Is it possible to turn off the double-tap feature of this lasso? Quite often, an accidental double-tap, will close the selection and I have to start all over again.
I am using CS4 on a PC.
Is there any way to turn off the 'Double-Click to Close' functionality for creating selections (such as a Polygon selection)? I am making complex selections and accidentally double-clicking with my Wacom pen and it closes the selection when I don't want it to. I have tried setting the Wacom pen preferences for Photoshop but have been unable to affect this issue there. Obviously, I can continue to add to selections, but the premature closing frequently ends up with wacked shaped selection which I must do more work to cleanup. If I could turn off the PS double-click to close functionality it would fix this problem.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI am using 2008. In previous releases I was able to double click on a feature in the tree and edit any dimension I wanted to, including the "extrusion dim". If I wanted to just edit the extrusion, I would RMB and edit feature. Now when I DBL Click in the tree, it is the same as the RMB used to be. Now to edit any dim other than the extrusion, I have to edit sketch.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAny way to turn off the automatic launching of isolation mode on double click. It's highly annoying and slows me down every time I have to exit the mode so I can get back to work. I prefer to select elements using the layers panel, which is much more flexible.

Is there a preference or other setting to disable isolation mode? Especially when using a Wacom pen, it's alll too easy to double-click unintentionally. So disabling it permanently would be a great.

how to turn off the mouse function when the mouse cursor moves over a feature, such as an edge, point, or surface, and highlights it. I don't want it highlighting the features automatically. I want it to highlight once I click over a feature. My colleagues and I are very distraught by this feature, and will be discontinuing our use of your products that do not allow us to turn this feature off. I'm not sure why you'd want to weed your customer base like this, assuming that I can't turn this option off from the research I've done pouring through the hundreds of complaints related to this issue. I haven't been able to find any posts recently, or regarding Inventor 2013 specificially on this issue, so I was hoping this version had the option of turning it off. On one of my layers I have started getting "Feature was not saved in the target feature source" when I try to check in my data. In total there are 308 errors in the data table, all of which were features I deleted. They all have a featID of null and I cannot remove them from the data table. I need to fix these errors without going back and starting over.

20110421veiwports turning off.jpg AutoCAD isnt being nice to me lately another hassle i have is the viewports randomly turn off ( they dont show anything) and when i turn those ones on, others turn off.
i dont know how to change the topic to "solved" however a collegue told me to enter MAXACTVP at the command line the value was 16, i was told to set it to 64 ( i had 21 viewports ) and they all came on.

As I enlarge my cursor (for brushes, healing tools, whatever) at some undetermined point (different for all pictures) suddenly another cursor appears in the top left corner of CS5/CS6.The cursor is a duplicate of the cursor I am working with, stays in the top left corner of the app, and enlarges and shrinks as I scroll my mouse wheel up and down or use the [ and ] keys or however I enlarge and shrink my cursor.

Recently I have noticed I get DOUBLE CUSERS when I use certain tools such as; the Move, Crop, Eye dropper, Stamp, Pen, Arrows, Hand, Zoom, Color Picker Eye Dropper. It's not the clone tool, it's the brush.When I resize my brush to a certain size (different sizes for different images) a duplicate brush suddenly appears in the top left corner of my screen and resizes with the brush as I resize it up and down.

Also, if I zoom into my image, suddenly the duplicate brush will appear in the top left of my screen with the same behaviour.Different images behave differently but it appears to be once I get to a certain size on any image this duplicate brush cursor appears top left of screen and makes it very difficult for me to access menu and tool options.

If I double-click a JPG image in Bridge or Mini-Bridge, it will open in Photoshop.If I select a JPG image in Lightroom 4.1 and then select "Edit In" Photoshop CS6, I will get the normal dialog box that asks "What to Edit" with the three options. The image then appears in Photoshop.

m trying to get double drop shadows. i came across an article that said i could convert the layer into a smart object and give it additional shadows. however, when i try that the original drop shadow gets stuck onto the new one. i need them to go in slightly different directions.
