View 5 RepliesI am building a website with corel draw for the first time.
Many things I know them because I had been using Core PaintX3 for ages.
I downloaded a demo of Corel DrawX5 for web design
What I need is how I can optimized the page to be in the center of the web browser
I found something here but it is chinese for me. [URL] .....
I'm trying to Sign In inside CorelDraw X6 using Help->Sign In. A new windows pop up requesting my email and password. I indicate my credentials and click on "Sign in". But then I get this error: "This program cannot display the webpage. Most likely causes:You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address"
But I am connected to internet. If I click on Account settings it works. The main problem that I have is that for any updates I need to Sign in but I get the same error!
I'm trying to vertically center text in a cell (in a table of course). So far, I have tried Align and Distribute when the cell is active, using text selector. I have also tried selecting table tool and highlight a column, then trying Align and Distribute functions. Both are no-go.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was trying to use the guides to make a triangle and everything was fine until I used a third guide on one of the triangles points (2 guides; 1 at 90 degrees and 1 at 60 degrees). When I used the dimension tool on it to measure from the bottom of the page to that point, the measurement did not match the numbers in the 90 degree guide's info. It was like .0000007 or .00000007 inches off. I know that's not much but I really needed precision for my particular drawing and I dont know how to get more accurate measurements with the program rounding to the nearest 6th decimal place (the highest setting on drawing precision). If it says it's centered in the intersection, then why do I see a tiny micro right triangle when I zoom in?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWill Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
I've used photoshop 7 for a while, I have not found a way to find the center of an image. Is there a way to do that? Such as if I were going to put my sig at the bottem but centered on the image. Without it looking... lopsided.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use File>Edit in Image Ready
The file goes back to an older version or reverts to the way it was last time i edited it in photoshop, saying that - paraphrase("a slice which was present has been deleted.")
I've tried deleting all slices.
i have designed a website with buttons header images, product details etc, now i have the design ready.
it is in .psd format, so now what i want is to implement this design into a webpage, i want distribute different sections or portions of the design, now i dont find any such function in photoshop 7.0
what should i do ?
do i have to cut the different portions manually to create .gif files.
I have built a webpage in Photoshop7, i took it thru to imageReady, Sliced it, then previewed it in browser. thing is.. its Positioned to the left of my screen. the canvas i made it on in photoshop is 800x600, i used the guides to get the positioning correct and everything right.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhile making seamless tiles in XX I want to stop and view them as a webpage to make sure they are working correctly. I thought XX had this function but I've lost how to do it. Am I just remembering incorrectly? If so, is there an easy way to do this without having to use an HTML document to test it (which is how I'm doing it right now)?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever I've got an image and Im placing text on it, I try to drag it to the middle of my 100X30 Pixel blank image, but photoshop will either allow me to move it side to side, or the top of my text hugs the top of my image, or the bottom of my text has to hug the bottom of the image. I can't just put my text in the center of my 100X30 .
Is there some preset I need to turn off in order to move this text around freely and place wherever. I want to be able to have my text in the center and not have any of it touching any of the sides.
1) I'd like to center certain compotents of my image into sections of the frame. I'm trying to go about this by creating my sections with the slice tool. Then, for any objects within that slice, I select it, but then I'm at a loss. How do I center the objects within my selection, and for that matter, how to I tell it that I want it to be centered in the sliced section only?
2) I'm trying to draw simple lines with the Line Tool, but I get this huge arrow instead of a line. I don't want an arrow, and I only want it to be 1 pixel thick. How can I do this?
I have several menu items I must enter type into.
How do I center the type automatically?
Im a total noob to photoshop, but Ive decided to make it my new hobby and am trying to learn everythin about it I can, but the going is a little slow.. Ive been doing good so far, but I have had a proble with centering within selections or images.. is ther a shortcut key to place my selection tool in the exact center of an image? another problem i am having is creating my own patterns.. is ee the pattern maker.. but I make a pattern and cant save it it.. and cant apply it using the pattern stamp.. how dop i make my own patterns?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am working with some images and text. I would like to align the images/text to the center of the canvas.
Is there a quick and easy way to do this? I have been manually measuring it out and the project I am working on is taking a lot longer because of it.
I am trying to add links to an image and then add it to my web page...I have been trying to use the slice tool in photoshop which works great for the links but I can't seem to achieve a transparent background in the save for web...
Inside of photoshop the image is transparent and when I save for web (image) the map.png file is not created...map_01.png, map_02.png and all others are created but not the map.png file When I have saved for web (html) I have tried inserting the html into an iframe on the page and the image looks and functions correctly but there is no transparent background because it is an <iframe> and not the actual .png.
I used to assign certain width numbers for my psd webpages but it creates horizontal scroll bars on small monitors.
Can i do something with my psd file using photoshop in order to make the webpage fit all screen sizes? I don't like horizontal scrollbars appearing when my site loads. On the other hand, I also don't like un-necessary space appearing on large screens when my site loads. I use photoshop 7.
I use Dreamweaver and HTMl to make webpages. I was going to try to make a page using PS 2.
How big should I make the image? Should I set the image as a BG or a image in DW8? Resolution?
How does the browser resize the image from PS? It doesn't automatically fit to the page does it?
I want to make navigation buttons. If not too detailed, I would like to try some roll over buttons.
I want to know what is the appropriate size(width and height in pixel) of a webpage interface?
It would take a long time to load if the size is too big, but I wouldn't be able to add too much content on the page if the interface is too small.
how to add drop shadows on backgrounds (header, footer, sides) for my blog.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn Photoshop Elements I created a banner, 900 x 200 pixels, for a website. I used a few layers, one for text, one for graphics and background. In Elements everything is crystal clear, but when I import it to the website it seems to be a bit out of focus, a little blurry. In Elements I saved the file with ‘save for web’ with the quality at 100%, the resolution at 72 DPI. How do I make the finished image on the site as clear as in Elements?

What is the quickest way to centre a selection horizontally? IOW, the equivalent of using Objects > Align > Horz. Center in Canvas (Alt+o+a+z).
I often need to do this to shift titles if I've prematurely merged text layers into the background.
I'm sure there has to be an easy way to crop a video and center it, but I can't figure it out. I don't want the video zooming in and out, no panning, etc. Just simply cropping and centering.

View 10 Replies View RelatedQ1: I am trying to do something that has always baffled me in 3ds Max. Something very easy to do in AutoCAD! Being a technical animator alot of my client supplied models are often missing components. Most notably bolts and other fasteners! This tends to look bad if they are missing so I take the time to put the proper fastener (in the EXACT center) of each hole. Pretty easy to do with AutoCAD snaps and a solid model but what about 3ds max?
Q2: The motor when imported from an ACIS file has the pivot set to the center of the motor. Unfortunately this pivot is off center of the motor shaft because of the electrical box on the side. How can I move the pivot to the center of the motor shaft accurately? Can I somehow move the pivot to the center of a sub-object shaft selection? Having this pivot (or an appropriate dummy object) at the exact center is critical when aligning other rotating objects. Otherwise the wobble looks bad!
The attached images is a motor (body object) with four bolt holes in the base that need to be filled with the bolt (4 times). how I might achieve this easily as well as Q2. Keep in mind that I will be doing this for hundreds of bolts in some cases.
