.  Is there anything we can do that doesn't involve buying additional software? If this is not the case, then Adobe seriously needs to change its training and advertising about this functionality.

Jul 1, 2013I am trying to cut a piece of the enclosed text/image. It is an h and I want to simply cut the the curly part of the h at the end so I can attach it to the end of another text f, but with me using a rectangle and the Clipview technique to do this I am getting a larger space for the entire image so when I attempt to change the colour the whole rectangle's colour changes.
how I can simply trim the end/curly side of the h without getting rid of the png style effect?

Dec 23, 2013I'm a creating a Right Click Menu on VBA Form to copy and paste text in Textboxes. I have got the code to work on one textboxt named "TextCat" in the Mouse up event. I would like to be able to use the same code on all textboxes (some in frames) on a form without having to duplicate this long bit of code and change the textbox name multiple times for every different textbox mouse up event. .

AutoCAD Inventor :: Create Combo List And Put It In Form Then In Text Into Symbol
Oct 30, 2012Create a form with combo box that user can choose one option for the line notes, would be 15 lines with 15 combos, and if necessary the user should be ale to type something insted of using that pre defined option from combo.
I have 2 ideas to make that work, untill now im trying with this 1º but nothing yet.
First Idea:
Create some (15) boolean parameters to enable each line of this NOTE and when the user choose or type one option, that text go directly to one textbox into a Symbol with the 15 lines. I actually dont know how to make this connection, tried some stuffs that found here on forum, but some are too complex.
Second idea:
Instead of create parameters to control everything, i would create all the controls by iLogic, but that is harder then create many and many parameters ? And by this way, i dont know how to conect one INPUTLIST BOX with a pre defined Global form, or, is easier to create a form by ilogic (if that is even posible ofc) ? And still dont know how to make the connection with the chosen option and the text box.
That is just to "centralize" all my notes, that can be variable for each drawing, that way i dont need to have too much symbols for each kind of note, or even have to type everytime that i need one diffent. Would be nice if the user could just choose them in the right sequence he wants.

Apr 12, 2005I do a little wedding photography and like to give the married couple a disc with all the un-edited pictures of the day for them to choose in the comfort of their own homes. The problem is i want to put text layer written 'SAMPLE' across each picture and then flatten each one before saving it to stop any editing on their behalf. Mar 15, 2005I am trying to create a document in Word that has "boxes" of text, peripheral to the main content, scattered through the text body. First, I want these areas of text to be circles and I want the text to wrap around them like it does the ovals you can create with the Word drawing tools.
The next thing I want is for the text inside these areas to conform to the internal shape of the circle.
My 1st problem is that any circle I create in photoshop, when inserted into the word document, has a square bounding box that the text wraps to. I can't seem to figure out how to save the photoshop picture so that it only contains the circular graphic, although I don't know if it is photoshop applying the square background or Word when I import the picture.
My 2nd problem is trying to fit the text within the graphic so that it fills it, wrapping to the inside border without manually adjusting every line and word. If there is some automated step I can use to achieve this I would love to know what it is.

Nov 24, 2007lets say i have a picture. I want to add text to it so it fits right into the background rather than having an artificial white border around the text. How do i do that?
Also, how do i remove text without deleting parts of the background as well, and how do i enter text so that it matches the text that is used in the picture?
Lets say i have a picture with the word "TEST" in it, with a certain font, size, color, etc. I want to add additional text with the exact same font, size, etc.

May 12, 2013Yesterday I installed Photoshop Elements 11 and everything worked great except I was unable to add text to pictures. This morning however the quick, guided, and expert toolbar is gone and I am only able to edit pictures in the quick mode. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled and that did not work.

Apr 10, 2013I am working on a form (global) and have added a picture with a parameter and a picture folder underneath. So that the picture displayed on my form will change depending on the parameter value.Here comes the trick. Only text parameters can be used!On the form editor only 'Text parameter' can be selected to drive the picture selection. I actually need an integer, so that i can use my User/Excel parameters from Inventor.
I can work this around with an iLogic rule to equal the value of my string Picture Parameter with the relevant integer Inventor parameter, but the rules need to be run before the pic and the form updates (by pressing the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the form and then the assy updates too. So this takes a couple of minutes)... whereas if it was an option on the form editor then the update would be instant without waiting for everything to update...
Is there a particular reason why the Picture Parameter only can be a text parameter?
