View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to center a logo for a website header. Unfortunately, the website builder I'm using won't let me center my image (or I can't figure it out).
The jpeg I want to center is 331x250. I need to center it in a 1000 pixel horizontal space and 331 vertical. I thought I could put the image on top of a white background/image at 1000x331px and center it.
Seems like Layers is what I need, but I can't seem to figure it out. I've watched the tutorial on Layers and am still lost.
Trying to use Adobe Edge to get faded header images on my website. Was referred to Adobe Edge because it is supposed to be easy for beginners. I was able to upload my images, but then there was no instruction/direction on what to do next. Everything I clicked just brought me somewhere else. Every time I tried adding coding to my page, it messed it up.
View 3 Replies View Relatedusing Gimp to create a website header that includes image mapping. I figured out how (Filters > Web > Image Map). I just can't figure out how to save it in a format that I can then upload to a Bandcamp website.
I can open a graphic in Gimp that I made in Powerpoint. A second window opens with the same graphic and that is where I add the image mapping. So now how do I save it so that when I upload it the tags are there? Or am I supposed to copy all the tags and then paste that code? I can find the place in Bandcamp where the code gets pasted - but I haven't yet figured out how to copy the code.
So I want to to create an animated header like the one on the link below. I would prefer to use Paint.Net but I also have Photoshop if necessary. So my question is what would be the best route for creating this effect without the use of flash? (I expect that there is going to have to be code thats going to go into my website for this to happen whether that be html or javascript)

I'm on PS CS4 and an intel iMac. This may seem obvious to others, but I can't figure how the adobe navigation images (here at the top) are made. There seems to be something beyond just a gradient that is more texture oriented.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm interested in creating an interactive 3D website, the kind you move the mouse to the left and the background slides to the right; mouseover on an object and it triggers an animation and so on. Basically I'd like to use my knownledge on Max as my main weapon and not Flash - I know nothing about Flash. I know there're some third party software that do the integration, but never explored it yet.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a very high quality crips website logo using Photoshop or Illustrator, but everytime I export the design into PNG, the text borders are not as crip compared with Google logo. How do I create a very crips and sharp logo using Adobe software? What software, how to export, what the size of the document should be, what resolution, any detailed tricks, designs and pointers..I know I can create a logo, but it is blurry and it shows. When I put my logo on a gray background for instance, the text becomes more blurrier.
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow do you make embossed labels?
This is probably simple compared to some of the questions that get asked here but I am not getting any answers anywhere else.
I know it is probably just a style but I can't get it right. I have an action to do it but it makes it to small and I need it for scrapbooking.
For some reason some of my filters seem to only work as "embossed." I don't get it. If I try to place a cross-hatch over the entire layer only the edges seem to be affected.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI would like to create a background paper like you see here:
I've tried every combination of bevel/emboss in the layer style with inner glow, outer glow, drop shadows added, but I can't get close to the example. Maybe the layer style of bevel/emboss is not the starting point.
I have a lot of photos with embossed paper in my family archive. I tried to use:Fast Fourier transform plugin Converting multiple scans to smart-object with median or mean stacking mode Many noise reduction filters (Noise Ninja, etc.)But I did not get the ideal result. How can I remove embossing paper pattern and get good result?
In attach crop of original scan (original-crop.jpg) and mean stack (mean-stack-crop.jpg) from multiple scans.
P.S. What I have: old photos, HP G3110, Digital SLR Olympus E 450, Adobe Photoshop CS6.
it comes to creating websites in Photoshop and slicing them, exporting them etc. I had created a web page, sliced it up and had it imported from my WYSIWYG editor. However, I find that when I type quite an excessive length of text in my content cells, that were previously slices as they were deleted, my images go weird. I have attempted to rectify this problem a dozen times, but I have had no luck. I want it so that my content cells accompanied by images expand if the text spans more than its default length without the images going weird.
I am currently using Photoshop 7.0, Image Ready 7.0 for slicing and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX.
I want embossed type in a form that lightens the underlying image on the highlight side of the embossing and darkens on the shadow side, but leaves the body of the type transparent. How would I do that? I'd be applying some amount of transparency to the text layer, so the type doesn't totally obcure the underlying image.
I generally apply a fairly transparent version of a copyright image in Lightroom, to keep it unobtrusive but still legible, if you really look for it. See the bottom left of the pictures at URL.... I created that copyright image in GIMP or something, but I need to generate some more, and I'd really like to stay in Photoshop.
How do I add a copyright sign and name as a faint embossed watermark to images?

View 14 Replies View RelatedThe problem certainly has been discussed all over the place, but I've yet to find an answer in all of my research. And the problem hasn't been limited to only CS6 (earliest reported cases involve CS2), but that's what I'm in now...
Given:
Win7 Pro SP1 64-bit
8 GB RAM
CS6 Extended 64-bit
Issue:
Print screen image 01 captured (using the PrtScn key on the keyboard) to Windows' clipboard pastes into Photoshop document. Print screen image 02 captured to Windows' clipboard does not paste into Photoshop document, but instead image 01. Delete unwanted layer and capture image 02 again, and this time Photoshop pastes in image 02. Curiously, the problem is not remedied by Photoshop's menu Edit, Purge, Clipboard.
This problem does not occur in other applications like in Paint for example - only in Photoshop.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to acheive this through the iPart table. I started by making 2 User Parameters multi-value but came to an abrupt halt as I can't see them in the Table.
