What's an easily way of browsing the patterns I currently have, but in a sense that they are already filled out on a large area so I can see the effect. So what I'm after is a way to ideally step through (single click) one pattern to the next, and see the effect it has as a pattern for a filled in area.
At the moment I see to have to keep going back to the Fill with Pattern for a given area and manually applying and then viewing. The only place I can find to see patterns is in the fill with pattern type dialog however (a) they are very small and (b) they are not tiled across an area so you can get a feel for what it will look like.
purchased the 5.5-upgrade to 6.0 Designpremium. Everything seems to work properly except the bridge, wich won't start as stand-alone - works only as Mini-bridge inside photoshop.
While trying to start the bridge from photoshop ("go to bridge") results in a bridge's crash...
In my former installations (5.0 and 5.1) everything was ok ...
I'm running Elements 12 on a Macbook Pro with 16GB RAM and Mavericks OS. I find that Organizer stalls and/or crashes when I browse photos. I'm shooting mostly in RAW. Is Elements and/or my Mac not robust enough to handle the file sizes involved?
After opening Bridge CS6 (and using mini Bridge), there are no thumbnails showing. I've pointed Bridge to just one folder with less than 5 photos in it and it cannot even display them. I'm running a recent Mac Pro with 16GB RAM and kick graphics card.
When I open an MPG video I made recently and drag it to the timeline, I only get a view of the first frame on the timeline. I don't know what I changed but I would like to browse the timeline to find a particular point. How can I correct this?
I have a world file TIFF that I'd like to insert into a plan, but it asks me for a file name and location instead of allowing me to browse for it. How do I browse out to my drives and find it instead of having to type it in?
Also, is there a button inside of some menu to use instead of having to type in MAPINSERT like LDD?
When I open the software and try select "open", I have to type in the name of the drawing and path on the command line, it won't allow me to browse for the drawing or show recently used drawings. I can work around this by typing in the path and name, but it is inconvenient. Is there a setting that I need to change?
I am using Lightroom 2.6 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, and the browse for files or folders dialog that comes up when I need to choose location for my raw files imported as .dng does not list all hard drives of my computer - it only lists contents of my user folder in drive C:/ - thus making it impossible for me to choose any other location than those within my user folder. I attach two screenshots - 1/ Normal browse for folders dialog as it appears from within Windows explorer. 2/ Same dialog as invoked by Lightroom - with all drives missing.
I'm running Windows 7 RC but I've been using that for a while. It seems like this problem started after I began running my lightroom catalog from my Drobo, but I'm not sure if that is related as well. When I bring up a Browse for Files or Folders dialog box, for example when chosing where to export or import images, nothing shows up in there except for my user name and folders that are inside there such as documents, pictures, music etc. My drives and folders do not show up at all. If the location I want to import or export to is in the list of previous locations, for example e:pictures then I can still use that location. But if I wanted to pick that location from the browse dialog there is no way to do so. I need to export some photos to a CD, I can't select the drive. I attached an image to make my problem more clear.
I use Photoshop Elements 11. I am trying to upload photos to a website and the browse only goes to Windows/Pictures. How do I navigate to photoshop to upload pictures there?
I'm writing a macro that will take a .cdr file, import it, and then do something with it. When I first run the macro, I would like an "open file" browser to pop-up so that the user may navigate and specify which .cdr file to import.
Just got Photo Pro x3 Ultimate and that works fine. The Photo Project Creator on the other hand seems to have a problem. I can run it and open a new project but I cannot browse to where my pictures are stored. Pictures are only available if I put them on my desktop. The browser shows me as a user and the hard drive but when I click on them nothing happens. I have tried deleting the files in the digital studio folder and completely reinstalling the program to no avail. It does not matter who I run the program as or if I run it in compatibility mode.

Is it possible in iLogic to select a file in a dialog box or a browser ?
I need to replace the 3d model on a drawing. I have to ask the user to select the new file to use. How can I select the file using a dialog box or a browser ? The best should be a combobox with the list of opened files, and a button to browse on the disk, like when you create a view.
I was wondering if I'm currently using AutoCAD 2010 and when I try to attach a PDF the browse file window is missing. The only thing that shows up is the option to type the location of the file on the command line. The window use to show up but I must of unknowingly clicked on a command to disable it.
In the context of an animated GIF, or any other context where I have a multilayer image, I would like to see a single one all by itself. How do I do that?
I'm trying to transition away from iPhoto to Lightroom. Honestly I've always liked iPhoto. I've found it very easy to use, and the way it organizes photos into "events" is very useful. However, I'll be doing most of my photo work on a PC, so I'm moving over to Lightroom instead.
I have already exported all of my iPhoto library. Each event has its own folder (named after the event), and all the photos have their meta data. Everything is copacetic.
My question is a matter of organization of the photos within Lightroom. In iPhoto, all the events were listed chronologically, and this made it easy to locate what I was looking for. In Lightroom, however, it seems that the way you navigate photos is through the folder list under "Library," which is listed alphabetically instead of chronologically.
I currently have 136 separate folders. So I turn to you for a bit of advice since I am brand new to this program. Any way to organize and browse photos in Lightroom that I don't know about?
While working with my Easy Ease, the SHIFT+F9 just no longer works or hasn't since installation. SHIFT+CTRL+F9, or F9 work as intended.(I checked the pref text file for my keyboard short cuts and SHIFT+F9 is assigned correctly)
Now when I create a preset then wish to view or browse my presets I click Animation > Browse Preset, and nothing happens.(Made a shortcut to my preset folder)
When I create a new Project I can't browse for new music. I press the Browse key and "Desktop" and "My Computer" come up but when I click on "My Computer" nothing happens.
To get the 'File Selection dialog box' in AutoCAD via LISP, which command should I use other than 'GETFILED' ?
I have a program which using GETFILED to select the drawing file , but I think this dialog box size is too small to browse folder/file , as you cant see the favorites list and you cant resize the dialog box.
I get this message each time I want to go to the mediahub. I already uninstalled smoke 2013 and deleted the /usr/discreet folder After reinstalling smoke 2013 creating a fresh project the mediahub works fine But after quiting and restating smoke I get the message cannot browse local gateway: Connection refused
I have a VBA macro that is using at some point a full path in order to get data from an Excel file. I am changing the data from the original file to the file that is localized in the full address. Now I want to use a Browse button and generate the Save As Window to capture the data directly from source file.
Is there a piece of code that open the Save As window that I need and return the full path so I can use it in my original code? I am sending a word document with a picture that shows the window that I want to call
I'm fumbling around with a Python script. Is it possible to make an input dialog with a "Browse" button so the user can find a folder (to be loaded into a variable in the script)?
