I want to draw a directional arrow on top of a background image.
And then render/export it as a video, and use it in an image sequence for INDD DPS (so when the image is activated in an iPad app, the arrow draws across the image on the screen).
Is there a way to create this arrow drawing using Timeline in CS6?
Any way to scrub the audio in the timeline using the arrow keys or the sequence positioner? Also, with "Snap" on, is it possible to have the positioner snap to a marker in the timeline?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am trying to draw a 3D arrow using 3ds, similar to the top left 3D arrow from this stock image website: [URL]...... and I am unsure how to approach this problem.
It must not be a hard image to draw considering how many people are selling this image online, but I am stuck. I have tried creating a box, converting it to an editable polygon, and then applying the bend modifier to the box, but it does not look anywhere as good as the image on that website.
I want to insert arrows into an idw. I usually use 'Leader Text' then leave the text blank.
The only problem with this method is it leaves a small horizontal or vertical line at the 'text' end of the arrow. Is there a way to get rid of this or is there an alternative way of inserting an arrow?

When I plot my Autocad drawing, arrows (see attached image) arrow.jpgpop up. I'm pretty sure they are coming in from one of my architecture x-ref files, but as they only pop up when the drawing is plotted, I cant seem to figure out how to turn them off.

I have a block that has a leader under an ARCH dimstyle. It's red but when I insert it into a drawing the line and arrow are white because that's what the ARCH style is in the drawing. Isn't there a setting that stops that from happening?

I have opened the Drawing Template (Standard.idw) and opened the Styles Editor and switched the Arrow Side Position and saved the template. Then I have tested. In the template it works good, but when I open a new drawing (based on the template) the arrow side position didn't change.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIf I zoom with the mouse scroll "alt scroll" then press the down arrow it opens my file menu, this is 100% reproducible. Zoom any other way will not open the menu. I have searched the shortcuts and can not find any shortcut associated with opening the file menu.
BTW windows 7 system , fully updated cs5.
I need to rotate a layer to an exact spot relative to another layer.
Moving it right and left with the arrow keys lets me see when I snaps
into register.
I also want to do that with rotation.
How do you give an arrow a colour of if it is big enough fill it with a colour.

Everything works fine and dandy on my work PC, however when I try to do some editting on my home PC there are some quirks that I can't figure out.
The main thing is that my Up/Down Arrow Keys do absolutely nothing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen painting with the paintbrush the cursor flickers between the round brush size cursor to an arrowhead. The paintbrush continues painting as it should, but the cursor flickers constantly between the 2. This is a visual annoyance but doesn't seem to affect performance.
