View 1 RepliesThis is about the "MetadataMgr has stopped working" endlessly repeated error.VideoStudio Pro X3 under Windows 7 (64-bit) has recently become unstable, and I get the "MetadataMgr has stopped working" endlessly repeating error. Corel's MetadataMgr.exe doesn't stop creating errors unless the PC is rebooted.
I uninstalled VideoStudio Pro X3 and then reinstalled it. The problem disappeared briefly, but came back next time I attempted to burn a DVD using VideoStudio Pro X3. So again I'm in MetadataMgr hell, with a video editing program that bombs. All patches on the Corel WWW site have been installed, with no affect on the problem.
I see that this has been discussed here before (Thread: Possible to use DVD Factory Pro 2010 w/o metadatamgr.exe?), and there is supposed to be a fix by deleting some directories somewhere.
I first had Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Sometimes I could open a project in DVD Factory 2010. Mostly the system crashed.
Now I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I hoped things would be better now. When I open Corel DVD factory 2010 directly and click on "Project" on the left nothing happens?
I'm done editing my first movie using Videostudio X3 Pro. I want to create a DVD using Corel DVD Factory 2010 that comes with VS.I've got 4,4GB space on my blank DVD but my movieproject is 5,6 GB. How can I make DVD Factory 2010 split the movie on to 2 DVDs.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just reinstalled Photoshop CS5 Extended onto my new computer. I had it running before but I got a new hard drive. I am still running Windows 7 32 Bit. Seemed to install. When I opened up Photoshop and tried to open a new document or open and existing photo I got this message: "Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using Adobe Photoshop CS3 for a couple of years and for the most part haven't had any problems. However, when I tried to run the program today, the message "Adobe Photoshop CS3 has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem." popped up, and I could not run Photoshop.

I also suspect that I'm having the same problem with all of my other Adobe software (I have Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium), since I am getting similar error messages for Adobe Illustrator CS3, and Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 will not open at all and does not even display an error message.

repeat error each and every time I use any adjustment on graphics, photos or anything I am working on with PSP X3. Am including a screen shot, edited down to the forum specifics, and I had to edit the screen capture with PSP X2 since to reload PSP X3 will now require my restarting my computer.
I have used Paint Shop Pro since it's very first incarnation as a tiny program courtesy of the folks with Jasc, so this is not my first time using the product, just the absolute worst experience doing so.
No matter what the image, file type, or set-up, when I try to make adjustments (even if I make sure to stop and make double sure they are finished processing), eventually the program locks up and I get the error shown and stated.
I'm a photography student at the Art Institute's online division. I've been working with LR 3 for the past couple of weeks. Suddenly the program shut down; I got an error message from Windows, saying it would keep looking for a solution, but then I couldn't even open Lightroom at all. I was having the same problem with PhotoShop from the Creative Design Suite 5.5.
I uninstalled both programs, then re-installed. Now PhotoShop's fine, but Lightroom is still doing (or rather NOT doing) what it was before, with the same error message.
Oh--one more thing. I recently bought a Nikon D5100, so I uploaded the two software disks when I was ready to transfer photos directly from the camera to my laptop. I don't THINK this is the problem, since I didn't start using Lightroom until after I uploaded the Nikon software, and both worked fine last week. However, just in case, I uninstalled the Nikon software & haven't yet re-installed that.
I downloaded and installed cs6 for windows 7 32 bit and cant open it to use,i get the message" adobe photoshop cs6 has stopped working" I have tried different graphics drivers but still the same. My other adobe softaware works fine,IE: elements11 and lightroom4.

I am finding this problem very agravating as i am spending more time restarting project and have to save everytime i make a change. Has to be a solution to this or the purchase of this product is not worth anything.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI installed Corel Video Studio Pro X4 Ultimate on my laptop at the end of last year and up until now it has been working fine. Because I was not happy with the final dvd of hd footage (I don't have a blu ray burner) despite trying all the settings I purchased Pinnacle Studio 15 ultimate because that seems to give a better result when burned to disc. At first Pinnacle was not working in that all of its elements were not accessible so I was editing my footage in Corel and then burning the end result in Pinnacle. Having gone on to the Pinnacle Forums I was advised to change from the default computer desktop theme of Aero to Windows Classic and change the display to smaller - 100%. This solved all the problems with Pinnacle and it is now working properly. However, when I tried to open Corel it came up with the message Corel Video Studio Pro has stopped working, close the programme. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still refuses to open up. Until changing the desktop theme Pinnacle and Corel did not appear to conflict with each other so I had no reason to think there would be a problem running the two applications.
I have taken a screenshot of the error message but cant seem to paste it to the post.
I now am running a Core i7 -2760 QM CPU @ 2.40 GHZ laptop

The video capture function for my Corel VideoStudio12 program. When I hit the capture tab, nothing happens. Just two months ago my 17 year old son used the program without any problems. All the other functions are working (edit, effect, overlay, title, audio,).
I am not very tech savvy, so I hope there is a simple solution. I am able to capture video with Windows Movie Maker, but I prefer to use Corel as it is a much better program. My operating system is Vista Home Premium, I am using a firewire connection to a Panasonic Camcorder, model PV-GS83.

Where is Get more link for Movie Factory 7 SE?
I think that I have to re-install this, as I don't think it is properly installed
I have tried burning a Blu-ray disk using Movie Fatory 7 without any success. First of all I tried to burn an mpeg file to the disk (File Format not supported message in DVD Movie Factory), then in VS4 I tried "create video file" as a blu-ray format PAL Mpeg2 1920x1080 in VS4 - then went to "Create Disc" opened DVD Movie Factory 7 and selected BluRay, (File Format not supported message in DVD Movie Factory), so then I searched these forums and found that it looked like I should create a AVCHD file format in VS4 PAL HD 1920, so I did that and then went to "Create Disc" and got the same error message that file is not supported.
How do I create a BluRay disc that will play in a bluray machine? I have bought blank BluRay discs, but Movie Factory won't burn my file formats?
I would like to use Corel DVD Factory to "Create Video Disk". I have created my mpg (Movie Clip) vidoe file and have placed it in a "c:video" directory tree.
How can I user Corel DVD Factory to Create Disk and drag/drop my file to that application?
When I "Select Photos and Videos" it brings up the Library but it doesn't show what I want and I'm not sure how to navigate tothe .mpg file I created so that I can drag/drop to the Media Tray.
One of our users has managed to get the workspace kind of messed up. They have some toolbars, but only a fraction of the total, and the ribbon menus are just blanks. The odd thing is that if someone else logs on to that machine and starts AutoCAD everything is fine. We've uninstalled AutoCAD and re-installed it and it has no effect at all. The user's workspace is still all screwed up. Is there some SIMPLE way to get the program to reset to all the factory defaults or something?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been using Corel Video Studio Pro X4 for a while and never had this problem before. When I try to burn a clip to dvd I get the message:
The working folder C:documents and settingsxxxmy documentscorelvideostudio14.0 may not have enough space. We will clean up the converted cache file. You can also change the working folder in preferences.
The problem is I have already changed the working folder in preferences. When I click on ok to see if it will clean up the converted cache file nothing happens. Why is this coming up when I have the working folder in a different drive with well over 370 gig of space. How do I get this to work again. Another thing I was burning a clip and when it finished it came up with a error and did not work. That is when I tried to re burn the file and got this message. I have tried burning a different file and get the same message. As it is it is useless to me now.
i am usually getting "Fata Error " while working, it comes normally 5-6 times in a day and its so irretating to shut down the autocad and restart the whole thing.
i am using below config system
Intel Core i3/ 4GB/ 500GB HDD/ 1GB NVidia Card/ Gigabit Lan/ Windows 64 Bit OS
i have installed Autocad 2012 3D 64Bit version. and my file location is on network with attached NAS connected on 10/100Mbps Network.
there are totally 7 desktops out of which 3 pc's are having 3D License and rest 4 are having 2D License.
Remember all my data stroed on my NAS and all 7 users access from netwrok to modify and editing of my Autocad files size not more then 200-400Kb
attached snap shot of error generated on screen.
And before you say "It's because it's 14 years old", know that it was working perfectly until about two months ago.
I have a Windows 7 laptop with 4GB memory, plenty of HD space, and no other PC issues.
My Photoshop CS4 and CS5 shows "Photoshop has stopped working" . Whereas I have Windows 7 64bit, 6GB RAM, 512MB Graphics Card.
Earlier I worked in this version. But after formating my conputer I could not do anything with only in Photoshop. First I installed Photoshop CS4 it was failed to work then install Photoshop CS5..It also failed to work.
I updated Photoshop CC about 7 days ago. Before that it worked fine, since then I have been using Photoshop CS6 for some work (CC left it there when it installed) but yesterday I wanted to go to Photoshop CC from Lightroom 5.2 and Photoshop CC hung. Rebooted computer and tried to open Photoshop CC but it crashes on initialization.
As interim measure I installed PS CS6 as an optional external editor in Lightroom, but I would like to use Photoshop CC again one day!
