CS6 & 5: Images (document frames) open in the extreme top right corner of my saved workspace, with the left margin of the image obscured by my toolbar. Is there a way to change this default so they open in a more user-friendly centralized position in the workspace?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have multipage (16 pages) document with linked frames of paragraph text. Every page consists of 2 linked frames of paragraph text and second one is linked to the first one of the next page. When printed, it prints only first two pages as a whole. And the 3-rd and all the others prints only first frame of the page and two rows of the second frame of the page.
Is this my printer (Canon LBP3010) or the CorelDRAW ?
BTW: Paste 16 pages from WORD to Corel X6 takes infinity and crashes. In Corel 9 it takes about a minute for 80 pages!
I been using the CS6 extended 30 day trial, still have 13 days. left. I used to open the video frames for (gif) sas avi files with ease. All of a sudden I couldn't open any video frames anymore, why is that? They used to be opened with ease. Now when I clicked import video frames to layers it always comes back to the message 'cannot open video frames to layers because the file cannot be opened'. It all worked with the same file before so why didn't it work now?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am animating a polygon mesh with bones using a CAT rig. Whenever I go to the Curve editor in order to change the Frames or Values in the Key Entry: Tack View, the tangent button icons start to flicker and I'm unable to type in a value with the keyboard for about 15-30 sec until the flickering stops.
Never the less the mouse functions are still given and I can manipulate the tangents manually, but it's especially frustrating when I want to set the Global or Local Weights of the CAT rig to 100% or if I want to work proper.
I have the SP1 and HF2 for 3DS 2012 installed.

So, I'd like to know if it's an issue with the program/version or the hardware.
I'm having a rough time with the new Photoshop way of always having it's big honkin interface blocking my view when there's no document. Yes I can mouse up and hide PS but I rather click thru the space where the document USED to be but when closed, reveals all underneath it. Is a way of getting rid of the do-nothing-when-empty photoshop chrome?

This is a neat trick as it allows document to be worked on without continually zooming in and zooming out to see how it all looks.
CS6 Thinks It Has an Unsaved Document Open But it doesn't. Yesterday I did some testing that resulted in a Photoshop crash that was likely due to a bad font. I restarted Photoshop several times after that and did some testing, then just left Photoshop minimized all night.
Today I went to close Photoshop and got an indication that it thinks a PSB document is open, with the same name as the PSD file I was testing with yesterday when Ps crashed.
I assume this may be somehow related to the AutoSave feature, but the file never opened upon restarting Photoshop.
I am trying to duplicate a layer to another open document.
The problem is that it is not visible at all at the new document once the duplication procedure is complete.
Although the layers panel depicts the duplicated layer plus the usual backg. layer, in the document/canvas itself i do not see the layer which by the way is an icon.
I have in design when i open a new document it says 51p0 instead of inches.. how do i fix it ?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am a high school art teacher and this happened to one of my students. He was working on a PSD file, vectoring an image when PS6 quit unexpectedy. Now when we try to open the file there is an error message "Could not complete your request because it is not a valid Photoshop document." It still has the .psd extension. We are using Mac OS10.8.2. I tried opening it in Illustrator, Preview and Graphic Coverter without success.

I am using Photoshop CS2 (9.0.2) on Windows XP (SP2). Whenever I open an image file using PS, the document window constrains itself to the dimensions of the image (IE: if the image file is 20cm X 15cm, the document window opens to 20cm X 15cm dimensions). I have to close the original file, find the file then open it. Very time consuming and also confusing if you are working fast. On my Mac if i save a document in Photoshop, doing a save as, it saves the doc, and opens it right there and you just continue to work.

How to go about making it only change the color of text frames on the active layer? In the final script I will hide all other layers so if it could be done by a visible attribute more easily that would work just as well.
I often use a photoshop template to create work and was wondering id there was a way to select all items that use a particular swatch color and change them to another swatch color? Right now, I have to find each instance I use that particular color and change them one by one to the new color and was trying to find a better way to do this.
