View 8 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded an eps file, which I need to cut. I use a graphtec ce5000-60 cutter, and a plugin called cutting master 2 in order to use coreldraw.
when i select application launcher and choose cut / plot, it opens cutting master. when i do this, it only shows the 2 outer lines of the logo i need to cut. I have attached a screenshot so you can see exactly what I mean. I have tried lots of things to recitfy this, but as a complete beginner with this software, I really dont have a clue.Â
Is there a way to cut a solid into two pieces using a non-planar cutting plane? I have been tasked with calculating the volume of concrete damage in a chute block. I have a sketch of the damage on the chute block. I created the chute block as a solid and then drew the damaged area extents using plines. This created non-planar plines. Is there a way to get this to work that will allow me to see the volume of the concrete damage? I need an easy way to do this, there are 50 chute blocks all the same size but with varying degrees of damage

It is an h and I want to simply cut the the curly part of the h at the end so I can attach it to the end of another text f, but with me using a rectangle and the Clipview technique to do this I am getting a larger space for the entire image so when I attempt to change the colour the whole rectangle's colour changes.
how I can simply trim the end/curly side of the h without getting rid of the png style effect?
why (sometimes) when I export text or graphics as .eps files to my cutter it cuts the same outline up to four to five times and ends up cutting right through the backing paper. I have been using postcut with various corel editions since 1997 with no problems until recently. It also cuts random lines through lines of text which is such an expensive pain in the ass.
I started to use the production manager in flexi sign to cut my designs and same thing happens, except for the random lines but it will make up to five cuts on some objects. All text and graphics are exported the same. Has something in corel newer versions changed in relation to this?
I made a design last night that included me cutting out a model from one of my photoshoots, so I did that... and then after all was said and done, I'm thinking she looks a little choppy and "dropped" into the photo. is there some way to make her look a little more smooth?
I got most of the edges cleaned up and used a feather, and even burned around the edges a tad to make it blend but it still looks very cut out.
I use Photoshop 8.1I have to make 100 pictures of some car antenna cables. When I have those pictures, I need to cut them out.I think in english it is called crop. One more question. Is it possible to align a selected item to the stage rather than to another object? Fireworks can align objects center of the stage or left, right, top, etc.

When trying to cut out an object on a digital photo and deleting the background I can't seem to delete the background. These are the steps I take.
1) Pen tool to cut out the object.
2) Make selection
3) Invert selection Ctrl+Alt+I
4) Delete Ctrl+D
It is step 4 that does not work, as the background does not delete.
I made a video tutorial on cutting out soft shadows in Photoshop that many of you may find useful.
