View 1 RepliesI just reinstalled Photoshop CS5 Extended onto my new computer. I had it running before but I got a new hard drive. I am still running Windows 7 32 Bit. Seemed to install. When I opened up Photoshop and tried to open a new document or open and existing photo I got this message: "Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using Adobe Photoshop CS3 for a couple of years and for the most part haven't had any problems. However, when I tried to run the program today, the message "Adobe Photoshop CS3 has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem." popped up, and I could not run Photoshop.
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
Application Name: Photoshop.exe
Application Version: 10.0.0.0
Application Timestamp: 4601eae8
Fault Module Name: MSVCR80.dll
Fault Module Version: 8.0.50727.6195
Fault Module Timestamp: 4dcddbf3
(It also listed information for the Exception Code, Exception Offset, OS Version, Locale ID, and four different kinds of Additional Information, which I have not listed here).
I also suspect that I'm having the same problem with all of my other Adobe software (I have Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium), since I am getting similar error messages for Adobe Illustrator CS3, and Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 will not open at all and does not even display an error message.
for no explicable reason PS3 has stopped responding to a variety of commands and particularly to 'print'. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling
both photoshop and the Epson printer software - all to no avail. Could the problem lie with the Operating system which is Windows Vista Home Premium and if so how should I best proceed ?

View 4 Replies View Relatedrepeat error each and every time I use any adjustment on graphics, photos or anything I am working on with PSP X3. Am including a screen shot, edited down to the forum specifics, and I had to edit the screen capture with PSP X2 since to reload PSP X3 will now require my restarting my computer.
I have used Paint Shop Pro since it's very first incarnation as a tiny program courtesy of the folks with Jasc, so this is not my first time using the product, just the absolute worst experience doing so.
No matter what the image, file type, or set-up, when I try to make adjustments (even if I make sure to stop and make double sure they are finished processing), eventually the program locks up and I get the error shown and stated.

View 8 Replies View RelatedThis is about the "MetadataMgr has stopped working" endlessly repeated error.VideoStudio Pro X3 under Windows 7 (64-bit) has recently become unstable, and I get the "MetadataMgr has stopped working" endlessly repeating error. Corel's MetadataMgr.exe doesn't stop creating errors unless the PC is rebooted.
I uninstalled VideoStudio Pro X3 and then reinstalled it. The problem disappeared briefly, but came back next time I attempted to burn a DVD using VideoStudio Pro X3. So again I'm in MetadataMgr hell, with a video editing program that bombs. All patches on the Corel WWW site have been installed, with no affect on the problem.
I see that this has been discussed here before (Thread: Possible to use DVD Factory Pro 2010 w/o metadatamgr.exe?), and there is supposed to be a fix by deleting some directories somewhere.
I'm a photography student at the Art Institute's online division. I've been working with LR 3 for the past couple of weeks. Suddenly the program shut down; I got an error message from Windows, saying it would keep looking for a solution, but then I couldn't even open Lightroom at all. I was having the same problem with PhotoShop from the Creative Design Suite 5.5.
I uninstalled both programs, then re-installed. Now PhotoShop's fine, but Lightroom is still doing (or rather NOT doing) what it was before, with the same error message.
Oh--one more thing. I recently bought a Nikon D5100, so I uploaded the two software disks when I was ready to transfer photos directly from the camera to my laptop. I don't THINK this is the problem, since I didn't start using Lightroom until after I uploaded the Nikon software, and both worked fine last week. However, just in case, I uninstalled the Nikon software & haven't yet re-installed that.
how to get the dvd factory pro 2010 running on a windows 7 pc? I just installed videostudio x3 on my pc and I cannot burn a dvd.

I then have to restart 3D Civil

I have 2013 on my system, and it was working fine for a few weeks, but then one day I tried to bring it up and got this error:

and when I click on the ok button, it shuts down the CAD window again. I tried repairing teh install, and then I tried reinstalling the program. I still get the same error, no matter what.

Error message states: AutoCAD component has stopped working.
I'm getting this message:

I have uninstalled/reinstalled Photoshop and still get the same message.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running Photoshop Elements 5.0. Everything was working fine til this mornin. I've had the program for about a year now. When I tried to open it this morning I got this error message that popped up.
It says:
Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable.
I've tried repairing the program. That didn't work. Restarted my computer. That didn't work. Uninstalled the program and tried opening it again. That didn't work. I'm at a loss! I really need to get into my program b/c my work is there. I tried opening some of my files (they are located in my Pictures folder) and they pop up with the same message.
And before you say "It's because it's 14 years old", know that it was working perfectly until about two months ago.
I have a Windows 7 laptop with 4GB memory, plenty of HD space, and no other PC issues.
My Photoshop CS4 and CS5 shows "Photoshop has stopped working" . Whereas I have Windows 7 64bit, 6GB RAM, 512MB Graphics Card.
Earlier I worked in this version. But after formating my conputer I could not do anything with only in Photoshop. First I installed Photoshop CS4 it was failed to work then install Photoshop CS5..It also failed to work.
I updated Photoshop CC about 7 days ago. Before that it worked fine, since then I have been using Photoshop CS6 for some work (CC left it there when it installed) but yesterday I wanted to go to Photoshop CC from Lightroom 5.2 and Photoshop CC hung. Rebooted computer and tried to open Photoshop CC but it crashes on initialization.
As interim measure I installed PS CS6 as an optional external editor in Lightroom, but I would like to use Photoshop CC again one day!
Yesterday, I tried to start up Photoshop, but it got halfway through initializing and stopped, flashing a message: "Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 has stopped working." I shut down the computer and tried again, but it repeated three or four times.
So I uninstalled the program. Upon reinstallation, installation failed and the computer said: "Your installation encountered errors. Please try restarting your system and installing again. Exit Code: 20."
I have been using my program since June without issue. Suddenly it stopped working. I can open the program but it will not create a new file or open an existing file. If I "open with" from windows explorer it won't open either. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I'm still not having any luck.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been running Photoshop CS2 on my computer for about a month now, the full version, activated and registered. For some reason whenever I open a file, Photoshop stops responding; all it does is make a sound ("dun") sound whenever I click on the Photoshop window. The only button that works is the minimize button; I have to use Windows Task Manager to close the program.
Does anyone have any ideas what's going on and how I can fix this?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI get an error message from windows vista premiumm home.
It just says: Adobe Photoshop CS3 has stopped working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. The only option is a box that says "close program". Once you close it everything goes away. It doesn't even give you a hint of what the problem could be. I installed creative suite 3 web premium on this brand new computer about 2 weeks ago. This is a first time install of this software, but when I called Adobe they said they don't offer free installation help anymore on cs3 because cs4 is out now. Anyone have a clue what I should do? I can't just uninstall photoshop, if I try it wants to uninstall all 8 programs.
