I am using windows 7 and I installed photoshop cs6 extended.after I installed it, copy css doesn't show up on the right click panel.I've just searched for the update for extended. But update only available on Macintosh.
View 1 RepliesI have a keyboard shortcut for Copy (see directly below). This command doesn't copy multiple. But if I type "Copy" at the comment prompt (AutoCAD 2013) the copy multiple is the default. Copymode is already set to "0".

I have an Epson scanner and have updated to their latest drivers, and still CS3 doesn't see it. Is there a plug-in that I need?

I was using photoshop when an error came up about my Nvidia. I didnt read it and i just clicked on OK. Whenever i click on photoshop the blue box thing with all the creators names does not show up. All other adobe products work fine. The version of photoshop i use is CS6.

When I add a layer to a photoshop file, flatten and save, the preview only shows the layer that I added, not the whole file. See info window below. It causes problems when I send it to other people, they think I haven't sent the correct file. How do I get that preview to update?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been having trouble with the reselect tool for a while now. I often select something and then use new layer via copy ( J). The problem is that I cannot reselect after doing that (the option is grayed out), and it doesn't matter if I do the new layer copy with the shortcut or menu.
I am using CS5 with Mac 10.8.4, just recently switched from 10.6.8 (it hasn't worked in either). I do know that I have successfully used reselect after J before, but it was on a work computer -- I believe that computer was running 10.6.8 but it might have been CS4 if I recall correctly.
There are definitely workarounds like saving a selection or path, but they are still a little slower to use when it is something that I don't need to keep around for a while. I sometimes can use command-click on the layer icon but that selects the newly copied pixels, which can sometimes be different than what I had selected -- for example, if I copied a portion of a layer of linework, it will select the lines alone but not the area that I had.
Why doesn't CS2 photoshop do a copy paste when you want to merge 2 images liek it does in CS3 photoshop.I can never print screen the image to start off in CS2 photoshop.

Everything works fine except when I choose "Edit in Photoshop CS6", work on the image in Photoshop then save it. It gets saved back to the same folder as the original file, but when I tab back to Lightroom it just shows a square tile with a question mark instead of the new file. Tapping on the exclamation mark reveals that Lightroom thinks the new file is supposed to be in /Users/Lightroom Photos/…
For example the dialog box might say:
“_DSC3047-Edit.tif” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?

When in reality the original and the edit are both in /Volumes/Users/Lightroom Photos/2012/2012-12-08/ and there is not, and never was a /Users/Lightroom Photos/…
That is, something about saving back from Photoshop stripped off the "/Volumes/" from the beginning of the path. I can choose Locate and find it right where it should be and it will show up. Once it shows up the image tile shows the image but has an exclamation mark; tapping on that brings up a dialog box that says:
The metadata for this photo has been changed by both Lightroom and another application. Should Lightroom import settings from disk or overwrite disk settings with those from the catalog?
This is on a Mac and so /Users does exist but that maps to /Volumes/Macintosh HD/Users. I wonder if either LR or PS is confused by there being a /Users and a /Volumes/Users.
Editing in a Nik Plugin (e.g. Silver Efx) works properly, FWIW.
I am using LR4.2 and PS CS6 13.0.1 on OS X 10.8.2.
