The file goes back to an older version or reverts to the way it was last time i edited it in photoshop, saying that - paraphrase("a slice which was present has been deleted.")

I have built a webpage in Photoshop7, i took it thru to imageReady, Sliced it, then previewed it in browser. thing is.. its Positioned to the left of my screen. the canvas i made it on in photoshop is 800x600, i used the guides to get the positioning correct and everything right.
I am trying to add links to an image and then add it to my web page...I have been trying to use the slice tool in photoshop which works great for the links but I can't seem to achieve a transparent background in the save for web...
Inside of photoshop the image is transparent and when I save for web (image) the map.png file is not created...map_01.png, map_02.png and all others are created but not the map.png file When I have saved for web (html) I have tried inserting the html into an iframe on the page and the image looks and functions correctly but there is no transparent background because it is an <iframe> and not the actual .png.
I used to assign certain width numbers for my psd webpages but it creates horizontal scroll bars on small monitors.
Can i do something with my psd file using photoshop in order to make the webpage fit all screen sizes? I don't like horizontal scrollbars appearing when my site loads. On the other hand, I also don't like un-necessary space appearing on large screens when my site loads. I use photoshop 7.
I use Dreamweaver and HTMl to make webpages. I was going to try to make a page using PS 2.
How big should I make the image? Should I set the image as a BG or a image in DW8? Resolution? How does the browser resize the image from PS? It doesn't automatically fit to the page does it?
I want to make navigation buttons. If not too detailed, I would like to try some roll over buttons.
In Photoshop Elements I created a banner, 900 x 200 pixels, for a website. I used a few layers, one for text, one for graphics and background. In Elements everything is crystal clear, but when I import it to the website it seems to be a bit out of focus, a little blurry. In Elements I saved the file with ‘save for web’ with the quality at 100%, the resolution at 72 DPI. How do I make the finished image on the site as clear as in Elements?
I'm creating my first webpage design. Now I'd like to put it in a forum to get some feedback. But I'm worried that someone could steal the design right away from the presented gif file... How could I protect my work? With watermarks? Do you even think, it's important to protect it?
What was the last version of CS to include the creation of web pages as part of Automate in the File dropdown? I've tried to reinstall the original CS on a separate machine, which fails, since it does not make nice with my current version, and the Adobe folks are ABOLUTELY NO.
While making seamless tiles in XX I want to stop and view them as a webpage to make sure they are working correctly. I thought XX had this function but I've lost how to do it. Am I just remembering incorrectly? If so, is there an easy way to do this without having to use an HTML document to test it (which is how I'm doing it right now)?
i have to develop one image in Adobe Illustror image manipulation tool and i have our customized plug in for uploading the image which we created by AI with the extenion .ai. the plugin will upload the image to our tool and it has to render when we refer the image in the particular webpage. But we are getting "Blank page" instead of the image.
What file settings and image sizing (eg- quality, resolution, colour space, pixels etc) should I use to upload photos to my webpage? I dont want to use the web galleries tool.
I'm trying to see why one of my test machines won't export (never shows any submitted jobs under the jobs tab.) Through several other posts, oftentimes the user is asked to check the back burner web page. (localhost/backburner.) I must be doing something wrong, but I'm unable to access anything this way. I've tried all possible names for my localhost. ie. comp name, ip address, etc. I just get a 404 not found error.
I am trying to paste a highly detailed ASCII artwork from a webpage into illustrator. Illustrator is aligning the text (at least as far as I can tell) to the left and distorting the artwork.
I got my logo and the online company sent it in low resolution, I asked for the proper resolution for my web page and the company sent me this :
The AI (Vector) file(s) in the zip file are to be utilized for all high-res. And commercial printing applications. It is an Adobe Illustrator file and can only be opened and/or utilized if you have this professional design software. All commercial printers will have access to utilize these files.
I got the adobe illustrator and I am trying to fix the logo and just can not get the size.
I've written a script with a ScriptUI interface, which other people will be using. I'd like to include a 'help' button in the interface, which ideally would connect to a web page with more details. (The alternative is to create the 'help' window in javascript, but the web page already exists and it would be a shame not to use it.)
From what I've read, other Creative Suite programs may be able to connect to the web with javascript, but apparently not Illustrator.
I am trying to create an oval image for a button on a webpage. I make the canvas size about 90x40 and then select the ellipse tool and fill the canvas with it. I then bucket fill the circle/oval with a green color. How do I knock the rest of the white corners out of the image? I only want to green oval to be the final jpg.
Anyway, I have a simple graphic that has a white background. I want to put it on a webpage that is not white. So I want the white area on the graphic to be transparent.
Having one heck of a time taking a Camtasia Video and putting it in a web page to automatically start when the page is loaded.
Camtasia can produce a wide variety of formats but which one works best with Corel?
I do have a sample that I finally got to work and it's at [URL] ..... but that was created with powerpoint and video recorded with Jing (produced by the same people that make Camtasia Studio, only free).
I tried to make a swf but the resulting file requires the preloader for an "index" page that is written in html by Camtasia.
I'm trying to Sign In inside CorelDraw X6 using Help->Sign In. A new windows pop up requesting my email and password. I indicate my credentials and click on "Sign in". But then I get this error: "This program cannot display the webpage. Most likely causes:You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address"
But I am connected to internet. If I click on Account settings it works. The main problem that I have is that for any updates I need to Sign in but I get the same error!
When I attempt to "authorize" Lightroom to access my Facebook account I get a "webpage cannot be accessed" and the address [url].... and a ridiculously long string of jibberish afterward. Same thing happens with the built in publish service for Flickr.
I have designed a layout in Illustrator (CS5.1) for a webpage. I save for web with transparency and when I view in a browser there is a gray outline of the artboard from illustrator. How to remove this outline?
