View 2 RepliesI am photographing 2 1/4 negatives with a CANON 50D and macro lens. Then in Photoshop CS3 I was looking for the filter to convert the negative film file into a positive file so I can work on it with Adobe and then print in on my Canon printer.. I have tried to sample the orange base color and take that out and then invert and then increased the contrast curve.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have created a column graph with a large amount of data. I would like to apply two different colors to the positive and negative columns. Whenever I click on a column and go to object>graph> the column section is unavailable. I checked to see if the graph had become ungrouped, even though I never selected it. If I select the graph as a whole it does not say ungrouped. When I select a column the ungroup tab is greyed out. Does that mean my columns are ungrouped?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have in the past needed to create filters that had both a positive AND a negative in the parameters.
One of my most common examples: Layers in a specific XRef with names that do not contain specific string.
I tried XRefName|*[~anno]* and it gave me ALL the layers from the XRef (including the ones with anno in the name).
I also tried XRefName|*~anno* and it didn't list ANY layers.
It it possible to do this? I've read throught the docs on using wildcards in the filter properties but don't see anything.
I need a plugin that can invert positive and negative space with transparency.
Example: I have a filled square in the middle of a transparent image. I use the plugin, and the square is now transparent, where as the originally transparent space is now filled.
Visual example:
Of course, I need this to do more complex shapes. Also notice the blur is accounted for.
I can scan and preview an b/w negative but it will not show up on the work screen after being scaned. I can scan a b/w neg and then reverse it to a positive for printing !!!!!!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to image trace this photo to create logo. However the way the logo will be applied means that there can be no negative space less than .35mm or 1pt or the heat transfer will have them blend together.
How can I image trace while maintain all spaces (both positive and negative) are atleast 1pt sq?
Is there a way to convert from Canon Raw to Adobe Digital Negative (dng) while retaining the file name? For instance, I would like for "IMG_1709.CR2" to become "IMG_1709.dng" rather than New "File01.dng". Currently, it seems to force me into choosing a new file name. I want the file to be converted but want to retain the portion of the filename that appears in front of the "." (dot).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nikon D5100 camera. trying to convert camera RAW files (NEF) using Adobe Digital Negative Conversion Program (version 6.7.0.333) ---- I downloaded files from SD card to Folder on desktop. When running ADNC conversion a prompt appears that says " The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files". However when I open the folder there are Nikon raw files (NEF) visible in the folder. I then tried to uninstall the ADNC program however I was unable to "locate" program to uninstall it. So I reinstalled program over the original program.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've not seen it mentioned anywhere so I must ask. When in 3D modelling, is it possible to set AutoCAD to constrain drawing and movement in only the positive Z axis? I'd like to draw obviously in the XY plane but also only in positive Z (above ground?). I don't think i'll ever need to draw anything in the negative Z plane, which by my understanding would be actually underground (correct??). If it is at all possible to constrain in the positive Z plane, would there be a way to temporarily over ride this for the times I may need to Press Pull a hole out of a solid?
I have this strange knack of drawing in Top view in a left viewport (model space) then extruding in the right SW viewport then sometimes when I try ti move objects the end up underground (negative Z plane).
I am having a problem when attempting to measure the volume of a solid in Autocad Civil 3d 2013. It returns an error: "One or more diagonal terms are not positive." I have run a check from solidedit and it returns as a valid solid.

I want to create a positive form of the inside of a differential housing.
My idea was to put two planes on the edges of the housing. Then using the Sculpt Tool to create a New Solid of the inside of the housing.
With the Derive Tool i could seperate the two Solid Forms from each other.BUT... When I want to create a New Solid with the Sculpt Tool I get the error ' Create Sculpt feature failed'.
I've tried to Derive the part to a Sureface model, but that didn't work.
I wish to limit the user input of and edittext to only allow a positive number, float or int. I do not yet know my Regex good enough to do this. I realize that I must get better at regex but in the meantime how to do this ?
I have used this so far on the edittext:
function checkTextInput()
{
if (this.text.match(/[^0-9.]/g))
{
this.text = this.text.replace(/[^0-9.]/g, "");
}
}
Which matches
000.0001
0.45.000.1
...1
which is not desired.
Desired is
0.n
.n
n.n
I'm want to reproduce a differential housing. Therefor I need a part which is identical to the inside of the housing. In other words, I need a positive part inside of the housing.
I've tried to do this with Derived parts by placing the differential housing in a large block. But then I get a block where lining of the housing is missing. So i can't do anything with this derived part.
I have attempt to upload the file, but it is too large. Even when i try to compress it.
I have a digital camera and want to get a poster size print done. The places that I talk to though, say that they need a negative. Can I invert the image in Photoshop and print on a transparency? Does anyone have any suggestions?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI know there is probably an easy answer to this, but if i have a black and white image, how do i get the "negative" of it...

What filter do I use to take a picture I have and make it look like a negative? I just want to flip all the colors from what they are to there opposites. Black to white, white to black?
