Photoshop :: CS Not Allow To Add MOV To Timeline

Apr 21, 2013

I was editing an .mov file in Photoshop (I don't have sufficient OS for AfterEffects). All was going well, so saved the projects as a .psd file (which I'd learned from an online tutorial and which had never given me problems before) and took a break. When I tried to reopen it, the video won't play and there's a yellow exclamation mark next to the thumbnail in the layers palette. I tried opening a new file and adding the original .mov to the timeline, but got the message "Could not complete request because Dynamic Link Media Server not available."

Edge Animate CC :: Symbol Timeline Versus Stage Timeline

Apr 3, 2014

If I have a symbol with its own timeline, I am familiar with targeting it with otehr elements and symbols and activating that timeline. But the symbol will also have a presence on the stage timeline - how does one play that?

I might be overcomplicating it, I thought it might just be play() on the main stage but that doesn't appear to work, neither does getStage.play() so I am doing something wrong somewhere

Photoshop :: Extending Timeline In CS6

Jun 29, 2012

In CS6, I cannot find the option to extend the duration of my photoshop document.  I am using Photoshop to make a short hand-drawn animated film.  Currently, the document is 300 frames long, but I would like to extend that to 400 frames. (I'm working in timeline mode, not frame mode.)

I could easily change the duration of a document in CS5 by clicking on the little drop-down menu in the top right corner of the animation panel, then going to "Document Settings" where I could change the duration and the frame rate.  When I click the drop-down in CS6, I find the frame rate option, but no duration.

Photoshop :: CS6 Animation / Timeline

Jul 28, 2013

I am trying to learn how to do a small animation. I have Timeline window open at bottom of screen but do not understand how to get images into the space. Everything is grayed out. I have read the Adobe tutorial but nothing really says how to place key frames into the timeline space. I watched a YouTube video but it started with there already being an image there and then they showed how to copy and change it so an animation could be achieved.

Photoshop :: Timeline Animation

Aug 20, 2009

I have a problem with a 3D object imported in PS CS4. It is about 3 seconds long on the timeline, and cannot be extended, I tried to drag but it cannot be dragged further, you can only make it shorter. The thing is that my animation is 30s long, and i want the object to be visible till the end. I know I can always duplicate the layer several times and move it, but that results in bigger file, more layers...

Photoshop :: Timeline Bar Hide The Key Able Property

Jan 10, 2013

I am using Photoshop cs6 windows version. First of all, see this picture.

Right now I am trying to animate layer masks which are attached to individual layer groups, but as you can see, the  deeper  layer nest goes, the harder it is to animate , because I can't read names of keyable property and I can't extend the property bar ,like After Effects,to read the full name of key able property  in Photoshop. Is there any way to avoid this problem? I really need to animate layer masks.

Is there a way to create this arrow drawing using Timeline in CS6?

Photoshop :: Converting Timeline Animations Into SWF?

Dec 17, 2012

In CS3 I was able to export animations into .SWF files but with CS6 I can't seem to find out how to do this?  The only option is .MP4 via File>Export>Render Video but thats no good to me.  I've searched high and low for this answer but have come up with nothing!

It needs to be SWF.  I've tried to convert MP4 into SWF using a 3rd party software but the quality was shocking and I'm unsure what settings to use for the original animation and also for the converting!  Doing it with CS6 is much prefered if possible!

Jenny Sue

I need :
1. Adding grass below the characters' feet. (if possible, cute like the clouds)
2. Changing/redesigning the effect/design of the title (FWFG) because I think it lacks design
3. Add more designs?

Photoshop :: Gaps Between Frames In CS6 Video Timeline

Feb 13, 2013

I forgot to switch the frame rate from 29.97 to 12 fps when I started working on an animation and when I switched to 12 fps mid-project the frames changed.

I have a hard time describing exactly what's going on so I'll just post a screenshot instead. Basically each frame has a gap in between and I am unable to line up the frames back to back. I was hoping to find out how to fix it so the frames play back to back seamlessly without any gaps. But yeah, when I attempt to align the frames back to back it won't let me, instead the frames overlap halfway or have this gap in between.

Photoshop :: Manipulating 3D Files In Timeline Panel?

Oct 12, 2012

create a short animation of the model rotating in 3-D space by using keyframes in the timeline panel.

1. I cannot drag the end of the layer to the right in order to increase the duration of my animation. The layer seems to be locked at 15 frames in length. How do I increase the duration of my 3-D layer so I can create a longer animation?

2. The bounding box for the model extends very far into z-space (much further than nesscessary to simply contain the model) which is making the object difficult to maniputale. How do I change the dimensions of the bounding box to more easily manipulate this model?

Photoshop :: 3D Object Won't Respond To Key Frame Changes In Timeline?

Sep 28, 2012

time it is 3D objects not responding to keyframe animation changes. I have tried creating a new 3D object. I have tried dragging and dropping the new object in to the target doc. I can't copy it withou t rasterizing. Do I have to develop the object from scratch from within the doc? I hope not. the target doc is already very large, this 3D object being the final element. Here are some screen shots

This is what happenes after dragging the 3d object from one spot the another on the canvas. There is only one object. the other is a ghost and disappears after I move in the time line. the actual 3d object remains in the position of the first keyframe no matter how many times I try to move it. Each time I get the "ghost" obejct before moving in the timeline.

Here is a screen shot of the timeline where the keyframes are registering but the object does not move to the new location. Just the "ghost" object appears and then is gone when I move in the timelineHere is the same object on it's own it the original doc . I had no trouble getting it to respond to keframe changes on it's own.acreen shot of the target doc's layer panel. I guess I need to know if there is a way to import a 3D object into a n existing doc without haing to develop in that doc.
