Oct 23, 2012I'm a photography student at the Art Institute's online division. I've been working with LR 3 for the past couple of weeks. Suddenly the program shut down; I got an error message from Windows, saying it would keep looking for a solution, but then I couldn't even open Lightroom at all. I was having the same problem with PhotoShop from the Creative Design Suite 5.5.
I uninstalled both programs, then re-installed. Now PhotoShop's fine, but Lightroom is still doing (or rather NOT doing) what it was before, with the same error message.
Oh--one more thing. I recently bought a Nikon D5100, so I uploaded the two software disks when I was ready to transfer photos directly from the camera to my laptop. I don't THINK this is the problem, since I didn't start using Lightroom until after I uploaded the Nikon software, and both worked fine last week. However, just in case, I uninstalled the Nikon software & haven't yet re-installed that.

Jun 26, 2013I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements 10 to 11. Everything works great while I am using it but if I do not do anthing in Elements for 4-5 minutes I get the 'Elements 11 Organizer has stopped working' error message, the only option I have is to push the 'Close Program' button.

Aug 27, 2013I have been Recieving a message 'Photoshop CS5 has been stoped Working' after opening PS and can do a little editing and after about 4 minutes the message comes which have only one option , close program. Sometime i recieve another message also 'Onone Library' which have option 'ok'. (Adobe Photoshop CS5.1)
I tried for a solution by changing name of file in C:Program FilesAdobeAdobe Photoshop CS5.1Plug-insExtensions changed Scriptingsupport into ~ScriptingSupport but not solved. Some cannot open image.A similiar has inserred , only change in the name {Skype ------- Photoshop}
VideoStudio :: Corel Has Stopped Working Message On Startup
Feb 15, 2012I installed Corel Video Studio Pro X4 Ultimate on my laptop at the end of last year and up until now it has been working fine. Because I was not happy with the final dvd of hd footage (I don't have a blu ray burner) despite trying all the settings I purchased Pinnacle Studio 15 ultimate because that seems to give a better result when burned to disc. At first Pinnacle was not working in that all of its elements were not accessible so I was editing my footage in Corel and then burning the end result in Pinnacle. Having gone on to the Pinnacle Forums I was advised to change from the default computer desktop theme of Aero to Windows Classic and change the display to smaller - 100%. This solved all the problems with Pinnacle and it is now working properly. However, when I tried to open Corel it came up with the message Corel Video Studio Pro has stopped working, close the programme. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it still refuses to open up. Until changing the desktop theme Pinnacle and Corel did not appear to conflict with each other so I had no reason to think there would be a problem running the two applications.
I have taken a screenshot of the error message but cant seem to paste it to the post.
I now am running a Core i7 -2760 QM CPU @ 2.40 GHZ laptop
16gb RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium
64 bit

Paint Shop Pro :: X3 Has Stopped Working - Error
Nov 29, 2011repeat error each and every time I use any adjustment on graphics, photos or anything I am working on with PSP X3. Am including a screen shot, edited down to the forum specifics, and I had to edit the screen capture with PSP X2 since to reload PSP X3 will now require my restarting my computer.
I have used Paint Shop Pro since it's very first incarnation as a tiny program courtesy of the folks with Jasc, so this is not my first time using the product, just the absolute worst experience doing so.
No matter what the image, file type, or set-up, when I try to make adjustments (even if I make sure to stop and make double sure they are finished processing), eventually the program locks up and I get the error shown and stated.

Jan 1, 2012This is about the "MetadataMgr has stopped working" endlessly repeated error.VideoStudio Pro X3 under Windows 7 (64-bit) has recently become unstable, and I get the "MetadataMgr has stopped working" endlessly repeating error. Corel's MetadataMgr.exe doesn't stop creating errors unless the PC is rebooted.
I uninstalled VideoStudio Pro X3 and then reinstalled it. The problem disappeared briefly, but came back next time I attempted to burn a DVD using VideoStudio Pro X3. So again I'm in MetadataMgr hell, with a video editing program that bombs. All patches on the Corel WWW site have been installed, with no affect on the problem.
I see that this has been discussed here before (Thread: Possible to use DVD Factory Pro 2010 w/o metadatamgr.exe?), and there is supposed to be a fix by deleting some directories somewhere.
AutoCAD 2013 :: New Install But It Stopped Opening And Gave Error

Jul 26, 2012I've started getting this random errror message today when doing random commands, such as switching from model space to my layouts and vice versa, or the undo command, "unrecognized version and cannot be read" and then it gives me the Ok/Cancel option. I hit OK, then says "is not recognized syntax, select OK to ignore or Cancel to abort" And I hit ok, and the command is carried out, but slowly.
I've looked this error up and it seems to have been around since 2000. It looks like it has something to do with print files and scripts, but we haven't added or changed any in years. Although I have been having printer issues. Yesterday this started and it's still happening - when I press the print button, no matter what printer is set to, it would take 2 minutes to see the dialog box, 2 minutes for just a preview, then 2 minutes or more to start printing. It doesn't sound like a long time, but it adds up! And it's still doing that on CAD alone... printing is quick in other programs.
I'm on AutoCAD 2013, Windows 7, 64 bit OS.
GIMP :: Drawing Tools Stopped Working All Of A Sudden (2013)
May 11, 2013I'm using GIMP in my own language so the tools names translation might not be 100% accurate.
Been using GIMP (2.8 and just switched to the latest one) for a while now, it's been nearly a year on this PC (Windows 7 64 bit, relatively recent hardware, 8 Gb of RAM, etc.) and it's worked smoothly up until a couple of days ago when it stopped working as intended all of a sudden for some reason.
Whether I use my Wacom tablet or the mouse none of the tools that normally allow you to draw (pencil, brush, airbrush, etc.) work anymore (cropping, distorting the image and the likes work fine though), doesn't matter if it's a brand new document or an old file.
The funny thing is that when I go to the "Edit" menu it'll allow me to rollback and undo whatever I did with the aforementioned tools, even though there's no trace of it on the empty canvas itself.
I tried to uninstall and install the software back but it didn't do the trick.This is really irking me as I'm working on an illustration that is due in a week and I basically had to stop working on it altogether because I haven't been able to get rid of this problem (also I can't seem to find anything about this specific issue on the net).
