I have Arial Narrow Bold etc. installed in the Windows fonts folder but it still doesn't show in Photoshop CS6. Arial Narrow shows but not the bold version. It shows up in InDesign, however.

I have Installed the Creative Suite 6 with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator under Windows 7 Professional 32bit. A customer specific font has been installed in Windows and shows up in Notepad, Microsoft Office 2010 and other programs including Photoshop CS6. For InDesign I had to copy it to the "Programdirectory"Fonts folder and this worked fine. Only Illustrator CS6 doesn't show this Font (a TrueType font "cust.ttf") as available when I want to format a text with it. I've searched Google and Adobe but no luck so far. Based on other articles I also renamed the "IllustratorFonts.lst file - but also to no avail...

I purchasde a new Pc with Windows 8, and the Photoshop and Bridge Interface is not readable, it is miniscule, Adobe, Microsoft and DEll cannot fix problem. So I am returning my PC, and need to purchase a new one, if the font is big enough, say size 12 or 14 (normal size) on window 7?
When I resize the photo image, I loose the outline which matches the workspace color. How to I change the outline color?
View 19 Replies View RelatedJust changed to Illustator CS and now when we save with Tiff preview (opaque) and the graphic is imported into Word on a Windows box there is no preview (just a blank box). The file prints correctly. The preview shows ok on Word on a Mac. Anyone have any ideas?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI created a skeleton and now i want to derive the sketches and planes to other parts. It worked for a while, but now it does not work!
The problem is when I create a new .ipt and then I would like to Derive an other part in it. I click on the file from the browser, it puts the part into the .ipt, well, sort of, it's like a visual effect, but NO Derive window appears afterwards, so I cannot edit which sketch or parameter or planes...etc.. I chose to actually derive to the .ipt.
I just tried to open a CorelDRAW document on my other computer where I'm obviously missing one of the document's fonts.
Problem:
The CorelDRAW font substitution dialog does not list the missing fonts:Â
Thus, it's impossible to install them to get the document working as expected.x.

I installed some True Type fonts on my machine the other day and I noticed that Photoshop does not include them in its list of fonts. Other True Type fonts that I installed in the past are recognized and included.
Is there some way I can get Photoshop to "see" fonts when it does not do so on its own?
I sure would like to be able to use the fonts with Photoshop. I know that some of the ones I installed worked on previous versions of PS.

I had uninstalled and re-installed the program twice now with no change. My operating system is Windows XP Pro.
Roboto font (by Google) is installed on Windows 7 system, but the regular weight is missing in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign (both CS6 and CC, and same issue in Windows 8).

All weights are installed properly, the only one not listed in adobe programs is Roboto-Regular.ttf.
I've installed some new fonts into my windows vista. The fonts were successfully installed and a check in Office reflected the new fonts. when i opened CS4, these fonts were not found in the list of characters.

CS6 Adobe Photoshop Extended (64 bit) installed on Windows 8 will not update. Adobe Application Manager opens with message as shown below. I use Kaspersky Internet Security which I am not very familiar with as yet. I tried to update after turning firewall off without success.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMost of the designs require some unique font to get the desired effect. Most likely, we'd search the web for one, download it, use it and discard it. We don't wanna keep all these single-use fonts installed. It would be great if we can load a font in to PDN by just browsing for it using a file dialog. I think Photoshop lets you drag and drop a font to its main window and till let you use it for that session. When you exit the application, the font is unloaded.
Can this be supported? Of course, there is a workaround: Use a font manager app. But, I think it's a pretty good feature to have in a image editor never the less
after installing new fonts I downloaded, I cannot get a sample, or even the name listed, of the font in the character panel of any of the new fonts. All the previously installed fonts show up fine. The new fonts have samples in Photoshop, Microsoft Word, etc, just not in Illustrator. Is there some way I can change this in Illustrator?

If I attempt to crop a portrait format photo e.g. 2009px x 3034px to 1920 x 2400, the crop frame for the width falls outside the photo. Cropping a landscape photo works correctly but the problem persists even if the portrait photo is rotated to 'landscape'.If I crop the same portrait photo on an XP system, there is no problem.

I got calls from 3 of the DRAW users that some of the fonts are not displaying correctly since they have updated their Windows today. I have not yet connected my laptop to internet. Shall check it and try to identify the culprit update.Few fonts known for not displaying correctly since today.
